"My husband and I stayed at the Oak House Hotel on 19.08.11. The service we received was five star mostly due to the most attentive member of staff called Nathaniel. From the moment we arrived Nathaniel looked after us. He was so polite and professional and made you feel special. We ate in the dining room later that evening. The food was superb and very professionally presented. We felt that the amount we paid was very reasonable both for the overnight stay and the meal. Breakfast choice was £7 for Full English and £5 for Continental. I chose the vegitarian full breakfast and was delighted with the quality. The sausages were full of vegetables including leeksdelicious! Our only complaint was the fierce spring our room door! It was very difficult to open and slammed shut.bit of a risk to the elderly or children. Our thanks to all the staff at the Oak House for making our stay one of the best on our holiday."

"Whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, my go-to dish is always the panang curry with tofu. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that their version was unique compared to others I've had before - it was spicy and had a lighter gravy consistency."

"I knew this place when it was browns many years ago. here my man and I had our first date when we met at uni. I visited the uni again, so that for a drink and something to eat. the guy behind the bar was very helpful and friendly. they let me insert my laptop and the wlan was easily accessible for my presentation. I ordered a sandwich that quickly came and was delicious. it's a nice relaxed environment and I'll go back the next time I'm in the opposite."
