"The menu at Habit was basic and limited, and we opted for the crab toast to start. While the dish was visually unappealing due to its grey color, the taste was not unpleasant although the fennel overpowered the avocado. Our main course of fish and thrice cooked chips was satisfactory, but the chips were soggy and lacked the desired crispiness. The mushy peas, although flavorful, had an unnatural bright green hue. Service at Habit was efficient and friendly, perhaps compensating for the lack of ambience. The total bill, which included a glass of wine each, was reasonable at £50. However, I believe there are better dining options available for a similar price. I hope Davy's will improve the quality of their food and enhance the overall atmosphere to attract more customers and regain the popularity they once held in the 1980s."

"My boyfriend and I were walking by and were intrigued by the sign on their window that said "Edinburgh's First Naked Cafe.""
"the bottlecrue is a fantastic place in a picturesque environment, conveniently 2 minutes walk from the St paul Metro Station. the bar is divided into several rooms so that the capacity for an immersive and cosmopolitan nightlife experience, with a separate breakout space for rent and private parties at conferences and workshops available, I also think. they make an excellent menu, plus a special vegan / vegetarian menu if required. the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. they went out of their way to ensure that our event ran as smoothly as possible and completely accepted our needs, even our own private waiter in the night organized. could not recommend this place enough!"

"nice pub when too much of a 'chain' type of atmosphere, they know everywhere, they go into a davy 's, it will look exactly the same. as always, began with a beautiful camp and then went to the evening dinner room. it was quite far from the kitchens and we felt quite abandoned. the menu is short. with typical pub hot and cold sandwichch eat. I went for the British Savinggel with watchfuls, which was quite good, not as soft as you liked it, but okay. the brot was good, but the butter was a surprise. very nice, nutty and evokatiw. for the main meal I ordered a rib-eye steak, medium. and they mucked it with someone else's order small. so it sent back. not so impressed by the service then, but the second time around the steak was good. all in all would be given 5/10. not so much worth for money, but the weather was very good and enjoyed me with the beer, so I feel a little bit cozy about them."

"cat and canary can boast to be the real sportable in canary wharf, unless it is summer or winter sports is always on in summer when weather permits, they set up a tw in the window so that people can sit outside they enjoy the games. in the inner there are 2 LED TVs and a projector screen, quite anywhere they sit, they can not miss the action. they have some good ale and camps on the train and the plates, especially the meat plate it is worth putting up for great sports events such as Olympic or world cups, fine line, davy’s or broodies next to TV screens, but for the year of action there is no other place like cat and canary!"

"every year we come back to lunch. as old retired city chaps this has always kept beautiful memories. Unfortunately, yesterday was a catastrophe. strangely, we had to wash the order from a set menu a few and the story. we had all smoked laughs, which was good. I ordered steak and chips. the steak was ok, but very small, and I counted 7 chips in mine and my friends. a bit dirty green peasant no sneaking offered no sneaking tomato. it was a shame. the service was terrible. I don't think I counted a smile. I asked for more chips and said I don't pay them. my brother had truth. it looked like it had been under warm heating for a long time. the dark flesh was not edible and there was no filling. he complained and they returned with a better looking version. no excuse. oh and the restaurant was just a third full so I still don't know why we had to preorder and how they could supply such a crumbly food. the next cure was cheese, which was already prepared in a refrigerator. three types. and three cookies. my brother's plate was ice cold right from the freezer. totally unacceptable. he changed for Christmas pudding. there were no excuses or something. we'll never do it in that thing. such a shame to see an old clip disappear."

"The service at this restaurant is very slow. The food is decent, but lacks personality. The desserts stand out as the most interesting part of the menu. The restaurant's location is lovely, with large windows, a touch of greenery, and outdoor tables on a quiet city street that is perfect for a sunny day. While there may be better options for steak in town, they likely come with a higher price tag."

