"This wonderful pub was located right around the corner from out hotel. The first night we tried it it was very busy, after being seated we realized why. The menu has wide range of options from their pies . My favorite became the Nicholson 's Pale Ale Pie. This has a generous amount of steak in a flaky crust Garlic Chicken Schnitzel. We knew we would be going back. The Ocean Fish Chips didn 't disappoint nor did the Beef Brisket Burger. They have a good selection of beer on tap and whiskeys served by the dram. The people are friendly and no matter how busy they are, you don 't feel rushed. Ss you enter the pub, make note of all the Sherlock Holmes trivia in the cases and while you are sitting in the pub."

"3 friends and I take it in turn to visit a venue in Staffordshire . I had booked a table for 4 at another venue just outside Leek but they were shut and had omitted to let me know. So, we ended up at Leek bar and grill by chance . The place was busy, but they were able to accommodate us, if we were willing to wait for a bit, which we were . There is a variety of cold hot starters, and the choice of mains is broad enough for everyone to find something they will enjoy. Despite the fact that the place was busy , which is always a good sign, service was prompt and we were well looked after.There was a good atmosphere and all of us enjoyed our dishes . The food is well presented, the portions big enough. I would not hesitate to recommend go back to this place next time I am in Leek."

"Fed up of playing the 'is it open, is it closed ' game. A few times i 've gone down when it says online its open only to find it closed. One minute they have delivery drivers, the next they don 't. Delivery drivers seemed to leave within a couple of weeks. Finally managed to catch it open during lunch one day. Phoned and placed an order for a panini box meal thing. Woman on phone said it would be 10/15mins. So nipped down on my 30 min lunch break, for the man to tell me she had gone out to buy produce to make my panini and that she wouldnt be long now. (think i heard him mention to someone in the kitchen that she was away to tesco) waited another 25mins and she still hadnt returned so he kindly offered to make me something else. Woman who had taken my order finally arrived back, didnt even acknowledge me, started moaning about issues she had getting the items. Man offered to make me what i had ordered but wasnt willing to wait any longer so took the toastie instead, he was very apologetic but the woman couldnt have given 2 tosses. Havent been back since, and wont be back. food was average and i had to work extra as had gone over on my lunch break. A few of the locals have said to avoid as well as the woman can apparently be quite nasty if you argue or complain. Theres another cafe just around the corner, where the food is amazing well priced and staff are lovely. use that as my regular now."

"The Fox used to be a great pub for really lovely food cooked and presented very well, sadly this has all changed in recent times. We went for a meal for four of us a few weeks ago in early December, the food took nearly 1.5 hours to come out, and was very poor, we even went for a take out afterwards as we were still hungry. Hoping that it was a one off issue, we booked a table of 12 for the 17th December (a family Christmas meal), most of the starters had to be sent back, just shocking, dry mushrooms on dry bread, the pate was literally a tea spoon of what was supposed to be pate (we couldn’t tell what it was) and a lump of jelly on the top, and the prawns were 4 prawns with a piece of stale bread! many of us refused to even risk trying a second starter replacement, and the manager even agreed it was shocking! The mains were mostly awful as well, the blade of beef was a small bit of chewy meat mostly fat, and missing all the advertised trimmings beyond a lump of mash! There was too much wrong with it all to even list here. None of us will ever be going back, even though they gave us all 50% off next meal vouchers as a sorry for how bad it all was. Just avoid the Fox now if you want a nice meal, it’s fine for just having a drink."

"Wow, where do I even begin? The staff here are incredibly polite, helpful, welcoming, and professional. They were very understanding of my food intolerances and catered to my needs perfectly. They offered a vegan menu for my friend and a gluten-free menu for me, and they accommodated my additional intolerances successfully. The food was outstanding and absolutely delicious. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and we will definitely be returning. I can't wait to bring the kids next time; I know they will love it! A big thank you to Capello Lounge!"

"we called 5 times at the weekend. hannah was a great server, full of advice and suggestions. nothing was too much annoyed. the other two young employees stood up, katie and johnny l believe. perfect staff. they also got the pub, we had a dog, so it was extra nervous for us to go with dog. the dog areas are perfect. this restaurant is on a canal so excellent for walks. large parking space and outside door area. well done to the 3 employees who made our first visit a pleasant and pleasure. thanks, hannah and team. continue. also have the pub and chain."

"Located on Bathurst Street in central London, this small and quiet restaurant is just a short walk from our hotel on Sussex Gardens, making it a convenient choice. Despite their website promising Persian cuisine, the menu has been switched to mainly Italian dishes, which was disappointing for us as we were expecting a different culinary experience. The spaghetti Carbonara I ordered was creamy and generous in portion, but lacked flavor due to a shortage of basic seasoning like salt and pepper. The lasagna ordered by others in my group was deemed as average and nothing special. The Caesar Salad was crispy and well-presented, but like my main dish, it needed more dressing and seasoning. We had booked with a 30% discount on food, but upon leaving the restaurant, we discovered that the discount had not been applied in full to our bill, leaving us short by around 3 pounds."

