"I don't often go to eat, but I love frankie bennys. at the various locations I can go and it is always a tasty bite. eating is nice and my two children ate for free. they have great cocktails and the service is friendly and fast. I would like to distinguish at least a few workers petronella and sam who made our visit even more pleasant. if they don't have to pre-book they might have to wait for the table, so better to make calls in advance. I have no complaints and my family loves it."

"I made a reservation for a table for 8 people at 6:15 through OpenTable, but when I arrived, they had not received my booking, which was not my error but an OpenTable mistake. We had to wait until 6:45 for the next available table, which was only designed for 6 people. After I asked about our order, we were finally served our food at 7:30. By then, my hungry and hyper 3-year-old son was running around the restaurant. The 7 burgers, buns, and onion rings we ordered were cold and tasteless, with soggy bases, but the fries were very hot. We also had to wait again for the children's desserts, which was ice cream. We had to ask for our bill and ended up leaving disappointed with a group of bored children who had been sitting at a small table for too long and given poor quality food. Spending £105 for the worst evening out in a long time is not something I would recommend or repeat."

"Prebooked a table for people. We were crammed on a person table if that despite the restaurant being practically empty with much bigger tables. It was clear we were struggling and not once were we offered the chance to move. We had to...call someone over to take our drinks order. She didn’t come to take the order for at least minutes after saying she was coming then one drink never turned up so after about minutes of waiting we had to ask for it again. The food arrived at the same time which was good but unfortunately nobody had cleared our salad bowls so we couldn’t fit the mains on properly and some plates were practically bare. There was only a quarter of rotisserie chicken left when we ordered so we had to swap to a chicken breast which was ok but when a lot of the food is fatty and the ribs are undercooked without the bbq sauce on at all like stated on the menu that isn’t acceptable. It was very clear the staff were keeping the guests in one area of the restaurant for their convenience but it backfired when someone from the door marked ‘Private’ shouted something so loudly every guest turned and looked in shock. There was no explanation or apology. The staff just came out one by one smiling and laughing after they’d all rushed through to the back to see what was going on. Very unprofessional! It’s my first time visiting Wales and I’d had this Harvester recommended to me but I’ll never go back to it no matter how many times I visit in the future!"

"had a fantastic night cocktail in revolution for a friend hen at night yesterday. the manager tom was an amazing host, and carter who took our master class was very professional and fun. Although we make a few cocktails in the evening, we both felt especially and not just another group of customers. well worth the money, especially the double money offer. we had planned to hike the wind street after, but the atmosphere and the music was so good, we stayed and danced the night away. Many thanks to to tom carter and the personal of the revolution that it was such a great night xx"

"Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely appalling. I went with my mother and younger brother, to begin with everything was fine, we were seated and served quickly and even the food came out quickly. Despite this the burger was bland and nearly cold, then my brother, who is only 2 years old, starts to eat his chicken and due to how tough it was, he started choking. Unfortunately this led to him throwing up at the table, my mother and I were already quite panicked so I ran to a waitress for some tissues, she avoided the area, didn 't help us move our food to another area and didn 't bother to check if my brother was alright and handed me a disinfectant cleaning spray to clean up the mess rather than getting a brush or any other cleaning equipment. Just when we thought the experience couldn 't get worse, the other waiters all started avoiding our table despite walking around us multiple times and noticing we had finished eating; finally one waiter approached, he coldly asked if we were done, didn 't offer any dessert despite the fact it comes included with the kids meal, practically threw the receipt onto the table and then proceeded to point out to my mother(who is heavily pregnant) that there 's a black bin bag on the table so we can pick up our bits meaning we were expected to clean up my brothers sick, after their own food was at fault for causing the choking, with nothing but tissues. I 've never seen such horrible service. We 'll never be returning to this restaurant and I don 't recommend anyone else go there either."

