"Booked online for 6 of us for a birthday meal for my son. Was met by a lady who was chewing gum (not acceptable in a restaurant front of house position) and was not particularly happy (waitress1) She said that there was a wait on food even though we had booked due to people wanting takeaways. We ordered drinks with another lady (waitress 2) who was very pleasant and she bought them to the table. She was followed by waitress 1 with the same drinks who made a point of telling us that waitress 2 had not ticked off that she had served the drinks, (in my opinion this belittling situation was very unnecessary). Even my 17 year old son said it was unfair on waitress 2. We ordered our food with waitress 2. Our food was delivered by waitress 1 and one of the dishes was incorrect. There was no apology and she said she would rectify the error, I waited for a long time for my meal, in fact, some of our group had just about finished their meal before it arrived. The meal was still missing the dressing that I had originally asked for. I was then told that they did not have the dressing that I was originally offered. Waitress 1 came over and asked if all was ok. I explained that we weren’t happy. Waitress 1 offered to take my meal off the bill. We went to the reception area to pay with waitress 3 who was lovely. She presented me with the bill which had my meal removed. Waitress 1 then came over and belittled waitress 3 saying she’d got the wrong bill for us. In fact, she had got the right copy. Waitress 3 appeared to be embarrassed by Waitress 1 behaviour. I paid and we left to have our dessert in a different place. Very disappointing for my sons birthday and we will not be going back. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and my overall opinion was poor customer service which was predominantly 1 member of staff"

"Pizza good as usual but the side portions are laughable. Slaw £4.95 barely two tablespoons of grated carrot with pepper on top and tasted grim. £4.95 for miniscule side salad drenched in dressing (with two grapes of all things. Even dough balls massively marked up over £4 for 8 but teeny tiny. Didn't complain as my teen son was too embarrassed. Clearly how they're making their money. Shame really. Otherwise service good....pizza express is pizza express!"

"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"really great mood in the bar area, efficient service to our drinks and many tables to accommodate us, good choice on the menu my only suggestion would perhaps be another meat selection instead of 2 steak selections, eating was very simple but clean and tidy plating. my only small critique is on the dessert wine list that they had a harbour but no cheese selection, but this is more a personal preference, as I have no massive sweet tooth. well done and we will return soon"

"I have been in the filling station in the omni center, edinburgh several times. I love eating American style along with the friendly service. the filling station coast to coast is an american restaurant bar. the atmosphere is created by playing classic American soundtracks and retro decoration. my favourite dish that I always go back and forth are the kentucky wings with Louisiana sauce. nom! and of course there is always space for one or two of the desert:D read them on my blog posts from the cocktail master class that is hosted by filling station and reintroducing the filling station in the edinburgh royal mile."

"So I have seen several of these all around London and assumed that a pizza a a chain wouldn't be that great. Finally I tried one when I couldn't find anything else that looked good in the area. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I have now tried two locations and have to say that both the service and the food has been good at each one. "On arrival we informed the hostess that we had an offer that was a meal and a drink for £5.99 , she told us it was only for a meal but we told her the offer included a drink and showed her the offer , she again said it was only for the meal but would ask her manager , she came back and told us that the manager had said the same that it was only for a meal , I showed the manager the voucher and she said she would go and check the terms and conditions , she came back and told us we were actually right , we had an email with the headlines “ Meal and a drink for £5.99” It made us feel very uncomfortable and we could not wait to leave !"

"We managed to get a last minute booking which surprised us, given that it was a Friday evening in the west end. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and given a nice table by the window. We ordered wine which was decanted at the table by our waitress Valentina. We chose mussels to start followed by pizza and sergios cod provencal along with a tomato and onion salad which they kindly prepared despite not being on the menu, (not always easy to achieve in many other restaurants) The mussels were tiny and many of the shells were empty, however the marinara sauce was tasty. The pizza, quattro formaggi was incredibly salty and doughy. The cod dish was bland and in our opinion the fish was undercooked. We were hungry so ate what we could. But left a considerable amount of food untouched. When the waitress came to clear she could obviously see that we had not enjoyed the food and asked how it was. She was also surprised that no-one had come to do a quality check. She said she would go and speak to the manager, which she did. After we paid and made to leave the manager then approached and offered us a limoncello which we declined. Sadly we were disappointed and despite there being many celebrity photographs adorning the walls, we found the experience underwhelming."

"From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we received excellent, caring service from all staff. We asked for a quiet table and we were seated away from noisy families; the service and the food were excellent, a really lovely evening. "We have eaten many times in this restaurant in recent years, but it seems to us that the service and restaurant itself is getting worse and worse! First, on our last visit the host said that our booking NOT about Open Table fortunately we were happy that another couple had canceled, so we had their table. It took a very long time to serve our main course after we had finished our appetizers, I had to ask the staff 3 times where the food was, each time it was explained that we showed a cinema to get, we had booked the restaurant for an hour and half before our departure, so it should have been a lot of time to serve our food and have eaten for us. The chicken pasta was bland and tasteless, so hardly was eaten. Finally, the music was played so loud in the restaurant that we had to scream to have heard us; not what you would expect in a restaurant. We won't come to visit there for a long time!"

