"Wife's birthday meal. My wife and I wanted a quiet meal away from the hustle and bustle you normally find in around the city, after reading a number of reviews on-line we decided to try The Swan Inn. The meal and service was excellent, nothing felt too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome throughout. As I had read on from peoples reviews the menu does not contain an extensive list of choice however I feel this pub is concentrating on quality in what they do offer rather than quantity. I tried the Lamb, now not being a massive Lamb fan I was sold it from the waiters recommendation/description, I'm glad to say I was not disappointed. My wife had the chicken dish which was equally as good. All in all a lovely meal, great service, reasonable priced which made for a enjoyable evening finished off by sitting on the comfy seats in the bar area. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon."
