Great atmosphere in the morning, excellent service from the staff but the portions were surprisingly small and although well cooked, quite plain.

Exceptional team accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for a large party of guests. Flexible around timings and changes and were able to calmly go with the flow. Chefs were exceptional as were the waiting team all evening. Will be returning.

for groups of 10 to 20 there are two private rooms available for hire. The friendly waitress made excellent recommendations for menu items. Service was prompt as we were doing a corporate lunch. I recommend the crab and seafood linguini , it is a tomato-based one that is a little spicy and well balanced. View menu

We booked a room for a work Xmas meal, the room was amazing and the place itself is a real gem. We were a bit disappointed by the beer/ale options (no cask, no guinness, two or three beers that weren't in bottles) but honestly that's the only real gripe thanks to all the staff, they were amazing. Will come back next year!

Absolute shocker today medium rare ribeye stake burnt and medium cold lumpy mash potato creamy spinach with grated cheese really asked for a lemon to squeeze over spinach never came very poor to say the least would have complained and sent it back if not for entertaining a customer the bill came quick enough 0 stars poor service gone way down hill

Seated, they had no record of my booking. Sat for 20 mins, not offered a drink. We asked for a drink and had to ask for a menu. After a further 10 minutes we received our coffee and was told that if we want breakfast it would be an extremely long wait as they are serving a large group at the back of the restaurant and they only have one working hob. Visited for the first time last week for a client meeting at 11am. When the meeting finished I had 2 hours until my next meeting so stayed for lunch. The atmosphere was so friendly and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. It was obvious that this place is a favourite for many people. The food was also outstanding! Really couldn’t have asked for more. I’m often in London visiting clients and will now always go to Davey’s for those meetings, whether it be just a mid morning coffee or client lunch. Thank you!

I organised a wine tasting event here as our teambuilding activity, and it was such a great experience. Our team loved it! The boardroom was special cosy, the wines and meal great, and the winetasting program was super, huge thanks to the lady leading it. She explained about the wines and the region- production differences (along with her italian colleague) and she had such a vibrant personality which was the extra bonus in this night. Price was also fair and very transparent. Organisation was smooth with sales, thank you again! Would come back again when visiting London.

I've been going to Davy's establishments since 1984, and to this venue for years as it is a good position for a decent business breakfast. However, today's experience has incensed me. The fancy Twining's teabag just doesn't hit the spot, it doesn't deliver a decent morning cuppa, so today I asked for two teabags in my teapot. I had two pots. When the bill came up I had been charged for four. When I queried the bill the waitress told me that the manager had told her to charge double. There was no intervention at the point of order and explanation that a menu variation need a price adjustment.