"visited Nandos on 11/04 with my family for my mother’s birthday meal and family from wales and Portsmouth we’re down with us too to join us for their first nandos and the staff there are disgusting, the behaviour was appauling. When we first arrived we were greeted rudely by the staff member Beck. She spoke down to us and told us we are unable to be seated or served even though there was multiple empty tables and enough space, the manager Alex was then called over who again was very rude. He too said we can’t be seated but could if we was split into 3 groups which made no sense considering how many spaces were available. We were also told they close in an hour but were able to seat us at 9:30 which made no sense considering that was an hour after we had arrived. Beck was very condescending and rude and Alex was disgustingly rude. We then decided we will order take out. While order take out our cousin confused one of the members of staff with one of our family members saying ‘oh there he is , he’s just speaking to the manager’ and we said that’s not him he’s outside and we just laughed at how she got confused. We then got up to order and as we were in the queue Alex then came upto us and said we were being refused to be served and kicked out. We were very confused as we had not done anything and he had then accused us of pointing at staff members and laughing. This was disgusting as we would never ever do something like this. He would not let us speak and kept telling us we had to leave and get out and nothing was going to be done. I said how disgusting it was to be accused of laughing at staff members, what kind of people do you think we are. He did this in the middle of the restaurant for everyone to see making us feel humiliated and this is something I did not expect from nandos. He raised his voice and was very aggressive and patronising. As someone who is taller than me he enjoyed standing infront of me to show he was taller than me to intimidate me and this was very patronising and disgusting I felt the need to take a step back. The way I have been treated and spoke to was appalling. After this experience with nandos I will be telling friends family and posting about this on social media to make people aware of how Ashton Moss nandos treat people and how Nandos staff treat people. This was humiliating and disgusting and I feel embarrassed about this. This is my local nandos and this made me feel very under valued as a very loyal and regular customer. I would have never expected this from a manager or front of house staff. Absolutely disgusting. This experience has completely ruined my mothers birthday meal and you ruined her whole day. She left upset and honestly I left in tears after the way I was spoke to by management Alex."

"Today, we visited the restaurant for my son's 11th birthday celebration with his friends. We ordered our main dishes and milkshakes from the menu. We wanted to order dessert, but we only had 25 minutes before we had to leave for laser tag. We inquired with the server if we would have enough time, and she assured us that we would. We decided to order 4 desserts. Unfortunately, only 2 desserts arrived after 5 minutes, while the other 2, including the one for my son's birthday, arrived just as we needed to leave. This 20-minute delay in serving the desserts caused my son to be upset as we had to rush through his birthday dessert. As a result, we were late for laser tag and missed a game. When I questioned the delay, I was informed that it was due to a new chef and was left with no further explanation. We also requested a balloon for each child, which was not provided, despite other children of similar age receiving them. When we inquired about the balloons, the server confirmed but never brought them. The food was mediocre, as we expected. Overall, it was one of the worst cases of service we have experienced."

"Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it."
"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"Although we have been to F and Bs before we were disappointed this time round. Firstly the attachment highchair for my son, although the right size and nice to have him at the table was quite dirty. As it was made of canvas it would be hard to clean and did have a smell to it. The restaurant itself was very noisy and we had to really shout to hear each other at our table. The service however was good. Polite and prompt. However most disappointingly was that my wife discovered an inch long metal shard in her food! Staff apologised and made some fresh food but understandably she wasn’t too keen to eat any more and I was concerned what my children had eaten as this had a similar spaghetti dish. I would certainly think again before rebooking. Shame"

"First time visiting Frankie and Benny's with a friend. We were politely welcomed to a seat and asked if we would like anything to drink before the waitress left. We asked for some time to decide what we wanted to order. The waitress returned promptly after serving customers who were ready to order. This was reasonable time for us. We then ordered drinks and two courses each. A starter and a main. The drinks were brought over in good time for us to settle and have a chat. The starters arrived not long after. My friend ordered a garlic bread pizza which he described as greasy but tasty. I decided to have the mozzarella dippers which tasted bland, even with the sauce. A couple of them were overcooked. For our mains we ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and a plain 6oz burger with fries. The vegan burger was very tasty, however the sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but still rather nice. The plain 6oz burger arrived : not plain. It had to be sent back and corrected. However my friend was pleased with it once it came back. We were rather full afterwards and decided to pass on trying a dessert. We asked for the tab and it came back to us at an incorrect amount. We soon realised they charged for a jug of the cocktail I ordered instead of a glass and 2 servings of coke. We brought this up to the waitress and she fixed the issue with the cocktail but informed us that because we ordered the coke from the main menu, instead of the side menu (even though they are the same price) that the refills would not be free. 7/10 food. 6/10 service. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd go back in a hurry as there are far superior eateries for similar prices."
