"we visited a second time as our first was fabulous. Unfortunately, this time it wasn't so good to eat. my partner ordered the flat iron steak with chips, the steak was ok, but the chips were made bog standard, while before were nice chunky three times boiled hand cut. my friend and I had the lammkur that was so salty and the rice was very dry. there was a pretty gap between the first and the most important courses, so I asked if there was a problem to say that they were only busy. we were offered half an prise beer, which I thought was acceptable. it is a shame when we recommended it to our friends with whom we went. the pub itself is beautiful with large outside space and a terrace. I would drink there as they have a great choice of beer, but not sure if I would eat again"
