"On Thursday 25th May 2023, I dined with a group of friends at a restaurant. The food was excellent and our waitress provided great service. We all enjoyed our meals and had cocktails, but unfortunately, I experienced some health issues due to the high sugar content in my drink. The Manageress, Katie, was incredibly helpful and made sure I was well taken care of before leaving. She even followed up with a phone call the next day to check on my wellbeing. Katie's exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations, and we will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future, although I will be avoiding cocktails."

"I’m absolutely disgusted to have visited this restaurant and to be asked upon arrival if I have any allergies, to which I responded yes and explained I cannot eat onion or garlic. I then went on to order the carbonara and asked the waitress to confirm with the chef that there is no onion or garlic in the sauce, to which she said she cannot check. The host who seated us explained she would let the chef know of my allergies so I’m unsure what the difference is. Surely the person who is cooking the food within the kitchen is able to advise what ingredients is in the dish. I was informed this is company policy and they can’t check the packaging, however when I visited the Cheshire oaks restaurant the waiter was incredibly helpful and checked the packaging of the chicken for me to assist. I feel discriminated against for having allergies, that are totally out my control. I was told by the waitress that she is protecting the company’s reputation as you would be liable if she checks… what would make you more liable is if I order something after telling you of my allergies and then I have a reaction. You seriously need to rethink your policy. Every other restaurant I ever visit will adapt their dishes to suit my allergies, as should all food establishments. I was told you will only confirm the top 14 allergens… as though people with all other food allergies are irrelevant! I have never been made to feel so discriminated against in my life. Disgusting!"

"Came here for lunch before children returned back to school. We were seated straight away and greeted by our server Rowan our drinks and food order were wanted promptly. Have to give a special shout out to Server Lily who remembered our daughter from our last visit always so happy and friendly. "I have been to this restaurant twice as a vegan and have always been delighted. The beet burger is absolutely delicious, and the Mediterranean salad is a perfect choice for a light and refreshing meal. I would also strongly recommend trying the chocolate fudge cake. It has always been my favorite dessert, and I was overjoyed to see it on their vegan menu."

"I recently dined at Francie Bennys in Coventry and it was absolutely terrible. Let me tell you a joke – I would have been better off going to Burger King instead. I ordered a cajun chicken sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was soggy and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The portion of fries was so small, I could count them – there were exactly 23. The chicken sandwich was also disappointing as it was served stone cold. It seemed like they had just reheated a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving it. The sandwich cost £9.95 and a coke was £2.10, making a total of £12.05 for a meal that even a dog wouldn't want to eat. I didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, but I definitely won't be returning."

"First of all, service was great with the waiting staff! We had a really nice waiter. The food not good! Not fresh ingredients at all. I ordered chicken mushroom penne in a fresh creamy sauce! I got what I can only describe as condensed mushroom soup mixed through pasta with some chicken! It was tasteless, bland and certainly not fresh ingredients. I sent it back and replaced it with potato skins with bacon, cheese and chive! These things came out of a freezer! They were sent back also! If I was in a cheap place I could see why it was cheap, but I was not, Franky and Benny’s is not a cheap place! The waiter took both the pasta and potatoes off the bill and was very apologetic, as I said, service great as usual, but the food? No thanks!"

"We walked in as a family of 7 on a Sunday evening after having seen a film at the nearby cinema. We were shown to a table right away, a round one which made chatting easy. "visited here for dinner (in the afternoon) on our shopping tour with our 3 children. menu for the lunchtime that was good and still a decent selection. the children's dishes are good and all 3 young have enjoyed their meal. it's a shame that you can't get 2x sides, although some of the meals are quite small. I chose the halloumi wrap I really regretted that I love halloumi, but there was so much salat and avocado that I could not even taste the halloumi in it, very disappointing. my man had the bbq bark pack he said was really nice. I thought the options were pretty cumbersome if they don't want chocolate or not. Too bad they don't have a strawberry or eton chaos sunflower. I tried the cream egg cookie dough at the end and it was very rich, in any case must come with ice. our waitress was nice, very fast. it's a good box stop for lunch, but I'd definitely get something else when we go back."

