"I have frequented this restaurant many times in the past, but recently I have noticed a decline in quality. I decided to give them one last chance and ordered an extra large portion of Donner meat and chips. Unfortunately, I was once again disappointed. The amount of Donner meat was minimal, probably only about 10% of the dish. Essentially, I paid £7 for mostly chips. The prices have also increased significantly, while the portion sizes have become unreasonably small. This will be my final visit to this establishment."

"Amazing food as always, fantastic customer and delivery service. Very kind and polite, takes messages of food into account and prepares as requested. I have disabilities so I truly appreciate, staff's patience when delivering food. I feel guilty for constantly ordering from Balti Raj, I just can't stop. The food quality is amazing and honestly affordable. I have bought food from other restaurants, where the portion is just about enough for one person and everything is so expensive, that we have ended up going without food, at times. However, I have been grateful that we are getting something to eat and because of my grateful attitude. "2nd delivery ordered after a few weeks of trying Miah takeaway. The food that was delivered was tasty as the 1st time was. That said the service was somewhat questionable!! Firstly a food delivery arrived within the said time! Unfortunately it was a meal for 1 when we’d ordered for a family of 4, it wasn’t anything we’d ordered! Then after numerous calls by my wife (mainly just cut off) once answered we got the standard ‘we’ve got a new driver making mistakes’ ‘we are really busy and it will be there soon’. 2hrs after order the correct food arrives ‘we’d been asked to keep the food that originally arrived’ and we sent that back untouched as I’m not disposing of their error, we also had a number of ordered and paid for accompaniments not in the delivery!! So as a few words of advice for a company that provides good tasty food, if you get the service right you could clear up in terms of market share in this area, unfortunately you are falling short at this moment in terms of consistent high service delivery."

"This is our favorite restaurant for a dinner night out, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have celebrated my last three birthdays here and each experience has been fantastic. I am slowly working my way through the menu, and so far I have not tried a curry that I did not enjoy! The service is excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is also a 5 out of 5. The recommended dishes are the Tandoori Fish and Chicken 65. The price per person for dinner ranges from £20-30."

"We went for a special banquet menu which was good value however did feel a little rushed e.g. a course arrived before we had finished the first one. The food was very tasty with adequate portions and the staff were willing to adjust seasoning in any individual dish. As a course either coffee or a dessert was offered, I think they should stick to coffee. The dessert offered was a slice of vienetta icecream with very poor squirty cream' on top! When paying the bill a tip was assumed as no change came back to the table. (Not good"

"visited with a group of 18 to the breakfast. the staff was very accommodating to put all of us together at a place, even bringing an additional table when the number of what was expected increased. I had a big frit that filled my plate. coffee and teapots were regularly refreshed without it having to be demanded. the breakfast lasted a few hours, which is normal for our group. the coffee was good as the frit. beautiful clean cozy furnishings. they give me how if they found it helpful."

"I decided to take my sons out for a meal on a Sunday and it was our first time at Everest Inn. The service was excellent from the beginning and the food, from the starters to the main courses, was delicious. "Visited on a saturday night. Restuarant was more or less empty yet staff seemed to be rushing around. Quickly became evident this was due to takeaway orders The owner who is normally very friendly and recognises us as regular customers seemed less friendly. When asked at the end of the meal if everything was ok I politely stated I was disappointed with my meal but my husbands had been fine and was surprised to be challenged back that it 'looked like ' the curry I 'd ordered so I stated it didn 't taste like any kind of curry. It was chicken in a tomato sauce. I also wasnt the only person in the restuarant that night with the same experience. Therefore we requested and were quickly issued the full bill, paid and left and wont be back. Not only due to the quality of the meal but the surprising attitude displayed when we gave our requested feedback, lack of atmosphere, length of time we waited to have our drinks order taken, having the drinks ordered wrong and length of time to take our order. I had no issue with length of time waiting for freshly prepared food but if I order a certain curry I expect it to taste like that. Wht could have been a simple 'sorry about that ' could have been brushed off as a one off but the way it was handled has finished us off. Shame but I 'd rather drive over to Corstophine for a decent curry. Very sad as I 've always loved the place"

"very small restaurant at the side of the pub. It was fine. Food was good but service was strange. They brought the prossecco but the waitress said she couldn’t open it so we did it ourselves (although sue said she would get someone who could)!. The 2nd bottle she brought it already opened. The band arrived in the pub so it got a little noisy but it was ok as we knew there would be a band playing that evening. The food was good."

The food was outstanding, surpassing the quality of other Indian restaurants in the area that I have visited.
