". the cocktails were good and they always come with drinks to make sure they are worth the gelder. the food was excellent and most of our table ordered the mac daddy burger and raved over it! the personal was excellent, attentive and friendly"

"Looking forward to my first visit, I was very disappointed. Waiter couldnt understand me so I changed my order so he understood. Chicken burger came out cold, sent it back, new one came out colder! Fries were dried out, over cooked and cold too! Fed...up trying to communicate with waiter so didn't order anything else. Table grubby, and decor too, pictures on wall around us were filthy, splashed with food. Didn't make me very confident of hygiene so didn't want to send anything else back. Went to toilet, and again grubby, pictures too were splashed with filth. Awful place, won't ever go back."

"the carnaby street makes the events always and then we use a newer for a cheaper (cough, bargain) dinner at dirty bones. there are three bige of dirty bones in carnaby, soho and shoreditch. her menu is new york style eating American comfort, so it was one I had my eye for some time. Also, I love the carnaby street area, it is a nice little retreat from the mass and tourist traps. what have we ordered? we had a lot of fried chicken, the bark short nativity and truffle friars. the short nativity should have been an salate. but we were happy with our error order, and it was my favorite of the table. the BBQ sauce on the ribs is aromatized by salted caramel and burnt bevel, so they know that there are some delicious sweet notes. the fried chicken fell a bit flatter, which was disappointed as one of the things we were most happy."

"I met up with a friend for dinner and drinks at a restaurant she chose for its American food and theme. The entrance is located on the corner of Club Row and Bethnal Green Road. When you walk in past the curtained entrance, you are greeted by a reception desk and a DJ stand playing hip hop music, setting the mood. I was seated at my table while waiting for my friend to arrive. I ordered a mocktail strawberry Daiquiri and a lemonade, and the waitress was friendly. Once my friend arrived, she ordered a Gin and Tonic. The menu was simple, just one page. I ordered the cheeseburger dumplings, Cheesy Truffle fries, and The Mac Daddy burger, while my friend ordered the Mac balls and chicken and waffles. The food was flavorful and delicious. The Cheesy Truffle fries were unexpectedly delicious, earning a rating of 4/5. The Cheeseburger dumplings were rated 3.5/5 and The Mac Daddy burger got a 4/5. My friend rated her Mac balls at 3.5/5 and the chicken and waffles at 4/5. If you're looking for a taste of American NYC-style food and atmosphere in Shoreditch, I recommend stopping by this restaurant. It's worth a visit."

"Food was served lukewarm; I had the fried chicken on waffles. The coating was not as crispy as expected and served on half a waffle which arrived lukewarm. While they brought our coffees out quickly, it took nearly 40 minutes for our mains to come after our starters had been cleared away. The waitress who cleared our table after the starters thought we had finished eating and I had to tel her twice that we were still waiting for our mains. When we finished our meal, she cleared the plates directly over me instead of from the side. Because of that and the way she stacked the plates, she dripped maple syrup all over my top and continued to stand there even when I asked her to move because she didn’t realise she was dripping syrup over my clothes. She just seemed away with the fairies. Unimpressed and won’t be returning."

"I don't think I've enjoyed food this much in along time. The menu at Kricket is exceptional, catering to both meat livers and veggie livers alike. The flavours are so amazing that you'd be satisfied on a smaller amount of food. Everything we tried was delicious but the samphire pakoras and Date pistachio kulfa was extraordinary. I visit here every time I'm in London and I'm.already looking forward to my next trip. Well worth a try as you won't be disappointed."

"Have visited a few times. Food good for restaurant type fast food. Atmosphere better in evenings. Staff are not happy to be working there, nor are they attentive. Also they tend to squish people into tables next to one another, even though the rest of the restaurant is empty. It isn't a big place so I can't see why there is a need to do that. It makes people uncomfortable."
