"First time ever at a Miller and Carter for me and my Dad, who's birthday it was, and it was a lovely experience! The food was gorgeous and the banoffee pie I had for dessert was my fave yet!! The steaks were really good but...what made it a great experience for me was our server Danielle. She was really knowledgeable about the steak and the menu in general and was really friendly and smiley. Good service makes all the difference. Thank you! Definitely a treat. "really fresh, not too oily. brinjal bhaji had a fresh and healthy green tint. lamb naga was not extremely hot, but the aromen were great and again the sose was super fresh! it was a real step out of other Indians I had. they also contained 3 spices and a popodom free. the delivery driver had arrived nice and polite and before expectation (not so fast that I doubted the cooking time.) take away my new fav! when ordering, they can add extras to their curry; for example, they can add ananas, additional chilis or even butternut quash to their main dish. this place really impressed me and I am a big fan of great curry. "My wife and I looked for a local Mexican dinner for a Saturday night, and we found this lovely place. Even though we hadn't reserved in advance and the restaurant was fully booked, they were so kind to accept us. We ordered Fajitas, nachos and prawns in garlic sauce. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I tried a lot of nachos in different places, but this one was the best so far. The staff and the owner was friendly as well. Unfortunately, my wife forgot her bag at the restaurant when we left, with all the cards driving license, and she didn't even realise it afterwards. In the night, we had the door knocked and were surprised to see the owner at the door with the bag! He was so kind to bring it to our place! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back again!"

"My taxi was late despite a pre booking so I rang The Fork and a lovely girl said not to worry and that they would keep the table for me. When I eventually arrived another female appeared to be struggling with the computer so I enquired. She had noticed my walker and the table reserved for me was up a couple of steps so she was looking where she could change the location. I reassured her that I could manage a couple of small steps. So she took me to the table checking I was sure I could manage and, as it was a carvery meal, said just to shout to get someone to carry the plate up. I had no trouble getting another waitress to carry my plate to the table and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The girl I'd spoken to on the phone asked me if my taxi arrived so I said I'd jumped into one vacated by another resident and cancelled my original booking. ???? I had dessert and then the bill and then mobile card machine so everything was perfect for me. Thank you ????"

"excellent dining experience” 5 out of 5 stars rated on 15 november 2013 new although it is ideal for a pre-theater menu when they visit the hippodrome, eating in milano is worthy to take over the time because it is very good in the did. the menu offers a great choice regarding the price including a fixed tariff pre-theatre that my partner enjoyed very much. as glutton I could not resist the daily special of lobster linguine and I cannot resist that milano was from a generous amount and high quality; both courses were delicious. the tables are beautifully designed and the service is friendly and attentive. I have absolutely no criticism to make (I didn't like the desserts, but I don't like Italian desserts and can hardly blame them for being authentic! . as a pre-oper menu (especially if the opera is Italian! "It was delicious, a lot of garlic and pepper in the dishes. There were 4 of us girls, we booked a table in advance. At the end, we were offered dessert and a bottle of wine again, but we were full and asked to add 1 dish, which we practically didn’t touch (tasty and filling). And then they simply kicked us out, abruptly removed everything from the table, but did not snatch the glasses of wine from our hands with wine in them (and thank you for that), they put a bag of food in the center of the table, they again told us to clear the table, there was no wine yet It was finished. And for the third time, a cafe employee came up to us and for the third time told us to leave because other people were waiting, although the tables in the restaurant were always freed up. While getting dressed, we finished our wine and were gone. It was very strange. Still, it is not the visitors’ fault that the manager did not calculate the table reservation time and there was an overlap. Although there were enough empty tables in the establishment. In general, some kind of inhospitable game."

