"The restuant looks attractive both from outsode and inside. Had a lovely atmosphere and the service and staff were professional and great at their work. Had a breakfast and ordered the shakshuka and tofu scramble. Waiting time for food to arrive was reasonable. Food was prepared well and hot as expected. Taste for both dishes was around average and had to add tobasco and ketchup to add some flavour. Coffee was also well presented but tasted very bitter even after adding sugar. Menu was fairly limited too. Washroom facilities were nice and clean and well maintained. Paid almost £30 for the 2 dishes and a coffee."

Nice atmosphere, only 1 out of 4 beers on tap available but food was nice (scotch egg) and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely place and friendly staff. However their food was disappointing. Poached eggs were undercooked and avocado bed was made of guacamole rather than chopped avocado. It wasn't cheap either at £12, given the quality of the dish. Service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill.

The Full English breakfast is far from “full” but I was willing to let that slide. The real issue was the extremely slow service, which turned into non-existent service on my second visit. I wish I was kidding when I say that we sat there for 1 hour waiting for coffee that we had ordered until eventually giving up and leaving. Safe to say I will not be coming back again.

This is a nice British bar in Russell Square and is part of a hotel. It has British cusine and serves some really nice cocktails. The staff is quite helpful and friendly. The bar itself is quite big and spacious, has lots of seating space. The only drawback for me personally was, that the menu was quite small. It would have been nice to have a large selection of food or drinks. View menu

Breakfast service was quite slow and the server was inattentive. Waited over ten minutes to order despite there being only two other parties present. I had to ask multiple times for water that I only received when I requested from another passing server. Food arrived cold and bland, although the coffee was nice. The host who greeted me was lovely and very inviting, but the rest of the experience was unfortunately disappointing.

I had a lovely evening yesterday with my friend. The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the truffle fries and the eggs with peppers and toast as well as the avocado toast. If you order tea, note that the teapots are very small, not really fit to share. Our waitress Julia was amazing, very friendly and helpful, she helped us find a new table when the DJ's music was too loud and came to check up on us multiple times. Her service was impeccable and she did everything to make us feel comfortable.
