"The menu at Habit was basic and limited, and we opted for the crab toast to start. While the dish was visually unappealing due to its grey color, the taste was not unpleasant although the fennel overpowered the avocado. Our main course of fish and thrice cooked chips was satisfactory, but the chips were soggy and lacked the desired crispiness. The mushy peas, although flavorful, had an unnatural bright green hue.
Service at Habit was efficient and friendly, perhaps compensating for the lack of ambience. The total bill, which included a glass of wine each, was reasonable at £50. However, I believe there are better dining options available for a similar price. I hope Davy's will improve the quality of their food and enhance the overall atmosphere to attract more customers and regain the popularity they once held in the 1980s."
