"We ordered street food which came at different times which would of been good to know. Most of the food arrived but we was waiting for 15 20 minutes where we was then asked what we was waiting for this should of been something the waitress knew. We were told there was a problem in the kitchen and therefore would take another 20 30mins which isn’t acceptable when you’ve been in the restaurant for 1hour 15mins. Due to the poor service they should of given some sort of food will. We won’t be returning anytime soon."

"On arrival we informed the hostess that we had an offer that was a meal and a drink for £5.99 , she told us it was only for a meal but we told her the offer included a drink and showed her the offer , she again said it was only for the meal but would ask her manager , she came back and told us that the manager had said the same that it was only for a meal , I showed the manager the voucher and she said she would go and check the terms and conditions , she came back and told us we were actually right , we had an email with the headlines “ Meal and a drink for £5.99” It made us feel very uncomfortable and we could not wait to leave !"

"We came here for my sister’s 18th, which was the first time in years, and it definitely didn’t disappoint; food is lovely, prices are fair and the staff are friendly. There is a wide range of food and drink on the menu and the food arrived quickly after ordering. My sister got a complimentary ice cream with a candle for her birthday as the staff sung to her which was a lovely gesture (although she was a little embarrassed! . Mark was especially lovely and made us laugh whilst we were there! We will be back again soon."

"we have eaten many paints in this restaurant in recent years, but it seems to us that the service and restaurant itself is getting worse and worse! first, on our last visit the host said that our booking was not registered over open table to the luck that we had lucky that another couple had canceled so that we had their table. it took a very long time to serve our main course after we finished our starters, I had to ask the times where that was eating, and every time we show a cinema to get, we had booked the restaurant for an hour and a half before we had to leave so that it was much time to serve our food and have eaten for us. the chicken pasta was bland and tasteless, so was hardly eaten. finally, the music in the restaurant was played so loud that we had to scream to have heard us; not what they would expect in a restaurant. we will not come to visit there for a long time!"

"eat well, service terrible. we were here with the family, we were 30 minutes early, so server said we could sit, but would have to wait up to 2 our shipped time before we served, never known before. we asked if we could have drinks, and after ten minutes they took our order, but it was 10 minutes before we got them. placed food order a5unsere prescribed time that came to eat and it was really good. they forget the pfeffer grain sauce, but that came when we asked. had to wait for a particularly long time until my enkelin eis came, had to ask twice. I think there were probably not enough staff in the kitchen because there was enough on the floor and it was not very busy. so it was a thumb for eating, but service terrible"

"I recently visited Frankie and bennys at the rock with my boyfriend. We couldn’t order on the app as it wasn’t working so the waitress was straight over and took our order. The starters come out pretty much straight away and were delicious! Garlic pizza...was worth it, however I got the Mac and cheese bites, and for the price of it you only get which I was slightly disappointed in. The mains took quite awhile to come out, but it was quite busy with the lunchtime rush, so didn’t mind waiting. I ordered the chicken Parma hero sub and it was honestly amazing!! recommend! Although don’t get a starter as it’s so big I couldn’t finish it, which I was upset about because it was so good! My boyfriend got the classic cheese burger, however it was very over cooked and didn’t taste very nice, looked like cheap quality meat. He hardly touched his meal which was a shame. Overall I was happy with the service and the meal, however don’t order the burger as you will be disappointed!"

"Went here with friends. We were four adults and four children between 4 7. Great food, great atmosphere. Service was slightly slow and had to ask for the kids desserts, but staff were really positive and good with the kids. Would be hair to go back again. "was exited to go to frankie and benny’s after a long day in cardiff, and was soon very disappointed when we ordered our food and it then took over an hour for our food to actually arrive. bare in mind there was only two other people in the whole restaurant and was not busy in the slightest. we had all ordered off the kids menu which we had thought would take a quicker time to arrive. we waited over an hour for the food to arrive and when we asked the server how long our food will take she said 5 minutes, this was wrong as it then came 10 minutes later at which this time we were all very upset and very hungry. when the food finally came the wait was not worth it!! i ordered pasta and mashed potato, the mash potatoes was dry and chewy and the pasta had no flavour and was just bland. Because of the awful service we decided that it would be better to takeaway our desserts instead of wait longer to eat them in the restaurant. the chef had told us the desserts will be two seconds and we had to wait another 10 minutes and on top of that they didn’t give us any cutlery and so we had to eat our ice cream with our hands. very upset and disappointed and this disgusting behaviour. not visiting ever again."

