"We had a great Sunday lunch at this restaurant, offering a choice of 3 meats and the option to serve ourselves vegetables. As someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find that they offer a tasty gluten-free gravy. We made a reservation in advance to ensure they had it available. Overall, it was a good value meal."

"On one of the hottest days the air conditioning was playing up but no attempt was made to bring in fans. The breakfast was lovely however it took almost an hour to come and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Not sure if the breakfast is cooked for the hotel attached and this is the problem. The service wasn’t very good. Staff were rude asking if everything was ok but walking away before we answered. Not bringing any butter for about 10 minutes after it was asked for or tap water given the sweltering temperatures. Definitely wouldn’t return. I had booked this restaurant months ago after reading good reviews but our experience wasn’t very good."

"The food and prices are really good, the only problem was that it took too long to come and we ended our food free. Cocktails were delicious. The food was so filled that we could hardly move. If you get a main with several types of meat, you might not even need a page. It lacks spices, but it fixes a salt scatter. Had it with garlic butter, which also lacked taste, but salt also fixed it. We had chicken wings for beginners and they were terrible. They should be spicy, but there were no spices and they greased the sour cream made them worse. It was bad. But the main thing for this"

"Drink your glass of Vino, and when you've had your plate of Scallopino, make them play the Piccolino, the catchy Piccolino. Lyrics to The Piccolino, Irving Berlin from Top Hat As Strictly-mania reaches fever point ahead of the coming weekend's final, my friend Louise and I recently had a night of tripping the light fantastic when we went along to see Top Hat at The Playhouse. Tom Chambers did his best to fill Fred Astaire's sizeable tap-shoes, and what he lacked for in vocals and dancing, he more than made up for with charm. The production was a glorious technicolour glamour -fest. The live orchestra, the chorus girls, and top hats, white ties and tails kept us little...read more"
"Hungover and wanted a carvery delivered. The meat was the texture of what could only be described as, cabbage? almost as if it was boiled and watered down, tasteless to say the least. The promise of home made stuffing came to a burning halt when...i opened the box only to find out that I was sold a dream so be faced with a grey ball that was the texture of sand?? the roast potatoes were raw yet soggy? Don’t even get me started on the ‘cauliflower cheese’, nothing like dry cauliflower with no cheese. the array of 2 different vegetables was honestly what’s not to love about raw hard veg. Oh and not to mention it was stone cold upon arrival. Delivery time took 2 hours. Needless to say this is nothing short of an abysmal meal. but a let down with no other than smash and aunt betsy’s yorkshire puddings. wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy."

"eating was quite commendable and the service staff is terrible amiable, except that their linguistic skills have prevented them from explaining the times either in French or in English. the more in alignment of the deck made the place look more like the berliner hoff railway station. bad lighting and lack of love to detail the interior made the whole place on site with a high standard office kantine in the city, finally killing the feeling of intimacy in fine restaurants."

"Mezzorama offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant was almost full when we visited, filled with couples and small families, without any rowdy groups. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was top-notch. The only suggestion I have is for them to add more dessert options that are not ice cream-based. Although my partner's steak was cooked rare instead of medium as requested, I'm sure they would have gladly fixed it if we had asked. Overall, Mezzorama offers great value for the price."

"Such a lot of hassle when we got there because we thought we had booked the restaurant but we had booked the bar the manager said that we shouldn’t have been able to book the bar via Open Table as the bar doesn’t take bookings. Luckily they seated us upstairs in the restaurant on a lovely round table as there were 5 of us, the bar is a bit dark and busy to enjoy a meal so we were very fortunate that there was a table free in the restaurant the staff couldn’t have been more helpful trying to sort things out. It was a very awkward start to the occasion luckily it got better when we eventually enjoyed a glass of bubbly some very enjoyable food. Open Table needs to communicate with GNH Bar over what can be booked what can’t!"

"The beer is delicious. I love that they have good beer from stouts to IPAs. Great staff. The people who work here really take it over the top. Super friendly and helpful. The BrewDog company makes this a 50/50 store, splitting all profits with the staff, what an amazing company!! Stop in often, not just to support craft beer, but also the amazing staff and company."

"We recently dined at Coast to Coast in Birmingham for the first time and were truly impressed. The highlight of our visit was the amazing customer service we received from Keith, who we learned is relatively new to the restaurant. It is rare to encounter such personalized attention these days, but Keith made our experience truly memorable. Despite a rowdy group of 10 young men at a nearby table, Keith handled the situation with ease. We look forward to visiting Coast to Coast again on our next trip to Birmingham."

"Carluccio's in Bury St. Edmunds is a chain restaurant, but the personal touch really sets it apart. The attentive staff and great service, along with consistently delicious dishes from the kitchen, make it an excellent dining option. While the decor may look a bit dated, the location, large picture windows, and deli full of tasty treats more than make up for it. With good value, delicious food, and great service, what more could you ask for?"

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"This restaurant is a great spot. I went with my colleagues around 3, so there was no crowd or wait. The location is awesome and the service is fast. You can't go wrong here."

"We ordered the Chicago grill burger and the cheese burger with dynamite chicken tenders and a passion fruit mojito, Chicken burger was cooked well and was juicy whereas the meat cheese burger was dry and less flavoursome. Chicken tenders had nothing ‘dynamite’ about them, perhaps it was a one off? The ambience is nice if you’re in the area you should try it out. Did not try the shisha in this occasion but will try if we visit again sometime. The two Asian waitresses and one white waitress were very welcoming as I had informed them of a last minute birthday celebration/dessert and the ladies got it sorted, put on music on the speakers; bought in dessert with sparklers and sang happy birthday for my friend. Was a very nice touch to the evening and the bill was very inexpensive. Overall I’d come again with friends due to the lovely service and that chicken burger "

"Upon arrival, the young woman who greeted us was very friendly and courteous. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, we were seated at a table in the corner by the window and unfortunately seemed to have been overlooked as the service was quite slow. The man who served us was very abrupt and had a demeanor more suited for a courtroom rather than a restaurant serving the public. His overall businesslike and grumpy attitude really detracted from our dining experience today."

"As we were a group of 9 we were asked to pre-order, no problem. So no idea why we were kept waiting so long to be served the place was virtually empty. The potatoes in my raclette were fried (they should be boiled) and...burned and the cheese was meagre. How the chef managed to cook dauphinoise potatoes with absolutely no flavour is beyone me. And the creme brulee was pedestrian. Others in my party spoke better of their fishcakes and chicken. Perhaps i was just unlucky with my choices. The wine list is limited and totally lacking in detail (doesn't even given the abv of the wines) And the only word I can come up with to describe the service is surly. Spent all evening wishing we'd gone to the Ivy down the road"