"Went for the first time last night. Was served by the ever attentive Keeley. Parking plenty. Greeting staff Smart and polite. Ambiance buzzing. Mary Poppins'o'meter Spick and span. Space at the table perfect. I'm the awkward one that likes it all as plain as can be, no salad, no added shizzle and just as I like it. So went for a 16oz Ribeye with the triple fried chunky chips. Medium Rare was the cooking instruction Keeley recommended Medium (which is perfect for Ribeye). They completely and absolutely nailed it. A simple and easy Steak and Chips. The rest of the table all received belting meals too. I would have liked to have seen the following to make my perfect meal: BBQ Sauce Tomato Sauce Feta Cheese Baked Beans. But that's just my own personal preference. Glad we went and we're going back extremely soon."

"we visited here in the january and eating was brilliant. we were served by those I can only assume that the manager on the basis of the various uniforms. he seemed very impatient with us as if he had no time. we had to ask for cutlery, that seemed to be a chore, including a spicy. the vegan food dish lacked 3 items and we politely asked why we said they were sold out of these items. but you should have said that if we ordered it? overall our meal times were delicious only a scandal that we received bad service."

"I and my family have been regularly in the hawes for many years and is a firm favorite of my Canadian family when they visit. five of us visited last night and we were all disappointed about the service that was painfully slow. we had to ask three times for our drinks. our eating took an old and two of our group had almost her head before the rest of us even had our meal before us. we decided that it will take too long to order desserts and some had baileys and I as a driver ordered a cappuccino. again, that was waiting long. my coffee was hardly warm, had no cappuccino frit and could not even melt a sugar cube. I was embarrassed that I had taken four friends to dinner, and each of us is very disappointed and extremely underwhelmed to say the least! a beautiful renovation of the spatial areas was removed from a bad, bad service. I would also like to add, there is not a pasta dish on the menu that I find a little incredible and I was told that I could not order a ceaser salat, as it was served only for lunch, so an salat was also not an option. very disappointed to say the least."

The highlight was the slow roast belly pork, which received high praise. "We've talked about going to Mi Amore for years. Glad we finally went. The ambiance and atmosphere was really good. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We started with the House Pate and King Prawns with cherry tomatoes garlic in a red pesto and tomato sauce. The Pate came with a salad and 3 decent sized toasted ciabatta. Ample pate for the 3 slices of ciabatta and it was enjoyed. Initially I thought my prawn dish was far too salty until I introduced the Garlic ciabatta it came with, to the sauce and the balance was almost perfect. Mains of Ravioli Porcini Prime Fillet Steak. The ravioli and sauce was really nice and my partner would recommend it. The fillet steak was served with crispy roast potatoes a confit tomato, 3 mushrooms and roast veg. The steak was very nice and tender. The roast tatties were really crispy and worked well. The confit tomato was lovely and the mushrooms were tender and tasty. The roast veg was slightly underdone for my taste, but did not take anything away from the dish. My partner decided on having a Latte only, which she enjoyed. I had the Dolce Al Caramello for desert. A sponge pudding with a creamy caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. The sponge was light and the caramel sauce was a delight and worked really well, as did the fruit and cream it was served with and 2 Rossini chocolate curls. With 2 pints of Birra Moretti, 1 Soda Water Lime and 1 Blue Wkd came to under £80 which we thought was very reasonable and we can't wait to return."

"I've eaten in Zizi's lots of times and have never had a meal like this. I had a pasta which was served luke warm and the sauce just tasted like a can of chicken soup! My partner had a salad and the leaves we're old and past there best. although the waiter did take the cost of the salad off the bill, I still feel it was a waste of money paying for everything else and spoilt our evening. Such a shame!"

"This is going to be a short one because if I tell you all the great things about this restaurant, it would be less a review than a book of Dickensesque proportions! A lovely restaurant in a lovely building in a lovely town. The staff are professional and friendly; we were certainly well looked after. The food is wonderful, traditional Italian fare for the most part, cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I can highly recommend the Linguine Ravello, a perfect amalgam of king prawns, muscles, et al, a fantastic seafood dish. The other dishes are perfection too. You like rich meaty lasagna? One of the best I have had. The ravioli of the day? A wonder whatever the filling. And don't get me started on the profiteroles! All in all, a constant delight. If you haven't guessed, this is highly recommended."
