"The service at this restaurant was awful. Our order was forgotten and arrived late, after we had already been waiting for an hour. When we called to inquire about our order, we were told that they had not even started preparing it. The staff member we spoke to was rude and unhelpful, offering no assistance or solution to the problem."

"I have been a big fan of the Red Tiffin for a while now. It is the best South Asian takeaway in the area with a good selection of meat-free options. However, I have had some mixed experiences with the staff at the counter. One of them is incredibly friendly and sweet, but there is another guy who can be quite rude. Unfortunately, his attitude has made me hesitant to order from here. It's a shame because other than that, I have had no other issues with this place."

"I haven't ordered from Lassani in a while, but I decided to give it a try tonight. The food arrived in just 20 minutes, much faster than the website indicated. The meal was delicious and the quality was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Dropped in for an evening meal with my wife. The restaurant was quiet but the food was delicious. We shared a garlic king prawn starter. The prawns were beautifully cooked and were a good size and the sauce was amazing. We both had a chicken tikka dish, I had south Indian garlic chilli and my wife a milder dish. The chiched was tender and tasty and the accompanying naan bread made for a great meal. Well worth trying this restaurant Service: Dine in"

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant."

"We ordered a selection of small plates to share, including the popular chicken tikka and lamb samosas. The flavors were incredible and the portion sizes were just right for a pre-theatre meal. The highlight of the evening was definitely the chicken biryani, which was fragrant and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the butter chicken and garlic naan. Overall, our experience at Dabbawal was fantastic and we left feeling satisfied and ready to enjoy the ballet. We will definitely be returning soon."

"the restaurant is very nicely decorated, but eating and service do not fit to this experience. we sat as close to other people on other tables as it was fed with them. we visited pre concert and chose the concert menu. the appetiser came within minutes of ordering, there was not much for the price. the main thing we had to wait for over 45 minutes, which it was not good, and we always said it was on the way. eating when it came, average curry was really. it was obviously boiled in a huge batch as it was on the set menu, so not sure why it took so long. the service was not great. we were never asked if it was in order or if we wanted a drink. we had only koks and that was quite expensive at £3 for a small bottle. Overall I think that the place is very nice, but eating was best on average and the service bad. the set menu was £25 per person who was not worth for what she actually got. we saw a 10% service fee on our bill that we were asked to be removed. it tried, but would not go back."

"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. "I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"We booked Shamoli for dinner at a time when Edinburgh restaurants were absolutely booked up (big rugby match and opening weekend of the Christmas markets), but this did not compromise the quality! Service was prompt and attentive without being over fussy and the quality of food was quite simply outstanding. We eat out a lot and felt that this was some of the best Asian influenced food we had eaten for a very long time. The spicing of the food was deep and full of flavour and stands up against some of the best Asian restaurants we have visited in places like Manchester, Bradford and Birmingham. This is a must visit restaurant!"

"Called restaurant to book table on the night and was amazed to see it full on arrival no empty tables at all. Hand sanitizer on table by door hardly used by patrons. Staff face masks NO Staff disposable gloves YES Reduced...table capacity NO Asked for contact number e-mail address NO Plastic screens NO If this is how eating out in August from Mon-Wed is going to be then I would rather pay full price and eat out at the weekend....at least there would be less chance of catching Covid-19!!! It has been a while since we have eaten here but feel the standard is definitely lower. No salad with samosas and onion bhaji dishes and poppadoms stale. Ordinary prawns in King Prawn dish and less chicken in the other dish....mainly sauce!!! Will be interesting to see what the owners response will be and whether improvements will be made going forward. I have eaten out quite a few times at different places and this was the worst establishment for social distancing."

"very good food and pleasant, attentive service. it was silvester and we have eaten very early before we went a party around the corner; we were the only people in the restaurant. I had one of the specialties of the cook, with lamb and bangladesch lime, and it was delicious. my friends had a selection of vegetarian besides dishes and the restaurant made helpful a veggie main to them especially since it did not seem to be vegetarian main course options on the menu. the most beautiful touch was that when another friend came to meet us as we finished eating, the waiter offered her to get an after-dinner mint, although she had not eaten with us!"

"Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"We were in UK last summer and were visiting Edinburgh. I made a mistake and did not do any research of the area for any Indian Restaurants in case of any exigency. The exigency arrived in a way that, my four year would not want to eat anything but Indian food. Seeing him so edgy and cranky we just dashed into the nearest available place and believe me it was a nightmare. The food was bad and service was worst. The basic courtesy was missing and it seemed that they wanted us to leave as early as possible. The vegetables were ok but Dal Tadka was smelly. The Tandoori Rotis were half burnt and when we asked for replacement what we got was half baked. Somehow we coaxed our little one to have...read more"

"I and the other half came here a few months ago and I have forgotten to write this review. we decided to do it after we did not find a scavenging Indian restaurant in SE18. there is a picture of joanna lumley on the front and a really nice modern decor. with a cellar, this place is hollow. you get the full table service here. a sharp denkschiff will run safely. my partner, no milk, meat alcohol drinker, has scanned the menu and found some probable dishes. they were all in the next-court selection and so we had some suitable appetizers and ordered a bottle of their finest foam water. we then moved on to what we were as our main fancied...read more"

"I have been a fan of this restaurant for over a decade since I first discovered it. Located in the heart of London, it is easy to find and close to our hotel. The area feels safe even at night, with many pubs and people around. The restaurant has a street-level dining area for those with mobility issues, as well as a smaller back room and a downstairs area for larger groups. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced for central London. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, which is why we always choose to dine here when in London for the night."
