My sister who joined me as my guest had a broken foot and the manager and staff were most accommodating in finding a box to stand it on so it was raised. The Dover sole is always very good but as a beer drinker could they stock Birra Moretti as well as Peroni as the former is much nicer and it's what the Italians drink!"

Not like me but I felt like my body needed it, it was immense, so many flavours on one plate with lovely grilled chicken Staff were super friendly and attentive especially to my elderly mum in her wheelchair My mum is a super complainer and she never moaned once, so that's a feat in itself, well done lol"

"Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. "I met with a friend for a girls' catchup and enjoyed a delicious meal with a very friendly waiter taking care of us. The restaurant offered an excellent deal with three courses and 'bottomless prosecco', but it's important to note that the bottomless part only lasts for the first hour of dining. This detail was not clear on the Opentable website when we made our reservation. However, this did not detract from our enjoyable evening, and I would definitely recommend this venue."

"from beginning to end, this can only be described as one of my worst restaurants experiences. we were a little early on our table so we were invited to stand at the bar to wait for our table. we waited and waited and waited for twenty minutes to serve and there was only one person in front of us. We were totally ignored while the two people behind the bar took care of the table orders. eating ordered and when it came, it was wrong so that the food of my wife had to go back. another order was also wrong and they promised to bring the fritten asap. they came when we all finished our eating. the food of my wife came back right, but the plate was full of fat and pommes was microwave. eating all looked completely inconspicuous. the manager took the cost for the meal of my wife from the bill and the riders who never arrived but nothing for our experience or offered more drinks. unnecessary to say that we never go back. it felt as if they really did not deal with the volume of people."

"We took 2 grandchildren to lunch. The order was taken fairly quickly but the meal took a very long time to arrive. We waited for about 15 minutes for the table to be cleared after the main course, so we could order dessert. We gave up in the end and got the bill. It was impossible to attract their attention. I had to physically go up to the waitresses who were bunched together behind the bar after spending a great deal of time ignoring the other 3 tables. One woman loudly pleaded for her order to be taken. She also had waited an unreasonable length of time."

"Tomahawk was incredible! Undoubtedly the best steak I have ever eaten! Seating is strange ambience was definitely lacking. We ordered a side it was clearly forgotten about, we reminded staff twice we were still waiting on it, decided to start eating what we already received as we didn’t want it to go cold it arrived when we were 3/4 finished. "often call them at the weekend for an all-day breakfast. the caffe is made like an American diner and has a similar theme menu, pancakes, burger, huhn as well as the famous breakfast. the ladies that run the caffe are very happy and friendly, service is fast, eating ready to order cooked. only the problem is sometimes at the biker weekend in the summer it can wait a little for eating recommended."

"Visited with some work colleagues for a birthday lunch and we had a fab time. We were served by Maria and Susana and both were attentive, polite and always smiling. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the half francasinha as I knew that this was a very filling dish and I still felt really full afterwards. My two colleagues also struggled o finish their food. The portion sizes are such good value for the price paid. The desserts are also homemade we had the flan which been made only that morning really delicious. They heard we had a birthday on the table and so one of the flans came with a candle and the staff sang happy birthday so nice of them to go this extra mile."

"The staff were wonderful, and the restaurant was bustling, with only one empty table available. We had a bit of trouble explaining celiac disease and initially chose a meal that we were later told would be missing two sides. However, those sides weren't actually needed, as there was plenty of food, and everything tasted fantastic. The restaurant stayed busy throughout the evening, and the menu was extensive. Overall, it was a lovely night out."

"After not visiting Chez Mumtaj for a couple of years, we were pleased to see that the food quality has remained consistent. My wife enjoyed a delicious duck dish and my lamb shank was excellent. However, I have deducted a few stars due to the slightly disorganized service. We were seated at the wrong table initially and had to switch, and we had to request fresh table water multiple times. Despite this, the service was polite overall."

"Dinner had to be sent back twice. Once it was cold, like veg not even warm. took over 20mins for replacement to come. Manger didn't say anything just ignored us. Second time, they'd overcooked it, totally inedible. By then it was nearly 10pm! Not once did the manager approach with apologies left it to the poor waitress. Very unprofessional and I'd definitely discipline that manger. It was just awful and I must say I was surprised."

"Hey, I ate at the selfridges Aubaine. I have never experienced such horrible service and bad attitude of a waiter. I have very rarely had issues with someone at a restaurant before so I know it’s most likely not me but at this restaurant I started feeling very ill all of a sudden so I couldn’t eat my food. I wanted to take it away but I guess it’s not allowed. A man that works there called Ben came to me with the worst attitude I have ever seen, couldn’t wait one second for me to answer and scream “OK you’re not going to listen” while I was feeling extremely sick which is why I couldn’t answer. I didn’t even touch my salad and it was around 25 pounds with the extra I added so I felt bad paying for it and not being able to eat it since It is money I earned and decided to treat myself to a lunch out. This man Ben told me I could just stay here all day if I wanted to eat the salad. So rude, I felt so sad afterwards it ruined my day besides already feeling ill. Will share this on google as well and as much as I can to know how unfairly and bad clients are being treated in this place. Since I’ve never had a bad experience at a restaurant I never send these kinds of emails or write a review but this time I just had to."

"The restaurant has a colorful and lively atmosphere with beautiful wall papers, decorations, and colorful window displays. Even though we were not initially looking for dessert, we couldn't resist trying the chai latte, raspberry mousse, and tiramisú desserts. The tiramisú was light and fluffy, reminiscent of another great Italian place we had tried in California. The raspberry tart was a delightful explosion of flavors, with each layer perfectly complementing the next. The chai latte was smooth and just the right amount of spiced, providing a calming and enjoyable finish to our meal. I highly recommend this place for a date or special treat, you deserve it!"
