Went for afternoon tea and was amazed! The selection of pastries/sandwiches was great and the tea was wonderful. Excellent service as well from all, especially Libra Simon!

Used to love it here. Went recently and the service is awful. I never even leave but reviews but I should of heeded the warning others have left because why does it take half an hour for a glass of tap water?

Waited 29 mins for drinks and ordered food together. Everything arrived at different times. One meal never arrived. Melbes chips £3.95 should of been called McCann oven chips as that's what they were. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid View menu

Amazing experience here, Joe the manager was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We were guests at the hotel and did their picnic basket and ate here a few times. Will definitely come back when we have the chance.

I had gone here for a some snacks during the afternoon. Quite impressed with the service provided by the member of staff especially Alina who was helpful in everyway. I also had to attend an online meeting from this place and she was really helpful in accommodating me.

Went for a 3 course Christmas lunch .Food was lovely and the main course which we choose was turkey with all the trimmings. I must say we got an enormous helping and could not manage to finish. Food was so very tasty and service was very good. Yes I would definitely recommend. View menu

Well we didn't get to have a dinner as booked under a well known vochur company. We were booked for a three course dinner and bottle of prossecco on Saturday 30th September But because of the trains strike over weekend which was when we were booked. I emailed the day before to advise no other way of getting there. In view if the train strike would they honour the booking under the same offer for an alternative day......twice the email was sent, but nor a word from them at all...what sort of company does that... The vochure is now showing expired...marvellous....well qe have learnt from this...not to bother with this place in the future....so people if you have a vochure..make sure you don't...

We have booked an afternoon tea for 2. 45 minutes wait for 8 tiny sandwiches and 8 desserts. But no plates, had to wait another 10/15 minutes. Also no tea, had to wait another 20 minutes, waitress brings tea but no sugar, asked for sugar, not receiving it after 10 minutes. Went to the bar to get it myself, waitress saw me then 3 minutes later went to our table and thrown sugar on it...! This waitress never smiled or apologize. She clearly doesn´t like her job and should consider to change! Went to pay, bartender apologize for the wait, the only one that was nice in that room... The sandwiches and desserts were not great. Very basic and the bread wasn´t fresh... Much too expensive for what we...

My daughter took me for brunch on a voucher offer. First issue brunch doesn 't exist despite it saying so on the confirmation email. So we ended up having lunch. The actual food was ok. Everything else was not. The waiting staff appear to have no idea what to do, ie wait on tables. Their English is limited it took a while to ascertain that brunch wasn 't available as words such as crossiant were not understood. Ditto balsamic . The first course and the prosecco were successfully delivered and enjoyed. Our plates were not taken away until the next course arrived. My daughter had the wrong meal, it was salmon but with all the wrong accompanyments (they had given her a similar meal from another... View menu
