"First time ever at a Miller and Carter for me and my Dad, who's birthday it was, and it was a lovely experience! The food was gorgeous and the banoffee pie I had for dessert was my fave yet!! The steaks were really good but...what made it a great experience for me was our server Danielle. She was really knowledgeable about the steak and the menu in general and was really friendly and smiley. Good service makes all the difference. Thank you! Definitely a treat. Hope to visit again soon."

"Ordered at 4pm (hardly a busy time) and it arrived 2.5 hour later despite us calling them several times to chase them and repeatedly being asured it was on its way and shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes more..an hour and a half later we were til waiting. When it eventually turned up, the driver offered no apology and the food was cold. We gave them a very reasonable discount in light of the poor food and service and politely said good bye. The driver called my wife and threatened her. Simply awful..avoid like the plague!"

"My wife and I looked for a local Mexican dinner for a Saturday night, and we found this lovely place. Even though we hadn't reserved in advance and the restaurant was fully booked, they were so kind to accept us. We ordered Fajitas, nachos and prawns in garlic sauce. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I tried a lot of nachos in different places, but this one was the best so far. The staff and the owner was friendly as well. Unfortunately, my wife forgot her bag at the restaurant when we left, with all the cards driving license, and she didn't even realise it afterwards. In the night, we had the door knocked and were surprised to see the owner at the door with the bag! He was so kind to bring it to our place! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back again!"

"Me and my friend went for dinner last Monday,the waiter was so far not interested to do his job,or he might not know how to do it,He just damp my cuttleries on the table when there was a table napkin for this purpose.We both had prawns as a main and garlic bread which was amazing, and cannolo so called siciliano(but only the shape would remind you of that) which was soggy an tasteless,and trust me I know what I'm saying about cannolo being sicilian.Later my husband join us and he ordered spaghetti carbonara which was made with bacon,no black pepper....and again his cuttleries was damped on the table without even being wiped after we had dinner and was some sauces .When we asked for the bill they told me they can't give me a printed bill,just an old fashioned hand written bill on 2024.I gave the 3 stars o ly for the amazing prawns and garlic bread taste,nothing else."

"I and my family have been regularly in the hawes for many years and is a firm favorite of my Canadian family when they visit. five of us visited last night and we were all disappointed about the service that was painfully slow. we had to ask three times for our drinks. our eating took an old and two of our group had almost her head before the rest of us even had our meal before us. we decided that it will take too long to order desserts and some had baileys and I as a driver ordered a cappuccino. again, that was waiting long. my coffee was hardly warm, had no cappuccino frit and could not even melt a sugar cube. I was embarrassed that I had taken four friends to dinner, and each of us is very disappointed and extremely underwhelmed to say the least! a beautiful renovation of the spatial areas was removed from a bad, bad service. I would also like to add, there is not a pasta dish on the menu that I find a little incredible and I was told that I could not order a ceaser salat, as it was served only for lunch, so an salat was also not an option. very disappointed to say the least."

"excellent dining experience” 5 out of 5 stars rated on 15 november 2013 new although it is ideal for a pre-theater menu when they visit the hippodrome, eating in milano is worthy to take over the time because it is very good in the did. the menu offers a great choice regarding the price including a fixed tariff pre-theatre that my partner enjoyed very much. as glutton I could not resist the daily special of lobster linguine and I cannot resist that milano was from a generous amount and high quality; both courses were delicious. the tables are beautifully designed and the service is friendly and attentive. I have absolutely no criticism to make (I didn't like the desserts, but I don't like Italian desserts and can hardly blame them for being authentic! . as a pre-oper menu (especially if the opera is Italian! "I was at Little Georgia Islington today, at table 8. The experience was fantastic: from the moment we walked in, they welcomed us warmly, even though the restaurant was full and there were no bookings. The food is delicious: everything is prepared in the restaurant including the bread. The seasoning is excellent, it makes you leave London straight for Georgia. Authentic food, extremely friendly staff, restaurant decorated with posters of classic Georgian films. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to savour authentic Georgian cuisine. The wine list is vast, but I opted for a Georgian beer to get to know it. It was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last. The prices are fair for the quality, service and atmosphere."

"The fish pie and steak pie was delicious. The girl taking our drink orders was absolutely terrible. I asked for a Tanqueray and slimline tonic and she looked at me as if I had two heads! I eventually just asked her for a Bombay and slimline but she brought a regular tonic. My husband ordered a pint of diet Pepsi and she brought a small bottle of regular Pepsi! There was a young man who came over a few times to check on us and brought our food...he was much better as he brought us refills of correct drinks ordered."

"we were in don beni manly in winkfield and thought we would try eton. only I and my wife sat in the window, beautiful sitting. no starter, I ordered the sirloin steak, my wife pasta. my wife loved her pasta absolutely. I cut into my...Steak (as medium crossed) and was well done. I have the waiter over, I said, "I don't want to complain, but I'm sorry I asked about this medium," which shows him the steak. he replied, “Do you want me to cook it a little more?” at this point I knew I was in trouble. I said, "No thanks, you can show the cook and ask him what he thinks." at the place he goes away with the teller and shows the chef, a minute later returns and says: "the chef says that there should be no blood on a middle steak and that is how it should be". I'll let them be judges of these pictures, what a middle steak should be. it was gum, I ate it was hungry not want to argue and cause a fuss. I know I should probably."

"Downgraded this restaurant after a disastrous meal a couple of weeks back missing starters, main course that took an hour, waitress who kept misleading us it’s coming ! When she hadn’t even checked and the kitchen had lost the order) manager knocked £20 off of £170 bill for 4. Little more than paying lip service to customer satisfaction will NOT RETURN. An AWFUL experience EDIT : try again? no thanks not going to risk £170 for 4 for another below par meal will wait for Per Tutti to open. AVOID Avoided this place since an awful awful meal thank goodness for Per Tutti . Had a really good meal here last week even by 7pm the restaurant was half full and jammed by 8pm! I had the beef ragu to start followed by chargrilled chicken breast with Rissoto as did 3 out of the 4 of us) great service, great food"

The highlight was the slow roast belly pork, which received high praise. "We visited on my birthday on Sunday, encouraged by the reviews confirming good vegan options (I am vegan and dairy intolerant). I asked the young woman serving if their chai latte could be made vegan, and she confirmed that yes, they could make it with oat milk. My partner ordered a regular cappuccino, and we took both away. About 10 minutes after starting my drink I started to feel very queasy, which developed into sickness for the rest of my birthday and also the next day. Really really disappointed, as either the waitress doesn't have the knowledge of the ingredients or the wherewithal to find out, or during making of the drink there was significant cross contamination."

"The food at this restaurant was average, but our dining experience was marred by an incident in the open kitchen. We were seated right next to the pass and observed the chef using a dirty tea towel to wipe surfaces and plates. Some diners complained and the chef reacted by shouting and swearing at the customers. Eventually, he stormed out after a heated argument. The young staff tried to apologize for his behavior, but it was clear that there was no one in charge. We appreciated that 20% was deducted from our bill, but unfortunately we will not be returning to Trefnant."

Ask for the soup of the day for an unusual but spot on combination.try and avoid the complimentary bread and olives if you don 't want to be too full before the main meal arrives! These are not small dieters portions, so ask for a small helping if you 're worried about that kind of thing. There are no pretences or frills, this is trattoria styling with full blown flavours of Italy. The warm welcome you get from the owners is unequalled in any other Aberdeen restaurant of this ilk. Minimal improvements could be made to the baby changing toilet facilities and maybe by stocking some prosecco this restaurant would be 100% splendid. But the food could not get any better. Try, try and try again"
