"If you were to make a list of the most glamorous and oversubscribed dining spots in London, what would you include? The Ivy, Covent Garden stalwart and default shorthand for an exclusive celebrity hangout, is a shoe in. Ditto Scott 's in Mayfair, where if you manage to get a booking between the hours of 7 and 9 you are surely something above a mere mortal. There 's Sheeky 's, favoured of West End stars and a very lucky minority of their audiences, and perhaps also Le Caprice, somewhere that generally hides a good number of influential and famous notables behind its lace curtains. And all of the above, astonishingly, are run by the same people Caprice Holdings. If we are to measure a restaurant 's success on its popularity and I can 't think of a better way of doing it then surely they are doing something right. It 's all very well having the best food in Britain but if you can 't sell yourself, if you can 't make the whole package of visiting a restaurant an event , something desirable"

"a first visit in this restaurant in plüsch mayfair. at the arrival they were warmly welcomed and welcomed by friendly staff. full marks here. they were properly sitting and served with a basket of different miniskule brot with butter. not sufficient for a table of 6. no refilling or even asking if one was required. a lot of drinks were ordered before eating. it took 3 requests for the drinks to finally arrive, although the bottle sparkling water was very fast. for the net I ordered the set roast beef sirloin lunch and possibly this would have been a very fine meal. there was a pretty waiting time until the main thing is served. the 2 slices of bark and the yorkshire pudding and crusty bratkartoffels looked very well presented and appetizing, although the bark was intermittently fat and chewing – with gristle somewhere in there. very disappointing in the did and out of the perceiving of the customer, this type of bark corresponds to a thing, and that is cheap / bad quality bark meat. they get 2 slices of roast beef and they would hopefully expect to eat the bark meat without fat and chewiness and it was certainly not warm or hot. the yorkshire pudding was large and airy, but was cold and probably left to lie after boiling. the brat potatoes were crunchy, but much too salty. the selection of vegetables was in order, but they were served stingy portions as they were divided under 3 beef diners. a bit misleading, as the picture of the Brat dinner would recommend that they get individual portions of side-narrow. after lunch I needed a 2 draws of ice much. the ice cream flavor was good, but the 3 pieces were very simple and could not justify this amount. I have the tasty with celestial and lemon curd sauces that were nice to taste. the restaurant was full with a good ambiente and the exit itself is very nicely located in a very expensive and plush area of london. that was, if I had expected a high-quality meal that I feared was not the case. the overall experience was expensive and in no way was it a good value for money. No one makes it to pay more than usual to go and eat, but at the same time they expect to get quality!"

"I visited Picanha for the first time in December, just after the second lockdown was lifted. I was disappointed with my experience as it did not meet my expectations. As a fan of Fazenda, I am familiar with the concept and the food they offer, but this location fell short. While the meat selection was good, we encountered issues with the vegetarian dish being undercooked twice. Additionally, most of the sides were overly oily and had far too much salt. The service was another letdown; we had to wait a long time to order drinks or extra sides, while the wait staff appeared to prioritize tables that ordered expensive wine or champagne. Despite spending £100 on lunch, we felt ignored and expected better service."

"I made a reservation for Sunday lunch but ended up waiting over an hour. The staff never apologized for the long wait, and the restaurant was freezing cold with everyone eating with their coats on. The pub is poorly maintained with dirty and uncomfortable seats. I ended up leaving because the food took too long to arrive. The owner is missing out on a great opportunity, as this is currently the only restaurant in Yalding. If you are trying to support local businesses, I would not recommend this place. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service and will never be returning. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We went here yesterday m Father’s Day and they were extremely under staffed for the occasion and the kitchen couldn’t not keep up with the amount orders going into the kitchen. The waiting staff we very friendly and understanding to our frustrations. We waited over an hour for our starters to arrive, then the mains took an extra half hour for our mains to arrive which wouldn’t normally be a problem but giving the waiting time for the starters we were all pretty fed up by this point one of our children was to tired to eat. What was meant to be an afternoon meal turned out to be an evening meal and meaning we didn’t get home until late. Having said all of this the food was delicious when it did finally arrive. We will go back, but not on a day when it will be busy."

"we went on a Saturday to the groundless brunch in new street grill and were overall very satisfied. the service was attentive and very courteous, and they looked out to accommodate everything we needed, what was great. they ensured that our glasses were consistently covered with water and prosecco and gave all the advice we needed on the menu. in terms of eating it was very good in terms of quality, but I thought that the amount really was missing, especially for the net. the appetizers of chorizo Scotch egg and economical with mozzarella and olive oil tasted delicious, but the latter was really tiny in portion. the same went for the netzen a fish cake with poached ei and a piece of grilled chicken with greens were again very small in quantity, which is disappointing when they are hungry for a good brunch. I really hope that the next time we visit the quantity is generous, like the quality."

