Juicy char-grilled chicken served with a smoky finish, seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor.

"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? Not Sure 2) No chutneys or sauces are available for starters 3) Taste wise, the items are not close to Authentic Indian dishes 4) Shocked to see that there is no Dessert item Overall Food Rating: 2 out of 5 We strongly Believe that This Restaurant is. NOT TO TRY"

"Pace of service was a little slow possibly due to it being busy in run up to christmas but it was worth for the wait as the food was excellent. Shampan offers a number of dishes that are different to your typical local Indian restaurant including some well thought out fish/prawn main courses. Their lamb is always top quality and spicing is layered without the heavy chilli kick sometimes prevalent. All in all it is a little more expensive but much higher quality than the norm."

"Salsa! is probably my favourite Latin American restaurant in the centre of London as their excellent cocktails, fantastic food and enchanting salsa rhythms are more than enough to get you marching to their beat. The bar and restaurant can be found underground via an aged wooden staircase. The walls are teaming with Latin American memorabilia and the rustic wooden decor makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a salsa bar in the heart of Spain. The fajitas were very filling and mine was served with succulent chicken breast marinated with Latin American herbs and spices along with diced onions, chillies and peppers. The cocktails here, while also very nice, offered little variation...read more"

"We had a family dinner on a busy Saturday night. Service was exemplary, despite the fact they were clearly very understaffed and very busy, our orders were taken promptly and efficiently and food and drinks delivered quickly. The food itself was a mixed bag. The lamb was excellent, the seasonal veg very tasty. The gammon was reasonable but the chips were overcooked and oily. What ruined the evening was the horrendous noise of the kitchen extractor fans. I appreciate it was a terribly hot evening and the kitchen staff need to not expire, but our table was next to the open kitchen window and the noise both made conversation difficult and was extremely unsettling. We did ask if another table was free but were unable to move. On those grounds, we are unlikely to return. But your staff should be applauded for working so hard under pressure they did a great job."

"Beautiful location, the lounge area is fantastic but we missed it until the end, so we could have enjoyed a coffee there. The restaurant area is nice, however, it could use some twinkly net lights on the stone wall to create a softer ambiance with some additional greenery."

"This is the 2nd time weve been year, the 1st time last year the food was incredible, but we came back this year and the food wasn't the best, the chicken strips were overdone and under seasoned. The mushroom starter was nice though. We got the lamb burger and the halloumi burger for the mains, the halloumi burger was okay, the lamb burger was really overpriced for what it was, literally a lamb mince patty with a bit of riata on top. I cant fault the service though, was great. Just the food wasnt the best, not as good as last time."

"We had a wonderful evening with friends, who were also celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. A joint, informal celebration. We visit the Storyteller two or three times year as we feel we can trust the service, food and drink. This time the food was very good, and the vegetarian options were notable for their variety (not extensive and could be expanded) and quality. The wine list is fine but better to get up and look at their their wine racks. The service was good and the interval between courses well judged. Although the restaurant was busy, the level of background noise was suitable, making it easy to hear and be heard."

"had a nice meal at pecking order. super friendly service and good food. Mac cheese truffle bites were hot, crisp and tasty, and the naked blt had tender, moist chicken, crispy speck, embroidered with a soft poached egg. sweet potato fries as a side tasty. after that I ordered a takeaway for the son of the redisserie of my friend, who was cooked to order, very generous portion size for the chicken (we only ordered a quarter) as well as for the thin liquid pommes that accompanied it. "After reading the reviews online my partner decided to bring me here to celebrate my new job. First impressions were bad, it’s extremely deceptive compared to how it’s pictured on the website, it’s very dark and gloomy, there was no obvious sign outside, especially as we came in the dark so we drove past it twice. The sign outside could do with some light decor. Prior to coming to Mango Room my partner called to book the table and informed them of my new job celebration and had asked the waitress if she could make the table look somewhat fancy/different to the other tables as a surprise for me in which she agreed to doing. When we arrived he asked her where the table was and she said “pick whatever table you want” meaning she completely disregarded his request. After receiving the menu that was broken and looked extremely cheap and flimsy for the prices they charge, I also realised the food was very overpriced. I asked the waitress for the set menu and she said that only gets provided for groups of people over 10. It didn’t state that on the website and can be misconstrued as false advertisement. I can not believe for one small portioned size jerk chicken it cost £13 alone you then have to pay extra for a side which is around 3.50 4.00. When reluctantly ordering the food which was Jerk chicken rice peas, we also requested coleslaw and dumplings, the waitress replied “we don’t do coleslaw or dumplings here, the owner doesn’t like it” ... it’s not about what the owner doesn’t like it’s about your food audience. How can you run a Caribbean restaurant without coleslaw or dumplings? It’s key in West Indian food. I found that to be very obscured. The waitress then said “it’s fine dining, we don’t do that here”... I did not know consuming dumplings and coleslaw meant it was not fine dining. Whilst waiting for my food, I asked for some water the waitress brought out a jug of water which seemed to have a booger stain on the side, very very off putting. When the food eventually came out in which waiting time wasn’t long because the restaurant wasn’t busy, the plates were extremely hot, it seemed as though the chef just reheated/microwaved the rice and peas causing the dish within itself to be piping hot to the point where I couldn’t even hold it and had to messily dish out the rice myself with the small spoon provided. The rice and peas were extremely overcooked and stodgy, there was hardly any gravy with the jerk chicken. The jerk chicken was undercooked, had no flavour whatsoever and did not fall of the bone with basic sweet pepper slice and red onions for decoration. The plantain was extremely undercooked, very burnt on the outside and tasted wet, clumpy and soggy on the inside I’ve never tasted plantain so renk. The waitress did give us complimentary tulip glasses of champagne, which was nice. My partner did say that he enjoyed his curry goat which was very tender, he had that with plain rice. Overall I feel this restaurant is extremely overrated, extortionate and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The only pros were the company I had and leaving. I would’ve much preferred going turtle bay, the atmosphere and decor is so much better and you get your monies worth. Turtle Bay is extremely commercial so this is a huge compliment to them as I’m not too fond of them either."

"I had a pleasant dining experience at Pecking Order. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The mac and cheese truffle bites were hot, crispy, and flavorful, while the Naked BLT had tender, juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and a perfectly poached egg. The sweet potato fries as a side were also very tasty. I also ordered a takeaway Rotisserie chicken for my friend's son, which came in a generous portion size and was cooked to perfection.Overall, a great meal. "
