"We went there and being vegetarian i asked them over the phone if they have enough ! veg food available to which he said yet. I didnt have their menu so i just accepted what i was told. When we reached there and read the menu there were two veg starters only and the waiter was struggling to explain. Then the manager came and said i will make anything you want so it was not too bad. I had the best poppadom here with the siders i.e. raita/pickele/coconut stuff etc. Mains were ok ish. They brought it on a fire trolley which was nice to see. Mainly what i noticed it was popular for take aways. They paid more attention there and left their visiting customers in lurch and hence we had to wait 40 mins for the mains. others were getting frustrated. Overall ok for the price !!!"

Made the most of the bank holiday by going for a meal Sunday evening. Chose from the menu the meal for two deal. Delicious food and more than we could eat. We will be going again.

not very busy for silvester, so little atmosphere. eating was okay, but they had from lamm tikka so we ordered hühnertikka instead for a main course and this was served without the salat and sosse it should be. overall, the meal and the ambiente lacked only something and we will probably dinate in future elsewhere.

I visited the Miraj Indian Restaurant with my Wife. We both found the food to be very good quality and the service excellent with very polite and helpful staff. Good Value for money and included a free drink at the end of the night. Thank you to the staff at the Miraj for a pleasant evening. See you again soon. Michael Maria View menu

We should of known as we went in the door and they said they didn 't have our online booking (even though I had confirmation emails) that it was the beginning of a bad night to come. Service was dreadful even though there were many staff they just all hung around the bar doing very little. Waited about 15 minutes for them to take a drink order. A friend had a large beer was given a wine glass to drink it from. We were left sitting with dirty plates for at least 1/2 hr, could of been longer. Waited at least an 1 hr for our food. The place really has gone down hill. They have definitely lost 5 customers by giving such bad service.

Me my husband booked a table for 7pm on Saturday evening. There were many members of staff working on the night but the phone did not stop ringing for take-away orders. We waited one and a half hour for our meals. They actually bought our main courses out before our starter, so they quickly got our starters and as soon as we had finished it... Our main course was plonked in front of us. We did say to the waiter who gave us a drink on the house for the error but really waiting an hour and a half is too long. We have been here many times before will continue to go there but they need to ensure the customers eating in should not be forgotten if they are busy with take always.

"After reading all the good reviews we decided to try this restaurant and had high expectations We arrived to not a particularly warm welcome the waitress told us the specials were chicken, steak and veal and walked off no mention of how they were cooked or what sauces they came with and no prices after asking how the veal came the waitress had to go into kitchen and ask the chef who shouted out how they were cooked and the waitress then said did you hear that? we decided to just order off of the menu we ordered drinks to start with (a bottle of rose wine plonked on the table not even opened) when the lady came to take our order we asked if we could have a few minutes to finish our pre dinner drinks it was obviously a problem for her that we wanted to wait a short while and after being asked for about the fifth time we felt under pressure to place our order (even though the restaurant was half empty) whilst the pasta dishes were nice the garlic bread left a lot to be desired basically just a toasted slice of white dry bread as soon as we had finished our main course our plates were taken away and the bill put on the table we were not asked if we wanted anything else as we still had half a bottle of wine left we didn’t settle the bill straight away as we were enjoying our wine we lost count of the times they tried to ask us to pay again under immense pressure we paid and felt like we had to leave it was not a relaxing evening nor were we made to feel welcome. This restaurant specialises in pasta and pizza and we heard the waitress telling tow guys who wanted pizza that they only had enough dough left for one pizza they had run out and it was only 8.30! Overall our experience of this restaurant was very disappointing very rushed, unfriendly staff, no niceties and certainly not a relaxing evening we will not be returning."