"My mother took us (myself, my husband, and a close friend , to TL as a surprise and we had a truly lovely time. This cozy French restaurant has great service and good food. The live piano music we could hear coming from the jazz bar upstairs added to the ambience. The private dining room we were in was intimate and comfortable and didn 't feel too cut off from the rest of the place. The service was attentive but subtle, so none of that is everything ok every 5 minutes. Classic Parisian Bistro dishes, well cooked, so no complaints. They also served a perfect rare steak which was good, as some/many places chicken out of serving anything even slightly pink, so Bravo there. All in all a lovely place to eat with friends and family."

"Having dined in this Restaurant on a previous visit to Bournemouth, I decided on a re-visit as I was very pleased with the service I received last time. Although it was mid evening, the Restaurant was practically empty, I was greeted by a polite young member of staff, shown to a table and drink order taken. On my previous visit, I spoke to the Chef Mr Ahmed who prepared a special dish for me. I asked if he was still the Chef, was told he was and would come out to see me. The greeting was very friendly as we renewed the acquaintance, he is a very warm and friendly character and keen to please customers. I asked if he could like before do a Naga for me as I enjoy hot curries, he apologised and said he didn't have Naga but would prepare me a very hot Vindaloo made with chillies I had on the last occasion; fish eye sometimes called Birds Eye chillies. I ordered a couple of pappadoms and received an additional complimentary one. My meal was then; curry, boiled rice and a plain Naan, the choice Mr Ahmed said was the best way to enjoy the meal as other rices have spices in which do not enhance the flavour of the sauce. As the Restaurant was quiet, although my meal took a little while, it was freshly made and absolutely spot on and thoroughly enjoyable. The total price, with drinks, was very reasonable and a complimentary cherry brandy was offered. Mr Ahmed came out from the kitchen as I was leaving and had a chat as he wanted to check that I was happy with my meal, I assured that I was , and thanked him again for the personal service. I have agreed with friends that the next time I am in Bournemouth we will go to the Bournemouth Tandoori."

"what a breathtaking place for brunch. eating was divine, really enjoyed their fluffy pancakes and a lumberjack. Eggs were perfectly cooked, crispy speck, golden kartoffeln and herby wurstpatty. the service was friendly and efficient and flat white was served at the right temperature, not too hot. I also took a brunch pizza that was absolutely delicious, plenty of filling and pizza base was thin and crisp. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys brunch and good coffee. Thank you."

"Very friendly atmosphere, welcomed by the owner/host when I arrived. Very attentive and had taken note of and informed the kitchen of my allergy and as I overheard in the dining room reminded another guest of their own allergy that they the guest had forgotten about. Simple and elegant dining room, not overcrowded with tables, old dining tables and chairs, simply decorated. Vintage style cutlery and fresh flowers on each table. For dinner I was served with an appetizer (amuse bouche) of avocado, pea and mint in a shot glass, which was very yummy. My starter was braised tomato and red onion served in filo pastry and to follow I chose Salmon served on a bed of minted pea, with broccoli, roasted potatoes and braised cabbage. So yummy! Salmon was perfectly cooked. All freshly made in house For desert I had a rocky road slice with non dairy vanilla ice cream. I can’t eat dairy and follow a predominantly plant based diet. They provided me with a small carton of Alpro soy milk for my room for any drinks that I might want to make before bed. Good wine selection; New and old world, not vast, but a good choice that compliments the menu. Altogether a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. Charming and elegant, simple and tasteful. I met a lovely older couple who try to visit two to three times per year. If I can I will visit again, it’s a lovely place, and dog friendly too!"

"I've never had hot pot before, but we went last week for my birthday. My husband had the mala broth, which was way too hot for me, but so moreish I couldn't stop going back to it! The food was great, and it was a really fun experience I highly recommend the rice cakes, they're really fun to eat."

"I've always enjoyed Shuang Shuang because of its unique concept! It's easy, you can eat whatever you fancy and you don't need to wait for the kitchen to cook it. There's minimal interaction with staff, which may not be perfect but it doesn't matter. The broth is delicious and selection of food is extensive. I think the idea of having your own hot pot is genius and although sharing is the traditional way, I prefer to have my own."