"I celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Frankie and Benny's after another restaurant wouldn’t allow for a mascot or any of the party elements I had planned. They immediately agreed to accommodate everything, and my little girl had a fantastic birthday. We made quite a mess, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to fully enjoy her special day. I want to give a special shoutout to Jenny and Gemma for their exceptional service. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere for a children's party. Thank you!"

"My family and I visited this restaurant yesterday 17/6/23 our server Elif was welcoming, polite, and attentive. We had a very pleasant meal, served in good time..it was very well presented, and lovely and hot! We ordered drinks as well as jugs of water.. we were all very warm! The restaurant was very pleasant to sit in with the air on working well to keep us cool and comfortable.. After our food arrived I specifically asked for some coleslaw.. and I later learnt that the manager had sourced some from a neighbouring restaurant as they were sold out! I was truly blown away by the lengths that the staff went to to make our experience as enjoyable as it was! It’s hard to find a restaurant now-a-days where you can go and have such a lovely overall experience! The team went above and beyond and I feel they need recognition for their hard work! This is not the first visit we made.. and due to a pleasant experience the first time, we returned and the standard was just as good! Special mention for Gerald, thank you so much for the slaw! Hugely appreciate the effort you went to! Exceptional team at F&B Cribbs! Highly recommend anyone considering a trip! You won’t be disappointed!"

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time in two weeks. The first time we went, the service was not great and the waiter made mistakes with our orders because they didn't speak English well. However, on our second visit, we were able to use a voucher that we hadn't been able to use before. The service was better and faster this time. The food was tasty, although my partner's crab dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back. When it finally came out, it was delicious. This restaurant may not be the best choice for a quiet evening out, as there were always children dining and it could get quite noisy."

"Came in for a meal after a trip to trafford Centre. Really fast service, nice food, decent prices. Kids meals are a very generous size, even the smaller bites! Love that they gave kids colouring sets and also really liked that steak was on the kids menu, I’ve got a 5 year old who is a huge fan of steak but normally can’t order it as a child. Only thing I didn’t like was the strawberry and lime ice cream cake because it tasted like a frozen cheesecake but that’s down to personal preference. "My husband and I visited the restaurant today at 5pm and were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order for two coffees and two waffles. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and another 35 minutes for the waffles. Despite the coffee being okay, the waffles were cold and extremely chewy. The dish consisted of three pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl that only covered one section of waffle, and a small jug of syrup. We were truly disappointed with the quality of the food and felt like we should have lodged a complaint as we were unhappy with what we paid for. While waiting, I observed the chef slamming a plate down and leaving the order slip on top of the food for 8 minutes before a waitress took it away. We have visited Frankie and Benny's many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were very disappointed."

"We attended this Frankies after having positive experience in other venues. We were greeted extremely well and showed to a table . The restaurant was empty other than the staff (9.00am ish). After ordering the door arrived very quickly and we started to eat. The...food has definitely been sitting under heat lamps for some time and was dry and hard to cut. My husband and I discussed that although we were happy pay for the food we should say something to the management team as this really was not how food in a very quiet restaurant should be presented. We told the manager our thoughts and all explained we were still happy to pay but thought they should know. The manager was very polite and offered us a free coffee and a discount on the food. It was handled very professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I doubt we I’ll return after this experience and try another outlet at the airport. Training needed for the (chef) cooks."

"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"
