Frankie Benny's Nottingham

Disappointed with this F&B. Uncomfortable seating, too noisy and grubby. Difficult to talk over loud background music. Did ask to be moved but was told it wasn't possible.

The staff offered a great service.And helped host the perfect party for my year old. The waiters and waitresses went above and beyond and I have been happier with the food and amazing atmosphere....

Absolutely brilliant service. Completely new to the restaurant and it left us with a wonderful all-round experience. Lovely vibe throughout. Quality food, super quick service, next to no waiting time on our food orders. My family were waited on by Emed (Nottingham city) who went above and beyond to give us such a warm welcome and valued our custom. Staff are friendly and helpful and quick to respond. The food is of a good standard and the prices are reasonable. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere created by the classic music and ambiance from the memorabilia. The menu has good variety and lots of classic dishes. There are plenty of starters to choose from and lots of great desserts. The cocktails are also nice to enjoy with your meal. Great location in center of town so access via taxis and buses. Overall a reasonably priced night in a good atmosphere that you wont regret, enjoy this night!

Frankie and Benny's is another chain and the menu is the same in every F&B restaurant. This is the only F& B in the city centre but there is another restaurant within Nottinghamshire – close to Showcase Cinema.I am a huge fan of the sharing platter sample, this is definitely something that you need to share or have it as your main, the other good things are the pizzas and I really like the ham and pineapple one but well then the old favourites are always the best. It also depends I think as to who is the chef as I have had a fantastic meal at Frankie’s and an awful meal.

I organised to have my friends birthday dinner at frankie and bennys and I have to say I was pleased with how it turned out. It seems many people choose this restaurant as a place to get together for special occasions as the staff pull it off really well. A birthday tune will be played and the cake of your choice brought out by staff. The atmosphere is made to feel very lively and exciting and I would recommend frankie and bennys to anyone wanting a birthday dinner. I had the 3 courses for £13.99 and I started with the Mushroom and garlic Bruscetta. This was very tasty with a nice texture and with freshly toasted bread. The main course was fish and chips with a healthy sized piece of cod. Nice flakey pieces of white fish, and then followed up by a pudding of Iced cream. I can certainly recommend the chocolate brownie for pudding, warm and tasty. We received good service despite it being half term and very busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend. Just be aware that this is not fast food, and so expect to wait for your food to be cooked fresh.

Frankie and benny's is always a first choice place to eat with friends and a great place to go as a couple. The atmosphere created is friendly, relaxed and the music played is pleasant and classical.The food is highly recommended and I particularly enjoy the meatball pasta. Starters are also good to get your appetite started! I always save room for dessert as Im never disappointed by how delicious they are. staff are always friendly and meet all requirements to make your visit a memorable one.Location is really good being central with easy access to taxis and buses just outside. I would recommend franky and benny's for anyone looking to have a good value meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard.
