"Now here's the dilemma, otherwise a 5* experience. The food was amazing, some of the smoothest sausages I haven't ever eaten for breakfast, but we had an incident with the waiter and our espressos. My colleague and I have many years (over 30 each) of experience in the hospitality industry and one should never argue with a diner, regardless. It was a little unprofessional especially when he could see we knew what we were talking about. Went to Cecconis shortly after and had a correct double espresso."

"No doubt about it the food is first rate. Expertly cooked and well seasoned. The service is not what one would expect at a restaurant of this level (e.g. having to ask for wine list or water refill). Retaining qualified staff is challenging but the top restaurants manage that. Glass all around and close tables make for a loud and crowded environment but ambiance is clearly not a priority. If you only go for the food and not the experience it’s fine."
