"Evening of February 19th: Manager Greg could use some customer service training, he was needlessly un accommodating and dismissive. Our lovely waitress called him over to answer some questions/requests, which he answered like we were something he found on the bottom of his shoe. The request was to have a menu item with one element of the dish omitted from the plate (it has been previously offered this way on the menu …the menu is now less inclusive to dietary restrictions than it was) That was the first dinner out my Father, and Sister and I have had since our Mother passed away 3 weeks ago, and your attitude ruined it. I won’t be back, but please do better for others in future Greg, it doesn’t cost you anything to be nice."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, but it seems like the menu has shrunk since my last visit. The staff, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. However, it can be quite expensive, especially the drinks. Overall, it's a nice place to dine but be prepared to spend between £30-40 per person for dinner."

"This is quite a recent addition to York's burgeoning restaurant culture. Most people who know York will remember it previously as where La Tasca used to be round the corner from El Piano. It's absolutely lovely inside with lots of great seating options. We didn't have food on this occasion but I know from visits to the Leeds and Newcastle branches it's decent. Not amazing, but decent. The purpose of this visit was simply to relax with a couple of solid Las Iguanas Caipirinhas. They're always buy one get one free here so yes you'll pay a crazy £8 but you do get 2. I'm not complaining. I'll have to rate it 3 happy cows purely on the basis that we didn't have food."

"Hello. I typically do not like to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. I used to frequent this establishment once or twice a week, but after today, I will not be returning. I went with friends and some of the wings we ordered tasted terrible, as if they were undercooked. When we approached the staff about it, they laughed and made light of the situation. I tried to explain that we were only providing feedback as valued customers, but the employee was rude and unprofessional. While I know this restaurant is known for their wings, the service we received today was completely unacceptable."

"We booked well in advance however we were put in a corner away from everyone. We ordered nachos With shredded beef which were good followed by chicken enchiladas which were really disappointing. They tasted more like burritos. The filling was bland and the refried beans looked like dirty water on the plate. Our waitress was friendly but when we asked to be moved she didn’t want to ask the greeter as she said she’s strict and not nice. I didn’t understand and thought she was joking but obviously not. The location of the restaurant was lovely but the rest did not live up to it. Overall not the best Mexican food I have had. I can make better at home."

"I discovered Amigos about three years ago and have eaten there or taken food away on several occasions. I loved the food. After a break of about a year, I went in yesterday and was quite disappointed: the food is completely different from what I remember, unremarkable and very disappointing. I have had better taste and flavours in frozen meals from Farmfoods. Clearly, the kitchen staff (I wouldn't go as far as to call them chefs! have changed but sadly, all good things about the food that I remember and felt attracted to, have gone too. I will not go there again."

"Friends choice to go here, not in the nicest area but the decor inside was quite nice. More a cafe than a restaurant but it’s open in the evenings, Teenagers hanging around connected with the lady owner I think), it was quiet inside apart from them. The food was nice enough, it came in good time. The special price deal is daytime only I believe. This is a foreign owned establishment, felt a bit out of place tbh. The lady owner was ok I guess, bit of a vibe I picked up on. The toilet was nice and clean. The thing I found rude was that before we had finished our drinks the door was left open to the restaurant letting in the cold night air, in other words she wanted us gone as she wanted to close I assume. A polite word would have been far better explaining it was near closing time. It really spoiled the evening. There was also political propaganda on the counter, not something I want to hear about in a cafe. Not somewhere I would go back, I didn’t feel that comfortable. Two stars for the food which was decent and the drinks."

"when I heard that this place has vegan options, I did not expect too much my experience with Latin American restaurants in my own country is not so great when it comes to vegan food. but I was wrong. not only that they have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu that eat is simply great and I regret only that I could not try all their vegan options. my favorites were the vegan version of their three mushroom fajita and the tembleque kokospudding. yes, and the personal was very friendly and helpful. las iguanas became my favorite restaurant during my stay in milton keynes."

"First off despite booking delivery for 22.55 the email said ASAP. Rang an unpleasant chappie who blamed me but said would change to 23.00. Then delivery driver rang at 23.15 and said couldn't find our house. He was at wrong area altogether. Gave him directions and he still couldn't find us and rang back twice. The second time telling me he cant find our address so cant deliver.I rang saying I wanted refund but was told no refund as its been delivered. It eventually turned up at 23.35 as I was attempting to cancel again on phone but getting nowhere apart from abuse so I gave it back and answered the door to be greeted by the delivery plonker telling me off for swearing in my own house behind closed doors as he could hear me ! Oh and the food was atrocious even after warming it up and ended up in the bin."

"There are plenty of vegetarians and vegan options, the staff is very kind and the food tastes amazing! I went there twice in three days, I tried avocado and quinoa salad (not a big portion but full of nutrients) and a dish with portobello mushrooms, I don't remember the name, anyway.. it was delicious! "The second we stepped into this place, I wanted to go back out. The floor was filthy, and we were 'greeted ' by a front of house man in a stained top. He showed us to our table which was sticky and hadn 't been cleaned properly. The music was so loud that we couldn 't hold a conversation. We definitely were tempted to leave at this point, only it was a Saturday night and everywhere was taking bookings only. Our food arrived before our drinks, served by the man again in the stained top! One of the meals had to be sent back as it was cold. There was very little meat in the chilli con carne. The food was very poor quality. All in all this was a downside to our otherwise very nice trip."