"I've been going to Davy's establishments since 1984, and to this venue for years as it is a good position for a decent business breakfast. However, today's experience has incensed me. The fancy Twining's teabag just doesn't hit the spot, it doesn't deliver a decent morning cuppa, so today I asked for two teabags in my teapot. I had two pots. When the bill came up I had been charged for four. When I queried the bill the waitress told me that the manager had told her to charge double. There was no intervention at the point of order and explanation that a menu variation need a price adjustment. At the very least, it should have been explained on delivery of the bill so I didn't think that an error had been made. At £4.34 for a cup of tea including service charge I am not being petty, I just want the restaurant to respect my custom and treat me fairly and tell me the cost implication of my choice. Most of all, think about the ramifications of cheesing off a loyal customer by being cheap over less than 10 pence worth of teabags. It will be sometime before you might see me again I have a choice."

"the first time at this davy is for me, although a master father for my client. really attentive service and well tagged. shepherd’s pie delivered and my aubergine steak grooms were full of taste an ideal dish if they don’t want something too heavy. good ambiente. and it’s unnecessary to say an excellent selection of crying through the glass."

"I ordered a goat cheese salad at this restaurant and it was disappointingly small and lacked flavor. Additionally, they had already added a service charge to the bill, yet the waitress, who provided no service, had the audacity to ask for an additional tip on the credit card machine. Witherespoon serves better meals than her. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant and I do not recommend it to anyone I know."

"We had a great meal just before Christmas, so we returned with family. We were disappointed to find that the menu was pretty much the same. We had hoped that such a short menu would change regularly. The smoked fish starter was still good, but the curried vegetables were a letdown. We will wait a while before returning and hope for some variety."

"not your average cake business! looks like a hole-in-the-wall' joint from outside, but go down to the cellar level to discover a unique restaurant and a bar that looks like the old docks. there are a few veggie pies on the menu, but unfortunately they were sold out of the aubergine when I left. However, the spiced butter bean pots was quite delicious. I am a bit strange and hate kartoffels so no commentary there, but I can testify that their hand cut chips are delicious! they serve a great selection of craft beers and apple wines to accompany their meal and service is friendly. most torts are to be ordered so that waiting time can be a little long, but it is worth the quality. recommend in general, but not for a work dinner due to the wait."

"I was unfortunately disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. Initially, I was pleased to have reserved a table in the trios section. However, on the day of our reservation, I received a phone call from the restaurant saying they were fully booked and offered us a table in the pit instead, assuring us we could still enjoy the trios menu. When we arrived at the pit, we had a hard time finding our table, which was located right next to the loudspeakers and a beer pong table. I had to go up to the bar and shout over the noise to request two menus, which seemed to take the staff by surprise. While the food was fine and the waiter was pleasant, my daughter found the atmosphere disappointing and unwelcoming. We also wanted to order a drink, but the cocktail bar was closed for a private party. Overall, I left feeling unimpressed."

"This restaurant is truly charming with its intimate atmosphere and options for seating both upstairs and downstairs. I highly recommend making a reservation as it can get quite busy and may not accommodate walk-ins. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, however, it's worth noting that the bathroom is located upstairs. I had the goats cheese starter and Ox cheek main course, both of which were delicious. The mashed potatoes side was also excellent. The menu isn't extensive but the food is top-notch. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience."

"When it comes to fast food places, I 've run the gamut of experiences, from being sorely disappointed (certain McDonalds, KFCs and Popeyes) to excellent. Chic-fil-a ranks at the top of excellent experiences. The facility is immaculate, the staff is cheery, knowledgeable and good-humored, and the food is fresh, consistent and delicious! I don 't know why someone else described Chic-fil-a as nugget pushers . While they do serve chicken nuggets, and the best chicken nuggets found anywhere, they also have the best chicken patties, grilled or fried, as well as an awesome breakfast of eggs, sausage, or bacon. Can you get that at Cane 's? NOPE. Can you get fresh squeezed lemonade (Yummm) from real lemons at Cane 's? NOPE. It 's Minutemade from concentrate. Does Cane 's list the calories per serving of every product? NOPE. Chic-fil-a does! Are Cane 's employees at home every Sunday enjoying the company of their family? NOPE. Chic-fil-a 's employees are! Lastly: Cane 's gives EVERYONE the runs. I don 't know anyone who eats there!!!"
