"I don't often go to eat, but I love frankie bennys. at the various locations I can go and it is always a tasty bite. eating is nice and my two children ate for free. they have great cocktails and the service is friendly and fast. I would like to distinguish at least a few workers petronella and sam who made our visit even more pleasant. if they don't have to pre-book they might have to wait for the table, so better to make calls in advance. "I made a reservation for a table for 8 people at 6:15 through OpenTable, but when I arrived, they had not received my booking, which was not my error but an OpenTable mistake. We had to wait until 6:45 for the next available table, which was only designed for 6 people. After I asked about our order, we were finally served our food at 7:30. By then, my hungry and hyper 3-year-old son was running around the restaurant. The 7 burgers, buns, and onion rings we ordered were cold and tasteless, with soggy bases, but the fries were very hot. We also had to wait again for the children's desserts, which was ice cream. We had to ask for our bill and ended up leaving disappointed with a group of bored children who had been sitting at a small table for too long and given poor quality food. Spending £105 for the worst evening out in a long time is not something I would recommend or repeat."

"Prebooked a table for people. We were crammed on a person table if that despite the restaurant being practically empty with much bigger tables. It was clear we were struggling and not once were we offered the chance to move. We had to...call someone over to take our drinks order. She didn’t come to take the order for at least minutes after saying she was coming then one drink never turned up so after about minutes of waiting we had to ask for it again. The food arrived at the same time which was good but unfortunately nobody had cleared our salad bowls so we couldn’t fit the mains on properly and some plates were practically bare. There was only a quarter of rotisserie chicken left when we ordered so we had to swap to a chicken breast which was ok but when a lot of the food is fatty and the ribs are undercooked without the bbq sauce on at all like stated on the menu that isn’t acceptable. It was very clear the staff were keeping the guests in one area of the restaurant for their convenience but it backfired when someone from the door marked ‘Private’ shouted something so loudly every guest turned and looked in shock. There was no explanation or apology. The staff just came out one by one smiling and laughing after they’d all rushed through to the back to see what was going on. Very unprofessional! It’s my first time visiting Wales and I’d had this Harvester recommended to me but I’ll never go back to it no matter how many times I visit in the future!"

"We attended a wedding celebration and took advantage of a Groupon deal for a two-course meal for £30, which allowed us to save £36 on our total bill—truly fantastic value! The menu offered plenty of options, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our server, Courtney, was exceptionally kind, especially considering it was only her second day on the job. "Today, we visited the restaurant for my son's 11th birthday celebration with his friends. We ordered our main dishes and milkshakes from the menu. We wanted to order dessert, but we only had 25 minutes before we had to leave for laser tag. We inquired with the server if we would have enough time, and she assured us that we would. We decided to order 4 desserts. Unfortunately, only 2 desserts arrived after 5 minutes, while the other 2, including the one for my son's birthday, arrived just as we needed to leave. This 20-minute delay in serving the desserts caused my son to be upset as we had to rush through his birthday dessert. As a result, we were late for laser tag and missed a game. When I questioned the delay, I was informed that it was due to a new chef and was left with no further explanation. We also requested a balloon for each child, which was not provided, despite other children of similar age receiving them. When we inquired about the balloons, the server confirmed but never brought them. The food was mediocre, as we expected. Overall, it was one of the worst cases of service we have experienced."

"Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it."

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"

"First time visiting Frankie and Benny's with a friend. We were politely welcomed to a seat and asked if we would like anything to drink before the waitress left. We asked for some time to decide what we wanted to order. The waitress returned promptly after serving customers who were ready to order. This was reasonable time for us. We then ordered drinks and two courses each. A starter and a main. The drinks were brought over in good time for us to settle and have a chat. The starters arrived not long after. My friend ordered a garlic bread pizza which he described as greasy but tasty. I decided to have the mozzarella dippers which tasted bland, even with the sauce. A couple of them were overcooked. For our mains we ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and a plain 6oz burger with fries. The vegan burger was very tasty, however the sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but still rather nice. The plain 6oz burger arrived : not plain. It had to be sent back and corrected. However my friend was pleased with it once it came back. We were rather full afterwards and decided to pass on trying a dessert. We asked for the tab and it came back to us at an incorrect amount. We soon realised they charged for a jug of the cocktail I ordered instead of a glass and 2 servings of coke. We brought this up to the waitress and she fixed the issue with the cocktail but informed us that because we ordered the coke from the main menu, instead of the side menu (even though they are the same price) that the refills would not be free. 7/10 food. 6/10 service. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd go back in a hurry as there are far superior eateries for similar prices."
