"I booked at 14:30 on Wednesday, and i was a bit worried to find no one inside the restaurant, i took courage pills and ordered minute steak which comes with roasted potatoes, i was surprised to find the order ready after 5 min. The potatoes were dark in colour and the steak was chewy ..it was really obvious that the food is not fresh at all and im confident its reheated. The waiters were not friendly and i had to wait for 10 min. to get noticed when i wanted the bill despite of being alone in the restaurant! Avoid"

"My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday and had a great experience. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly with menus. The vegetarian options were extensive and it was hard to decide what to order. I tried the creamy leek pie and it was fantastic. My husband ordered a large pasta dish which he enjoyed, although he struggled to finish it. We were too full for dessert so we didn't get to see that menu. The prices were reasonable. The only drawback for my husband was that the restaurant was a bit noisy due to the close proximity of the tables and the echoey room."

"We ordered take out for fish and chips on a Friday night. We waited 30 mins infront of the shop we signaled to the staff a few times that we were right in front of them to let us know when our food is ready....Not only did the food sit on the side while we waited and have to ask multiple times for our order, the staff was incredibly rude when I asked for extra tartar sauce. They insisted I pay 40p for one satchet and I told them I can only pay with card (not carrying cash, esp during the pandemic) they said there 's a £5 minimum and nothing else. Terrible service, long wait, rude staff. There 's plenty of other delicious fish and chip places on the same street."

"One specific Staff member was rude from the get go, and continued to be rude at the till, and we were refused to speak with the manager about a complaint we had, when querying the drastic inflation of price the girl in the till said ‘no that’s not been the price’ then she reviewed the previous price and said ‘oh that’s right’ but never apologised for the telling off my mum received and convinced her she was wrong, was never offered a receipt And don’t bother to reply with a snarky reply as to why that behaviour is appropriate, we can see from your replies that you don’t give a toss for reviews when really you should take it on board and fix the attitudes"

"Fantastic meal in a good central Cambridge location. We sat in the rear of the restaurant which was nice, but very hot owing to proximity to the kitchen would ask to sit in front in future. Food decent value and portions were huge. Had no room for dessert on this occasion so will definitely be back, as there were at least three things on the dessert menu I’d like to try"

"It seems we chose a quiet night to dine there, being midweek, but the restaurant still had a nice atmosphere. Menu choice was ample and the food was very enjoyable seafood linguine and chicken saltimbocca as our main courses. But what made the evening most enjoyable was Joanne, the waitress who was absolutely charming and could not do enough to please us despite her serving every single table in the restaurant that evening. What a delight she is, and hopefully a much treasured and appreciated member of Carluccio’s Chester team."

"We have visited Amore various times previously. Called last night to book Christmas Lunch menu for Saturday 9th December and secured a table for 3.15pm. When we arrived were handed dinner menu and following ordering drinks when we queried the menu we were advised that lunch finished at 2.45pm. We each had two courses with a soft drink one with a starter and both having lasagne as main and the other a sweet. Restaurant was busy as expected for time of year. Starter was prawns on sourdough and nice. Lasagne presented with absolutely no side salad or even a sliver of garlic bread all the sides are extra cost. Sweet was Eton mess and literally a scoop of ice cream a few crumbs of merengue and a single half a strawberry thinly sliced. Bill including the pre-added service charge was £74. Staff were courteous as always but we were sorely disappointed with our experience today."

"We have booked an afternoon tea for 2. 45 minutes wait for 8 tiny sandwiches and 8 desserts. But no plates, had to wait another 10/15 minutes. Also no tea, had to wait another 20 minutes, waitress brings tea but no sugar, asked for sugar, not receiving it after 10 minutes. Went to the bar to get it myself, waitress saw me then 3 minutes later went to our table and thrown sugar on it...! This waitress never smiled or apologize. She clearly doesn´t like her job and should consider to change! Went to pay, bartender apologize for the wait, the only one that was nice in that room... The sandwiches and desserts were not great. Very basic and the bread wasn´t fresh... Much too expensive for what we had. Will never go back again and highly do not recommend this place."

"Posting on behalf of Wife. Humiliated in front of other diners purely for coming in with a double pram. One female member of staff pointed at newborns babies saying they can’t accommodate that ‘thing’. It’s small enough to fit through a single door so doesn’t take up much more space than a single pram! Even offered to put pram away and place chairs at the table to create more space which received huffs from staff around the inconvenience of having two sleeping babies in their chairs! Made to feel unwelcome and anxious for the duration of lunch so left swiftly within an hour. Fortunately other diners were lovely but staff are in serious need of training on how to treat customers. Numerous new mothers struggle with anxiety going out with babies and that kind of treatment of an individual struggling could have a serious impact on their mental health. Disgusting behaviour."

"this place was fantastic. I am from California and ed’s was a wonderful memory of home. this place feels like the 50s and it puts a smile on her face when she in. I have a big ed’s burger and it was delicious (have a tweebel ring and speck on it, I mean, come it.) eating here has given me the feeling as if I had worth my money. the drinks are a bit expensive, but if you get water, a pornstar, and one side, it's not too bad. the service was good, we were greeted at the door and immediately got a place. the dings were busy and we have to eat quickly. "My husband and I met friends here this afternoon. Luckily we sat at a large table so could spread out and there was plenty of room for all our food and drinks. We enjoyed various starters to share, arrancini balls, king prawns, mushrooms al forno, calamari and chips. Our friends opted for pasta dishes, we all enjoyed our food very much. It was my friend, Madeleine’s birthday, the waitress brought over a tiramisu with a candle, nice touch. We all enjoyed our visit to ASK, in fact the waitress recognised us from last year. This restaurant is a good choice for couples and friends. A member of staff called us a cab as requested which was appreciated. Thanks to you all for a lovely afternoon/evening"

"My new favourite! Lovely staff, brilliant food (veggie friendly), ideal atmosphere, fab prices. The bar staff gave us a couple different draughts to try before we made a choice which was a really nice intro to the place. The third, half and full pints are awesome because you can try a few. "We like the food and atmosphere in Wildwood, it’s nothing fancy but yummy and lovely setting for lunch. Yesterday we went in and my young daughter out of the blue was quite unwell.
