"My partner and I decided to dine at this restaurant tonight because we were impressed by the cozy atmosphere, stylish design, and tasteful music. The service was excellent, although at times there was a longer than usual wait for the bill. However, with the option to pay using the tableside payment app, we were able to avoid waiting for too long. The drinks were fantastic, although on our last visit in November, I was unable to have alcohol as I was 9 months pregnant. I requested a milkshake made with a milk alternative, and although they didn't have milkshakes or other dairy-based drinks available, they were able to accommodate my request by offering a delicious mocktail instead. Our go-to order is always the chicken and rib combo, and on one occasion when I received a chicken leg instead of a breast, they kindly replaced it without any fuss. Overall, we have always had a great experience dining here and have never encountered any issues with our orders."

"I went to Frankies and Bennys for dinner tonight. I was not impressed with the food or the service. We ordered the same main meals, but one portion was larger than the other. One of our meals was very dry and lacked sauce and meat. The service was poor, as the staff did not inquire about our meal satisfaction. Most of the staff were chatting by the open kitchen bar. When serving our food, they did not ask if we needed anything. When I asked for cheese, it took longer than expected for someone to bring it. I have dined here many times before without any issues, but I was disappointed with the meal and service this evening."

"Booked a table for 5.30 so it wasn’t busy for a birthday meal only 2 adults 2 kids had a garlic pizza and potatoe skins for starters the main food was served a while later most of it was on verge of cold sent chicken back as was not hot got a newly reheated one! Expensive chicken meal thin dry bit of chicken with bacon on it Chips were only slightly warm kids pasta was not hot only the meatballs had a bit of steam bad meal will never return should of been piping hot when served to the table must of been cooked with the starters and sat on side for 15 minutes awful meal and wasn’t cheap won’t be returning no wonder the restaurant was empty only good thing was the staff were polite"

"Went with my family today and just wanted to praise the staff. Everyone very good and grest atmosphere but Luke has excellent customer service skills. A step above and does credit to the team.I cannot get my Mum out that much because of her wheel chair but the facilities are great. "Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"Came today and received great service, was a short wait on food, but not incredibly bad. It was very busy and had a great atmosphere for families, we sent the kids over to the barman who was running back and forth with drinks orders to blow them some balloons up and he did it with no bother, what a true gent! Our waitress was lovely. Food was hot and my milkshake was fantastic, go for the freak shakes!!!"

"We attended this Frankies after having positive experience in other venues. We were greeted extremely well and showed to a table . The restaurant was empty other than the staff (9.00am ish). After ordering the door arrived very quickly and we started to eat. The...food has definitely been sitting under heat lamps for some time and was dry and hard to cut. My husband and I discussed that although we were happy pay for the food we should say something to the management team as this really was not how food in a very quiet restaurant should be presented. We told the manager our thoughts and all explained we were still happy to pay but thought they should know. The manager was very polite and offered us a free coffee and a discount on the food. It was handled very professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I doubt we I’ll return after this experience and try another outlet at the airport. Training needed for the (chef) cooks."

"ah, the romanticism of American diners. these great burgers, phil y steaks and louisiana wings, massive milkshakes and divine deserts. it's all a recipe for a big night outside, and a big dive into her pockets! So, taking into consideration, at almost 16 pfund for a double stack, double cheese burger with fritten and koleslaw, this better worth every penny! the good news is, it's almost. a burger experience that I'll never forget after I took an exhausted and taste tasting, the Irish beef pomet was unforgettable delicious, fleshy, tasteful and lets you beg more. there is no lack of cheese what they need on a burger, these big and most burgers usually fall short on this front, a big 'no', if ever there was one. They also get noble stone salat, a gorgeous disc of tomato, pick and sauce. fries were delicious and they have no lack of sauces to choose from coleslaw, was made fresh and the best I ever had and the coffee was unlimited! the only minus is the price and much too much sauce on the burger, but the experience and quality overall was incredible. we even get happy birthday and party songs through the sound system that creates an unforgettable, joyful opportunity, and service and punctuality was also recommended top-dollar!"

"I've visited this restaurant several times, and each time has been consistently positive. The quality of the food is excellent, and the portion sizes are quite generous, especially the hotdogs. The ground floor access is great for those with disabilities, as there are no steps to navigate. While there can be occasional wait times, especially during peak hours, it’s to be expected. The prices are reasonable, though they do feel a bit high considering the time it sometimes takes to receive your order after placing it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The kids love the food, and they even get little activities to keep them entertained while they wait. That said, I have experienced wait times ranging from 30 to 70 minutes for food—an eternity for a child in a warm, crowded restaurant. Parking is convenient, but it can be a bit tricky on weekends and during the evening since it’s shared with other businesses. Cleanliness has been an issue on a few occasions, but the staff are always willing to address any concerns when asked."