"Our daughter has never in the past years been home for her birthday due to commitments in the first weeks of the school holidays and is only home for an evening in the middle ao we wanted to something special for her (albeit a couple of days early) We were picking her up from near Derby so we thought a trip on the way home to Sheffield would be a good idea. I found F&B restaurants in the area and plumped for this one. I booked for at and relaxed. Until the day before when I could not find the confirmation. So I booked again. The discovered with horror the first confirmation in my junk items. I promptly cancelled that one but then panicked that it would be construed as both being cancelled. As we had a cake I popped in before we went to pick her up. The staff were great, took the cake off me and reassured me that the booking was there. Off I went. Next panic came at when we realised we were running early. I needn't have worried. A quick call to the restaurant confirmed we could get there early. When we arrived there was only one other group sitting. This would ordinarily have worried me but after the fantastic service so far it didn't. First thoughts turned to a banner, not asked for, but so thoughtful saying birthday girl Never had that at a F&B before but wow, my daughter's face lit up. Should have said earlier that she has no clue we had planned this. Balloons galore at a corner table and we settled in. Great that we were not pressed to decide our food, bit could take our time. The waitress explained that they did not have any pineapple so Hawaiian pizza was off the menu. But she helpfully offered alternatives and we ordered. The meals came together and were hot (unlike my last F&B experience in Scunthorpe). The pizzas of us), lasagne and burger were well cooked and everyone tooked in. The obligatory is everything ok visit came but not before we had had chance to eat something and also a request for a top up of drink was met speedily (again Scunthorpe take note). Puddings again arrived promptly and together (yes this does matter) and after a nod the cake arrived. A great early evening for us s we headed home happy. Thank you to the team at F&Bs Manor Road, Derby for making one birthday girl feel extremely happy and one dad the most happy he has been with a dining experience for a long long time. "This was our first and last visit to the restaurant. My wife and I ordered steak that would have required a chainsaw to cut through. Our two daughters ordered meatballs but were instead served spaghetti bolognese. To their credit, they didn’t mind and accepted the mix-up. The waitress was polite and apologized about the steaks, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. One steak was so tough that it was like chewing on an old boot. We decided against dessert, not wanting to waste any more money. The only redeeming feature of our meal was the Stella Artois, which was perfectly chilled. We came to Birmingham after visiting Cadbury World in North Wales for a birthday treat, hoping to finish our day at a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations."

No booking but we’re seated straight away, drinks order taken immediately brought over before we’d even gotten our coats off. We shared the starter for 2 which was really good, probably the highlight of the visit. The mains were quick to follow were really tasty filling. Would have loved a dessert but were too full, will do next time though. The drinks were refreshed during our visit, the staff were polite prompt. Looking forward to coming again! "For my daughter’s birthday she chose to have breakfast with family and friends at Frankie and Benny’s and we were really well looked after. There is free parking here and it is adjacent to the restaurant which is on the perimeter of Crown Point North shopping centre. We received a warm welcome and a table for ten was waiting for us. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was good. Ellis was our waiter and he was courteous, polite and friendly for the duration of our visit. I felt that they could have benefitted from more resources at times, as the restaurant got busy at one point and Ellis and his manager seemed under pressure. But the food arrived in decent time and was all delicious. Drinks were sometimes a little slow arriving but we were kept informed. The vegan and vegetarian fry ups were lovely. Ellis kindly brought out a birthday cake for my daughter and allowed us to use ten plates and forks which was appreciated. All in all we spent two hours in the restaurant, we felt looked after and everyone enjoyed their breakfast."

"Having originally gone to the Crafty Dragon pub nearby and left due to not getting our food after an hour wait, we went here and could not have received better service! On arrival we asked the manageress if there was a wait on food because we had waited for over an hour elsewhere. We were informed that there was no wait but she also brought us free dough balls after we were seated before we even ordered anything to help calm our appetites! From here we continued to receive fantastic service, letting us know which meals would take longer to make and they checked on us regularly throughout our visit.
