"I wasn't even aware that this place, just went around to find some local food, and how happy I was to see the sign. pie was tasty, mashed was tasty creamy, liqueur sauce was a bit bland, but working together with the pie and...mashed eel is something else. I liked it. but I can see it's not every cuppa. but if you like to deal with fish, they simply go for it, even for the sake of experience. who knows. you like it. the man and the woman behind the switch were really friendly. I asked for anal, macular and cake. the young lady asked me if I ever had aale (probably because of the bones), and when I asked about gravur, she said: no scarlet, they want with their aalen alcohol! (It is, of course, right). I traveled easily, so I could not go home their products (killy oil and such). but the cold oil tastes with the aal (they have it on every table), anyway, will go back there when I visit london next time."

I had an unforgettable experience at this place in Greenwich! I had never tried traditional English pie before, and I absolutely loved it.

For those visiting London, it is definitely worth making the trip to Greenwich. Take the DLR along the Thames River Line to explore the charming antique shops, the historic Cutty Sark, and the Maritime Museum.

the staff was great, very friendly and helpful, but we're sorry that eating was terrible. we ordered traditional cakes and mash with liquor. very bland and bad quality. we know his cheap but we can't recommend it. also not very clean, especially the...toilets

We really enjoyed our pie mash and liquor with a nice cuppa. And for for the lot you can't go wrong can you?! You order at the counter and find yourself a seat. They've got a good range of good old fashioned English food...and you really can't go wrong. It's open till most days. View menu

what can I say, traditional East East East End farewell, in the heart of greenwich, very appreciated and friendly service. dinge that I have to show, they have to go to the main counter and order the food themselves, and wait for it .there is no table service) the best worth in my estimation is double chopped cake, with single-mash and liquor and a cup tee you will feel full

I eat here whenever I'm in Greenwich because it's so cheap and good! Their eels are great, both jellied and in sauce, and their pie, mash and peas combo is pretty big. I've tried of their pies and must say that, while they're not the best pies in London, they're a square meal for under Go for the lamb and rosemary pie br br/>If you've still got space, or have someone to share with, their dessert crumbles are great too!
