"ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. GO TO REGENT GARDEN. I spent £95 on an order for collection. Chu chin chow got my order wrong and when I rang them they told me it was my mistake but they would re send the order. The order arrived. Then 2 men turned up late at night demanding money £8.20) that had to be paid. This money had already been paid. To send men to my house revving their engines in a quiet cul-de-sac with children sleeping is unacceptable and incredibly poor customer service. The manager was incredibly rude and condescending. To make things worse, the only reason we ordered from them was because regent garden was closed. Go to regent garden and please avoid at all costs."

"Ordered via Uber Eats...BIG MISTAKE . Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was £12 but if you go in its inly £6.90. Curry sauce almost £5 a tub, small prawn crackers £3.05, fried rice £4?!!!!Clearly hiking up prices for uber eats. £55 total for our meal which would have cost about £20 less going into the shop. If you plan on ordering from here do not use Uber Eats. Lessons learned! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30"

"The service was prompt, though the food arrived slightly cold. However, it tasted great (even my picky cats enjoyed my dish, as well as the beef and mushroom combo starter). The starter plate was a good deal and just the right portion size. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to add more vegetables to the baked rice dish, as it felt more like plain cooked rice. The restaurant also offered complimentary spring rolls and fortune cookies, making it a good value overall. I would certainly return for another meal."

"I have been a loyal customer of Rainbow Garden for over 7 years and continue to choose them for all my Chinese food needs. I particularly appreciate the clear and friendly service provided by the woman who answers the phone. She makes ordering a pleasant and efficient experience, which is important to me as I can get impatient with phone conversations. There have been times when I have requested special dishes and she has always been accommodating and helpful. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and I am always satisfied with my takeout orders from Rainbow Garden. The quick delivery time is also a huge plus, with my food arriving at my door in about 20 minutes. If this takeaway shop ever closed, I would be truly disappointed. "We have been using this restaurant since we moved to the area in 2019. The menu which has changed recently in my opinion is awful. They have taken away lots of the menu items, rearranged the menu in the weirdest headings but most of all the food quality has dropped massively. It’s time to find a new Chinese restaurant to deliver some better food with a more regular and standard menu. What a shame that it has gone so down hill."

"UPDATE!!! I want to update my review about this place, I went there today and get refund and chicken curry with egg fried rice. I think that really nice from the owners. I want to recommend this place to everyone, other day I get a chicken chow mein which was very nice and big portion also. Curry chicken with egg fried rice was also very good ! They are using fancy pachages as well. I will come back to this place every time! Be carefull about this place. I just was there to order a Chicken Curry and Egg fried rice. Woman on the till said to me that will be 10.90£ so i paid for it collect my order and went home. I saw a portion of curry and a quality of both of them I checked a prices. I suppose to pay 8.40£. They overcharge me 2.50£ be really careful and ask for receipt every time! Never come back there again"

"Fantastic western Chinese restaurant situated next to the Bull pub. They offer an all you can eat option on certain days (as long as you finish what you order and don't leave uneaten dishes or they'll charge extra, which is more than fair). The food is very tasty and well prepared and the portions are just right. All the classics are there such as crispy chilli beef, kung po chicken etc. Food comes out quickly, but sometimes you are left waiting for dishes, when it would be preferable if they all arrived at once, but a small niggle and probably unavoidable. Again, great western Chinese cuisine at a good price, recommended."