"We organised a suprise 60th meal here on the 6th January 2024, From start to finish the whole experience was absolutely faultless. Once booking the event, we were asked to come in to grab a menu and notify them with as many of the orders as we could beforehand to ensure all the food would be available on the day and so that all meals would be served at relatively the same time. Once all meals were booked I received a few phone calls from Hannah to triple check everything and that all steaks etc were to be cooked to preference and dietary requirements catered for. When we arrived we had a whole section of the ground floor cordoned off for us with a ramp in place for wheelchair user access, along with service dogs allowed to join the party. The whole evening was absolutely brilliant, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and all meals were served exactly to order and all 33 of us ate at the same time. Give yourselves a great big pat on the back Phantom Winger, you really did tick every box on the night and we could not fault anything. Hannah was absolutely amazing and ensured everything ran to perfection. Please do not hesitate to book this venue, the food was fantastic and the service is even more so. The propeieters should be very proud of this establishment and the staff working very hard to give a great customer experience!! Thank you!"

"We went for Christmas day lunch. Firstly I will say the food was good and the staff friendly helpful. What marks it down for me was a few things. Real lack of atmosphere in the place, it was very quiet and we were in a room on our own. When the cutlery came out for desserts we got a mix of dessert spoons, soup spoons a tablespoon! My main issue is the walk to the toilets, the room you walk through is really empty apart from one table some other stored items. Then nothing beats standing at the urinals looking at a bunch of swear woods scratched into a piece of wood above the toilets. Family friendly those words aren't! Like I said the food was really good staff great. I'm just not sure I would make a special journey to come back again. It also looks like the pub needs some TLC. My actual score is 3.5 overall."

"heywood is happy to have this coffee shop as the people who work here are very friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is of high quality. I had lunch with this opportunity. I would recommend her paninis. if she's ready. have a cake or dessert, I recommend to them to have one because they are not disappointed. they always make their little ones welcome. the only reason why I didn't give it to this opportunity star, were some of the toasties on our table burned. that didn't bother who I was with, but if it were mine, I would have mentioned it. this is hardly something in comparison with the overall experience we had. we look forward to a visit."

"21 October 2021: what a nice warm and welcoming coffee shop. the exterior is extremely attractive and the interior is beautiful. the personal was amazing, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. the menu selection is very seductive and has a good selection of food, cake and the alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks are available well and offers for everyone. we have immersed a few lunch and drinks here and we were not disappointed as eating was freshly prepared, cooked and delicious and my bottle speckled hen was perfect together with the white zinfandel wein too. the prices are very reasonable and good for the great food and drinks. our choice for lunch was a part of their "dirty loaded chips with speck, cheese and spicy mayo, teuflisch tasty. and a blt (bacon, salat and tomato) on sewn brown brot roasted sandwich with fresh salad beautifully dressed also. one of the best blt 's I had in very long time. so fresh and the speck stacked and also from this world...wow! many thanks to all the employees and bosses, they are all stars and we are back in every case, especially for their afternoon correct tea session! they also make with the take-away and have a seating area in the open for sunny days! we recommend this caffe and definitiw a visit worth when in market drayton city center."

"Absolutely a hidden gem ! I have been a regular at The Orchid for coffee/lunch and beautiful flowers and have always been very happy with all my visits. Then decided to book a table for dinner. When we arrived it felt like a completely different place tables set, candles twinkling, music playing and a wonderful relaxing ‘vibe.’ The menu is varied and apart from Tapas and paella there was also steak fish. "Stayed night, attending a wedding close by. Booked direct for best price. Car Park was full but nearby parking easy to find. Check in was smooth, I'm hopeless with names but it was the manager, young guy, really friendly and informative. Shown to room.. carried my suitcase, thank you. Very old building, full of charm and character, up fights to floor. Lovely suite, very oldy world. Beamed ceilings, original windows, antique furniture to fit theme with a beautiful poster bed. Floors a bit uneven but that's the age of the building. Sitting area with seat sofa, T.V and occasional furniture, there was a dressing table but no stool. In the bedroom side, easy chairs, wardrobe bed and lamps. Bathroom was big and modern. sinks with huge mirror over and lovely soaps etc. Modern roll top Bath and huge walk-in shower with rainfall shower head. Had drink in bar before and after wedding, Manager there again, very hospitable. Breakfast was lovely. Cold and continental buffet. Make your own hot drinks and toast. Delicious cooked breakfast with everything we asked for. Again tended to by the manager. He checked us out too, could not have been any friendlier! Thanks, we will return!"

"really beautiful location and the ladies served coffee were beautiful and really helpful. we have booked the place after the high-time meeting place by 60, as we had guests from all over the world who had come at the very moment. meal was nice to say that I had fish and chips, the problem was the restaurant manger who was rude (the one who would be out there, pretended to float him with her tablet and said that there was always one, his breaking he ordered 2 drinks, but canceled 1, that she bought and he felt that he had to hear it) was annoying ok and thought it was buying her. my son had to ask her to rest because it was really embarrassing. I will submit a formal complaint when I find out who, besides her, the orangery, as it is from order, not called for and I feel bad as I choose the place. when they think of the business we bought them on the afternoon of the week, we expect that we will be treated with something more respectful"
