"Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. "On arrival we informed the hostess that we had an offer that was a meal and a drink for £5.99 , she told us it was only for a meal but we told her the offer included a drink and showed her the offer , she again said it was only for the meal but would ask her manager , she came back and told us that the manager had said the same that it was only for a meal , I showed the manager the voucher and she said she would go and check the terms and conditions , she came back and told us we were actually right , we had an email with the headlines “ Meal and a drink for £5.99” It made us feel very uncomfortable and we could not wait to leave !"

"from beginning to end, this can only be described as one of my worst restaurants experiences. we were a little early on our table so we were invited to stand at the bar to wait for our table. we waited and waited and waited for twenty minutes to serve and there was only one person in front of us. We were totally ignored while the two people behind the bar took care of the table orders. eating ordered and when it came, it was wrong so that the food of my wife had to go back. another order was also wrong and they promised to bring the fritten asap. they came when we all finished our eating. the food of my wife came back right, but the plate was full of fat and pommes was microwave. eating all looked completely inconspicuous. the manager took the cost for the meal of my wife from the bill and the riders who never arrived but nothing for our experience or offered more drinks. unnecessary to say that we never go back. it felt as if they really did not deal with the volume of people."

"We have eaten many times in this restaurant in recent years, but it seems to us that the service and restaurant itself is getting worse and worse! First, on our last visit the host said that our booking NOT about Open Table fortunately we were happy that another couple had canceled, so we had their table. It took a very long time to serve our main course after we had finished our appetizers, I had to ask the staff 3 times where the food was, each time it was explained that we showed a cinema to get, we had booked the restaurant for an hour and half before our departure, so it should have been a lot of time to serve our food and have eaten for us. The chicken pasta was bland and tasteless, so hardly was eaten. Finally, the music was played so loud in the restaurant that we had to scream to have heard us; not what you would expect in a restaurant. We won't come to visit there for a long time!"

"Had lunch here yesterday. What a gem. Please book, always busy by the looks of it we were in Chester for the day. Staff where very friendly the interior is quirky and lovely. Had the vegetarian breakfast was delicious, was also great that tea is served in a pot with china cups and you get more than one cup out of the pot. Had a delicious dessert too and an espresso Martini with a shot of hazelnut. Delicious the best I have had. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Chester to eat here was lovely. Will definitely be returning again."

"I used to eat here a lot but the food has dropped in standard the double bacon cheese burger had salad which consisted of only lettuce and very little of that the mayonnaise looked like it had been scraped on with a butter knife to give you the least amount possible the burgers were pretty low quality and the bacon was overcooked it look nothing like the picture on the menu. My wife had the pasta which although she ate it all made her feel queasy for the rest of the night so Unless things improve drastically I won’t be eating there ever again it’s a shame because it used to be such a great place and the staff are really nice"

They immediately agreed to accommodate everything, and my little girl had a fantastic birthday. "absolutely horrific from beginning to end. we had our 2 year old son with us, which means that meal times in the regular are made quite fast as we get the food at once and he eats quickly. not this time! we were there about 2 hours because of the shocking service. it wasn't busy and it seemed to be more employees than customers, so there was simply no excuse. highlights included: the woman asked for a j20, was brought quite another drink. small child received a color leaf and then said there were no crayons to use. he asked that all foods (beginners and main things) be brought out at the same time, we got the adult starter after about 20mins. no sign of the rest of the food. the adult starter was then deleted, and 20mins later the rest of the food arrived, including the child starter?! margherita pizza had practically no cheese on it and was flat cold, took a bite and sent him back what I have never done before! the replacement had a little more beeping, but still quite naked. had to remind the waiter several times to get cute. to dessert we ordered a coffee and an ice cream. nothing came up for over 20 minutes, we chased it up. then they brought the ice and ice. No sign of coffee at the place where we 'd finish the other desserts. I went in and canceled so we could go. the only plus point was when I asked to pay so that we could go, the waiter tried to serve the cashier and "pressed the wrong taste '. he went to another, until with a colleague, after 5mins of the head scratches, he then gave me a bill for. £9.70! Not bad for a three cursor meal for three of us with drinks. I paid and went, thought they had something for the terrible service, but about the reflexion and no one said everything I think they just messed up the bill. probably the worst culinary experience I've ever had, pathetic simply because we had a nice day and the sun seemed."

"My husband and I visited the restaurant today at 5pm and were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order for two coffees and two waffles. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and another 35 minutes for the waffles. Despite the coffee being okay, the waffles were cold and extremely chewy. The dish consisted of three pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl that only covered one section of waffle, and a small jug of syrup. We were truly disappointed with the quality of the food and felt like we should have lodged a complaint as we were unhappy with what we paid for. While waiting, I observed the chef slamming a plate down and leaving the order slip on top of the food for 8 minutes before a waitress took it away. We have visited Frankie and Benny's many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were very disappointed."

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"

The service was excellent and incredibly fast—there was no waiting around or having to check on our orders. The food was simply amazing! My partner is quite picky about what he eats, but he had nothing but good things to say about it. I even managed to take a few photos of our meals (some partially eaten, haha). We used a Groupon voucher, which made for a smooth transaction—it didn’t disrupt our experience at all. It was worth every penny! Our granddaughter enjoyed her child's meal, especially the free squishy toy that came with it. Our burgers were delicious and well-prepared, served with fresh fries and high-quality burger sauce on brioche rolls. The restaurant was clean and well-furnished, with friendly staff who checked on us multiple times during our meal. The toilets were also very clean and accessible. With ample parking and easy access for disabled patrons, this restaurant is a great choice for those visiting the cinema, harbour, or nearby shops. We would definitely dine here again."
