"I visited this restaurant on Friday evening with some friends and had a wonderful time. When we first walked in, I was a bit concerned as it seemed crowded with people standing around, but we found a cozy back area with couches where we could sit. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The drinks were also on happy hour from 5pm-10pm, which was a great deal. We then moved upstairs to our reserved table for dinner. The upstairs area had a more relaxed and chilled vibe. We ordered 9 tapas plates for the three of us and the food was delicious. Downstairs, there was a DJ playing music and on weekends there is a Flamenco performance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for after work drinks or a meal."

"a beautiful weinbar, in which I actually sit a latte on a Monday afternoon outside, where they have heated lamps and stylish outdoor furniture: the latte is tasty, but small and not the best value for money. £6.45 for a pot tee and a latte, and they don't get any cookies with the tee! I'm here before it gets busy as I suspect that people visit el vino friends drink wein (it's predominantly a weeping, and very swung inside it is a nice lively, stylish relaxed atmosphere to fit with the decor! so the whole round expensive and the time to visit when they are ready to pay out, or as one of maybe, and want to enjoy: I am only here for a coffee and needed the cover of the sunshade and heated to have a coffee and a smoke, as it rains"

"We had made a reservation weeks in advance for our trip, only to find upon arrival that the restaurant was closed until January 3rd. Despite receiving a confirmation request from OpenTable, I also got an email mentioning the importance of canceling if we weren't going to dine due to the tough times for restaurants dealing with no-shows. Confused, I tried calling but received no answer. I went to the restaurant and found the closed sign to be true. I even checked for another location or a second floor, but to no avail. With no dinner plans, I had to scramble to find another option. Despite all the confusion and frustration, I found it humorous that I still received 100 points and a request for a review. Lol."

"I would recommend ElVino to friends. The booze is good, the food is fine and the ambience was very good as it was near Christmas. However the service was inattentive as it took us ages to get served despite only a few diners being in. Worst of all by far was the fact that our booking wasn’t in the booking book, due to Open Table not updating the restaurant. This is totally unacceptable. So would I recommend El Vino, yes. Would I ever use Open Table again, absolutely not unless something changes and I will let others know to do the same."

"I hadn’t made a reservation, even though I was on my phone. They initially showed me to a high table, but when I explained that I preferred a regular table closer to the floor, they accommodated my request. Despite a large chalkboard displaying the menu, we were informed that the kitchen wouldn’t open until 6:30. When we inquired about the delay, the staff simply apologized, but I couldn't understand why a cheeseboard and a cold meat platter required a chef, especially at 6:30 when we were ready to eat. In such situations, I would expect at least a hint of friendliness to make the wait more bearable, but the staff’s complete indifference was disappointing and left a bad impression."
