"Customer service was superb, I had ordered of uber eats and had left out some information about my order by accident. I was then called and told that they were out of my selected drink and asked if there was any replacements I would like which is very appreciated instead of just handing me a random one. Due to me leaving out some information they asked what I would like in my burger, phone operator was extremely polite. The food itself was ok, the kebab meat was very tasty and the salad tasted fresh, the chicken burger was near perfect. The only negative comment I have to make is the chips, I feel like they could have maybe been cooked a little longer and then it would have been 5 stars, but the chips were still edible so I cant really complain. Prices are average for the local area and the portions are value for money, delivery driver was very polite and the packaging was neat and presentable, very quick delivery time seeing as it's the restaurant that delivers and not an uber driver Over all a 4.5/5 would recommend"

"This restaurant has really gone downhill over the years. The hygiene is lacking, which is a shame because the host was very hospitable. Once seated, we were handed menus which were dirty and sticky. Ordered the drinks, they came in glasses which were marked and sticky down the side. The drink was room temperature flat pop. The food that came didn’t taste bad, but it certainly wasn’t “good”. Very small portion of rice which the curry drowned if you were to pour it all on your plate. Bread was burnt and tasteless. Went to the men’s bathroom by mistake, my god it was stinking. Stunk of urine and it was dirty! I was disgusted by the soap on the sink, how they thought it was ok to leave this filthy black god knows how old bar of soap there for customers. Whole place needs a good bleaching! They’re meant to be rated 4 by the food standards agency but it needs updating!"

"I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. After a grueling workout at the gym, I was eager to try the mixed grill. It was incredibly tasty, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. "If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered tandoori chicken, which was good, alongside garlic naan and butter chicken (we said balti chicken on the phone but ended up getting butter chicken). The butter chicken was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! IT IS LIKE THEY ADDED 100 GRAMS OF SUGAR TO THE CURRY AFTER MAKING IT. I could not eat the curry as a result of the sweetness and had to throw it away. Service was appalling too. We called them over the phone to ask for a refund or for a replacement balti chicken curry without the sugar. They refused to do so. WORST TAKEAWAY EXPERIENCE EVER AND THE WORST TAKEAWAY SHOP IN READING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"

"We came here for our group Christmas meal, as a party of 21, so it was never going to be perfect. The table was not fully laid when we arrived, and we needed to ask for cutlery. They forgot one person's drink. They did not have the range of beers listed on their website. Getting tap water was not easy. They assured me that it would only take about 20 minutes to cook the food if we had everyone's order together when we arrived (which we did). It was about 20 minutes after we had all finished our poppadoms before the main dishes arrived, which was not how I interpretted what they had said. The toilets had not been cleaned that morning. The first person to use the toilets from our party had to find the lights themselves. The food was good, but it took a long time for them to get everyone's meals to the table. The only positive was that they gave us 50% off the food bill, so the bill was very reasonable."