"So So disapointed. Only booked a few weeks ago and chose this on the basis of what cocktails were available for a bottomless brunch. Got there and they had changed the choices..to ones we did not like. The said it would have been on an email but the email I received the day before had none of this info. If it had, we would have cancelled as can have prosecco brunch locally!. Finally the manager agreed for us to have another choice but that was after were were going to walk. Service was always polite but so so slow. Had to call someone over more times than not and it wasnt even busy.The food was lovely I have to say but the other MASSIVE complaint was there was no live DJ as advertised, No vibe just piped music..why was it advertised as a kitchen disco brunch. Very very disappointed and DO NOT recommend."

"We'd originally tried an independent place but turned out the great vegan menu on their website was no more available, so last minute trip to a chain. We were served really quickly, and I think their vegan options were different to last time I'd been. I went for lots of vegan cheese options. Nearly £13 for a pasta dish felt a bit much, but it was filling with lots of flavour and loaded with more than just tomato sauce. The dessert was very sweet and rich; I'd share one next time."

"Thanks so much for a lovely meal, we visited today for my partners birthday, we was served by Emily. She was very pleasant always on hand when we needed to order something else. The food was amazing! And the atmosphere was great. There are a great team of staff who seem very happy to work there as they were all very bubbly and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. They didn’t seem to be under any pressure. There was also another member of staff who was making a fuss of young children which I thought was very nice to see. Overall very nice F B. "Interesting visit. Firstly, we experienced no problems due to Coronavirus or the Eat out to help out . No difficulties with their safety processes, or having to wait for food. All the front of house staff were great, attentive and friendly. The food...it was VERY hit miss...the ribs, the chicken (breast, wings Southern Fried) was lovely. The fries were gross, like little splinters of balsa wood. We always have a side of fries with any meal, and the side of fries tonight was untouched, along with most of the fries with our respective meals. The steak that came with my 'Ultimate Grill ' was the most God-awful piece of meat I 've ever had put before me!!! They gave me a steak knife that struggled to cut the meat!!! In the main i dont really fully blame the kitchen, obviously they dont source the food, they just cook what they are sent, whether that be cheap and nasty frozen chips, or cheap nasty cuts of rump steak...but...I 'd still like to think that someone in the kitchen should be attempting some kind of quality control over what goes out... Not a completely ruined night, but for £80 spent, i expect better."

"absolutely horrific from beginning to end. we had our 2 year old son with us, which means that meal times in the regular are made quite fast as we get the food at once and he eats quickly. not this time! we were there about 2 hours because of the shocking service. it wasn't busy and it seemed to be more employees than customers, so there was simply no excuse. highlights included: the woman asked for a j20, was brought quite another drink. small child received a color leaf and then said there were no crayons to use. he asked that all foods (beginners and main things) be brought out at the same time, we got the adult starter after about 20mins. no sign of the rest of the food. the adult starter was then deleted, and 20mins later the rest of the food arrived, including the child starter?! margherita pizza had practically no cheese on it and was flat cold, took a bite and sent him back what I have never done before! the replacement had a little more beeping, but still quite naked. had to remind the waiter several times to get cute. to dessert we ordered a coffee and an ice cream. nothing came up for over 20 minutes, we chased it up. then they brought the ice and ice. No sign of coffee at the place where we 'd finish the other desserts. I went in and canceled so we could go. the only plus point was when I asked to pay so that we could go, the waiter tried to serve the cashier and "pressed the wrong taste '. he went to another, until with a colleague, after 5mins of the head scratches, he then gave me a bill for. £9.70! Not bad for a three cursor meal for three of us with drinks. I paid and went, thought they had something for the terrible service, but about the reflexion and no one said everything I think they just messed up the bill. probably the worst culinary experience I've ever had, pathetic simply because we had a nice day and the sun seemed."

"It is my first time in this Frankie&Bennys but I have been many times in other ones. I came with my partner to have dinner and we were totally disappointed with the service given. The waitress a young lady, brunette and short hair took the wrong order. We wanted to have all the food together and not starters and mains as we had a cinema date.We got the starters, (never asked it they were ok) and when we got the mains (after waiting for a while) they were completely wrong and poorly presented. it was 2 carbonara, 1 with extra mushrooms and 1 w chicken and nduja sausage . We got the pasta without any bacon at all and we were like, where is the bacon? The waitress passed our order totally wrong to the kitchen, no bacon and chicken and mushrooms instead. We were offered for fresh new ones instead and this also took a long time to arrive. They came again the second time wrong, my partners pasta had no sausage this time. After being told they did it in. I asked the manager to have a closer look and once he did he agreed there was no nduja. At this point we decided to just eat as we were already too late for our cinema booking. The service overall was shocking. The waitress and waiter seemed they didn’t care at all about the job and the customers. No check backs on food even after the issues were raised. They never asked if we wanted more drinks! Definitely really poor customer service and they never tried to make it better. My advice to the GM of these place, get ride of these staff who make the brand Frankie&Bennys a really bad place to eat. They never gave us any discount or apology or tried to give us a sweet to forget the nightmare. I’ll def not coming back to this restaurant anymore!"

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"
