"Attended a meeting nearby so decided to take lunch here. Booking all in order as it’s very busy best to book in advance to secure a table. Excellent menu with great choice. Settled for the chicken schnitzel for the main course which was excellent. Double expresso following to ensure alertness in the afternoon. Great for business lunches. Good ambiance and WiFi if you need it. Seating is perhaps more formal to the rear of the restaurant. Has vegetarian and vegan specials. Good selection of wines also available by the glass. Excellent service with attentive waiters. Prices less than most in the neighbourhood."

We booked a table for 8 and got the boardroom which was perfect. Great service from attentive staff good food not great) but good delivery. We were never rushed even as the last people to leave The only negative was the lack of labelling of Gluten Free no excuses just poor but the wine was great as was the beer.

Six of us had a delayed Christmas lunch because of train strikes, so we had to reschedule three times. Davys transferred our booking and deposit without any issues. We had a private dining area, which was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the wine list was also great.

Out with a client and we went to Davy’s. I had never been before and was delighted to give it a try. Our waitress was really friendly and hospitable, answering all our questions about the menu and making a few great recommendations. We had a superb meal and thoroughly pleasant evening. I found the menu generally unappealing. The smoked salmon I had with cremefraiche, crispy capers and melba toast was generous and of good quality and the wine selection was great at the reasonable price end. Service was inattentive and I couldn’t catch anyone’s eye to get the bill so went to the bar to pay. I wouldn’t rush back.

My family of 7 had dinner at this restaurant on a Friday night. It was very quiet, but it didn't affect our experience. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, especially with my elderly mother. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious, accompanied by flowing wine. Overall, we would not hesitate to return to this wonderful restaurant.
