"Prebooked a table for people. We were crammed on a person table if that despite the restaurant being practically empty with much bigger tables. It was clear we were struggling and not once were we offered the chance to move. We had to...call someone over to take our drinks order. She didn’t come to take the order for at least minutes after saying she was coming then one drink never turned up so after about minutes of waiting we had to ask for it again. The food arrived at the same time which was good but unfortunately nobody had cleared our salad bowls so we couldn’t fit the mains on properly and some plates were practically bare. There was only a quarter of rotisserie chicken left when we ordered so we had to swap to a chicken breast which was ok but when a lot of the food is fatty and the ribs are undercooked without the bbq sauce on at all like stated on the menu that isn’t acceptable. It was very clear the staff were keeping the guests in one area of the restaurant for their convenience but it backfired when someone from the door marked ‘Private’ shouted something so loudly every guest turned and looked in shock. There was no explanation or apology. The staff just came out one by one smiling and laughing after they’d all rushed through to the back to see what was going on. Very unprofessional! It’s my first time visiting Wales and I’d had this Harvester recommended to me but I’ll never go back to it no matter how many times I visit in the future!"

Have not been to this harvester for a very long time! What an improvement friendly helpful staff salad bar was well maintained looking fresh. All main meals order was hot and delicious!!! We will be returning to our local harvester

The food staff were great.. but PLEASE PLEASE bring back the help-yourself salad bar. So frustrating to have to hang around to wait for salad and then not be able to get the portions of the items you want. Makes service So much less...attentive as the staff have to half heartedly serve customers at the salad bar. View menu

Popped in as off chance on a sunday afternoon. Was quickly seated by the manager, nothing seemed to much trouble for any of the staff.. Got served by Leah.. she was very fast and polite. Food was served quickly and meals and plates were warm.....Will definitely return.. Thank you to all the staff at cwmbran.. made my visit a very good one. See you all soon

I visited the harvesting machine with my partner and her family, and we were immediately greeted at the door and was shown on a table, immediately we were just sitting for about seconds and our server was with us for a beverage order, I...think their name was xav he was absolutely fantastic and attentive and gave us recommendation, our food was absolutely amazing and we will surely return

We visited the restaurant on a very busy Good Friday. We were greeted and seated at our table right away, and our waiter Xavier quickly took our drink order. Our main courses were cooked quickly and perfectly. We all agreed that it was delicious and the portions were very generous. I brought my family to this restaurant last week for dinner. We were seated promptly and didn't have to wait long to order drinks, even though they were very busy. Our food arrived quickly considering the amount we ordered, although some of the sides were a bit cold by the time they got to our table. Our waitress, Tia, was efficient and friendly, always smiling and helping my elderly mother navigate the drink menu, which we appreciated. It had been a few years since we had dined at a Harvester, and she was helpful in explaining the salad bar concept. We also want to thank Ella, who served us at the salad bar, for being friendly and patient with our whole family.

I visited harvester in cwmbran and was very disappointed, it was very quiet and of us were put on a small table by the salad bar, there were plenty of bigger tables free but they were further away, I felt like we were sat...there just to make it easier on the staff. When I arrived some of the group were already sat with drinks, so I asked someone if I could order some drinks and hot told they would send someone over, it took about minutes for someone to come and take the order, of the drinks arrived but had to ask for the remaining order minutes later because they forgot it.
