"I was pretty pleased with my meal here. The staff were efficient and our order was taken and brought out to us in good time. The food was nice. I had a chicken burger for my main which was good but could have done with more fries on the side as the price was probably at the higher end of what you would want to pay. Had a waffle for pud and certainly can't complain about the portion size of this, however it was a bit hard. Good experience overall but I would say the prices are a bit on the high side and expect a 20% gratuity added on to the bill which should be optional, especially with a table of 3!"

"Popped in today before the cinema decided to try it due to offer for being Unlimited Card holders. Despite being local for many years, we had never visited and were not sure what to expect, but I am pleased to say it was a really enjoyable visit. I had the American Melt (chicken schnitzel) and my partner had a cheese and bacon burger. The food was tasty, well presented, good portion size and fresh tasting. The decor of the restaurant is very well done, really pleasant surroundings and ambience. The service was also excellent. Dani hosted us on our way in, and we were also served by a fellow with a beard, who I think I was a member of Management. Their interactions were sincere, warm and we also had a good chat at the end about our perceptions as first time visitors, and he clearly cared greatly about the business and delivering a good experience. Could not fault it and will definitely be back and spead the word far surpasses the other offering by the cinema here. Thanks Coast to Coast!"

"A group of seven who pre ordered ate here last night. The place had a nice atmosphere and great decor. Not particularly busy for a Friday night. The food was tasty and portions fairly generous. The presentation of the food was not great. Its is a pricey place to visit but not bad if you manage to get a deal. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately our bill was wrong we were charged for meals we hadn't had. The error was rectified but it did take a fair while to sort! I will return but not if I had to pay full price."

"My partner and I each ordered a traditional English breakfast at this restaurant and we were very pleased with the generous portion sizes. The food was delicious, and the coffee was also fantastic, especially considering the reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Although the decor could use a bit of updating with a fresh coat of paint and some newer furniture, it wouldn't deter us from coming back again. Overall, a great experience."

"Please ignore the reference to Mother Kelly’s as this place appears to have changed hands and is nowhere near M K’s standards. We always make a post Christmas trip down to Porchester Castle and have bought fish and chips here for many years. This year...however, we were very disappointed. Although my fish was good (mainly because they had to cook it specially) my daughters fish was over cooked, my sons battered sausage had little batter on it and all our chips were undercooked and raw in the middle. We’d have taken them back if we hadn’t already left to eat them elsewhere. I suggest that Mother Kelly removes her name from this place very soon or this kind of review might affect her business which has now moved elsewhere. The service wasn’t great either… A welcoming smile goes a long way to making one feel like a valid customer."

"I wasn't even aware that this place, just went around to find some local food, and how happy I was to see the sign. pie was tasty, mashed was tasty creamy, liqueur sauce was a bit bland, but working together with the pie and...mashed eel is something else. I liked it. but I can see it's not every cuppa. but if you like to deal with fish, they simply go for it, even for the sake of experience. who knows. you like it. the man and the woman behind the switch were really friendly. I asked for anal, macular and cake. the young lady asked me if I ever had aale (probably because of the bones), and when I asked about gravur, she said: no scarlet, they want with their aalen alcohol! (It is, of course, right). I traveled easily, so I could not go home their products (killy oil and such). but the cold oil tastes with the aal (they have it on every table), anyway, will go back there when I visit london next time."

"We were expecting a quality fish and chip restaurant in the vein of Harry Ramsden. The seating and waitress service was fine but the food was very ordinary. Freshly cooked restaurant chips should be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside they were neither. Also, plates need to be large enough for the food. Plaice should be served alongside chips not on top of them due to lack of space. The waitress was very pleasant, polite and friendly but ambience was zero. I would not be able to recommend Deep Blue in Norwich to a friend for fear of the comeback."

"I used to frequent this bakery at least twice a week and have always enjoyed it. I often bring friends and family here as well. The staff are not as friendly as I had hoped, but I can overlook that. The quality of the food can be hit or miss - some days good, some days horrible. Unfortunately, during my latest visit, the roll I ordered was hard and had a horrible taste. I was very disappointed, especially since I had a similar experience during my previous visit. I used to enjoy the food here, but I don't think I will be returning. I typically spend between £15 to £25 each visit. It's a shame, but I guess all good things must come to an end."