"The food was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect from their breakfast menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sausages were excellent (I always judge a breakfast by the quality of the sausage). The hash brown was impressively large, about the size of a quarter! As a delightful surprise, they brought out a beautiful strawberry dessert with a candle on a long plate, decorated with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce. It truly made my fiancée's day, and she's still talking about it! It’s the little touches that mean so much. A huge thank you to Frankie and Benny's for such a wonderful and unforgettable breakfast experience! I’d rate it a perfect 10/10!"

"We tried four different restaurants including Suffolk Foodhall, Oyster Reach, and Harvester, but they were all too busy on a Saturday morning at 10:00. My daughter then suggested trying Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had gone there first, as they actually had plenty of seating and it was quite quiet. We went in, ordered our food, and it came out quickly. The staff were lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. I didn't realize they were still open, but the food was delicious and well-presented. The full English breakfast for £10.50 included eggs, sausage, toast, black pudding, beans, and mushrooms, all of which were cooked perfectly. The bacon was also delicious. There were 11 of us dining, and the young lady serving us was very attentive and kind. She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The overall experience was good and clean, with a nice atmosphere for those looking for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend trying Frankie and Benny's if you are in the area and looking for good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there."

"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"A Christmas function with over 70 guests in one sitting would be a challenge for most but not for this team. All the staff were simply superb and served us all with with a great attitude and a smile on their face. They were attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our waiters included Kara, Jay and Amdi amongst others. A big shout out also to the chefs and kitchen staff. All the meals were delivered in a timely manner, superbly prepared and hot. No mean feat when the party is so large. Thank you to all the team at Frankie and Bennys Dudley. We will be back next year for sure"

"This is the first time I've ever refused to pay for a meal! I tried one of five tiny, plastic-tasting mushrooms and the yolk of an overcooked egg. The bacon was cold, and my partner confirmed that her waffles were also cold. The waiter even mentioned that the waffles were over two hours old! I decided to speak with two staff members about my concerns, and the manager eventually offered me a generous 20% discount. After further discussion, they raised it to 50%, citing that I had eaten more than half of my meal. I must say, I found the entire conversation frustrating and unproductive (neither my partner nor I were satisfied). To sum up: AVOID this place!"

"I recently visited Frankie & Benny’s for the first time while searching for a place that offers both vegan and meat options. Dinner was excellent, and we both really enjoyed it. I had the vegan tortellini, which was delicious. However, I had to deduct a star for breakfast the following morning. We ordered both vegan and meat options, and the experience was quite disappointing for me. I received a piece of burnt toast, some unappetizing tofu, and avocado that had a bitter aftertaste, along with guacamole that I didn’t like. After having tried several vegan breakfasts over the weekend, this was by far my least favorite. I would definitely return to Frankie & Benny’s for dinner, but I’m hesitant about breakfast."

"We had an outstanding dining experience with excellent food and exceptional service. The staff's drink recommendations were fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations. "Came into a busy ish restaurant, went to the bar to get a drink while we waited for our table. Sat at the bar, looked at the drinks menus and the barman completely ignored us. We had to say excuse me can we order some drinks? The guy didn't smile, or even speak he just stood there waiting for out order. I ordered a glass of wine the glass was filthy!You could see the smeared lipstick all round the rim, bits on the glass, and it was wet. REVOLTING! I asked for another glass and showed him how disgusting the glass was, and he poured my wine into another disgusting glass! The manager came to the bar at this point, and I said to her Do you think I could have a clean glass for my wine, I have had two gross ones so far! She hand washed a clean glass.My friends glasses were not clean either.We were sat, and our order was taken by a very cocky waiter.Our food arrived, and we asked where the slaw was which was on 3 of our orders. We were told there wasn't any! What the HELL????!!! You tell the customer that when they order, not when you put the food down! What a joke! AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! I think it is a great idea if the company that owns Frankie and Benny's shuts them all down they a disgrace to your company."

"Took my partner to try the new Vegan menu. We were very impressed. 3 courses and all were amazing. Fresh and presented well. The chocolate lava pudding was one of the best desserts ever and was actually Vegan. Table was good and atmosphere warm. Staff all seemed friendly and happy to be there. We were served by Aaron who was very good and made sure we were looked after. We will be going back guaranteed and yesterday evenings outing was well worth it. Fabulous dinner"
