"Absolutely loved our meal here my husband had Honey Chilli Chicken and I had Chilli Chicken all recommended and definitely not disappointed 5* all the way the meals were so tasty and more than enough portion size, the chutney was the best yet , waiters were helpful can't wait to return"

"Not very busy for New Year's Eve so lacking atmosphere. Food was okay but they had run out of lamb tikka so we ordered chicken tikka instead for one main course and this was served without the salad and sauce it should have become with. Overall the meal and ambience were just lacking something and we will probably dine elsewhere in future."

"Good value early bird meal. We had Chicken Tikka and vegetable samosa for starters, both lovely. The chicken Tikka was so tender. Then lamb bhuna and chicken madras, again lovely fresh flavours and well spiced. The peshwari naan bread was also perfect. Very good service. £5 service charge which we thought was reasonable. Would definitely eat here again. Thank you!"

"they don't judge a book. I would never have ordered after the loading front. but ordered from here a few times by chance from just eat. the first few paintings they were decent enough to not rave over, but good quality. tonight I ordered my usual and it came fast and was absolutely unrealistic. a decent amount of flavored and very tasteful. definitive improvement. I will order from here in future. 5 stars for me personally. edit: 10 times since my first review ordered. 9/10 were the top kerb curries. this evening rogan josh was absolutely ineffective. compliments to the cook."

"This restaurant was a bit of a disappointment given the good reviews. We ordered the mixed platter but only received 3 of the 4 items set out on the menu. When we complained the waiter insisted that Onion Bhaji and Vegetable Pakora was the same item, which I know it's not. We still got charged the full price. The waiter also cleared the plates while I was still eating, which I found rude. The restaurant was 3 quarters empty so no need to rush us. Food was average. I will neither return nor recommend this establishment. Given the vast number of Indian restaurants you're bound to find somewhere better."

"We were looking for somewhere for a bite one rainy night after visiting Tate Modern unfortunately wish we'd eaten elsewhere. The food prices were pretty reasonable/service was good but the food itself wasn't. Both entrees were really ordinary samosas likely came from frozen packet (and even then not cooked evenly), onion bhaji greasy and sweet both sitting in sweet yogurt which ruined taste. Tandoori chicken was OK (probably the best part of meal), however pretty sure it didn't come from a proper tandoor oven. Beef curry (Madras was really ordinary not authentic tasting felt like it was something you'd get at a pub and not an Indian restaurant."

"Never have I been to a restaurant where the food tasted as fresh delicious as in Funky Spice. I was visiting from America my friend her family took me there. The service was excellent. The food was so good we actually returned the following night to get something to go with our leftovers!"
