"I went to Scarlett's for the first time today and was really impressed by the size of the vegan menu. I went for the nachos with vegan chili which came as a huge portion and was too much to eat. They also had a selection of vegan cupcakes available and said they were updating their dessert section with more choices soon. The only small downside was the service as we waited 15 minutes after our plates were cleared for someone to come ask us if we wanted something else. No one came, even though there was only one other couple in the café, so we had to go up and ask ourselves. Other than that, the food was great and I would go back."

Lovely wee cafe which we’ve been meaning to try for ages. Huge choice of vegan options meant I’d have given it 5 if I could. Friendly staff who only charged my daughter for a kids meal even though she had a meal off the adult menu

I visit Scarlett's regularly, they have a seperate menu with many vegan options, always served in very large portions, meaning good value for money! The staff are very friendly and the cafe has a nice welcoming atmosphere. The vegan breakfast (including vegan bacon and sausages) is great, and there is usually a selection of vegan cakes, which are delicious!

this place really deserves 5 stars, but I can't click on it! what a tasty bite! cozy caffe with very nice, friendly and helpful owner and personal. I had no good club sandwich, ever! I really like this, although they offer meat dishes, the whole vegan food is cooked separately. the deserts are also amazing. prices are good in budget. I can only say well worth a delicious visit!

Wow what a surprise to see a vegan menu is this little place. Lovely girls serving. Very busy cafe with locals so we were lucky to grab the last table. Might be worth booking if you are making a special effort to come. Food was lovely. Couldn’t see any vegan cakes on the day we came... they also do FreakShakes for omnis which I’m sure could be veganised (Oreo but I was too stuffed to ask them!!

one of the many places I visited in a small town that pleasantly surprises them. I'm not sure if I had given it as a good assessment if it was in a city, but I really enjoyed my visit. nice staff with a separate vegan and veggie menu. Nice staff that knew what vegan was. we both have queensadillas. a schroom and jalapeno the other schroom and speck. both are good and had a beautiful salat garnish and chips. it was ideal for lunch and very good price.

After wanting to try this cafe for a while I wasn't disappointed in the food I ate, my company weren't as keen but they were fussy kids. We ordered a bbq chicken wrap but it was to spicy for the young girl. My club sandwich was yummy though. Only thing I would say is the price of diluting juice was a bit high as for 5 glasses i was charged £7.50. The kids meal was supposed to come with a mini cake but wasn't offered or given it. Other than that everything was great, I would recommend to others and I'd visit again but make sure things were more suited for the kids.

"Horrendous attitude from one of the owners/family helpers called Lee. I would like to highlight that Sonia provided a professional customer service experience in comparison to Lee. Placed the order at arrived at When I called at to find out...what was happening, Sonia offered to phone the driver to find out the situation for me, which was good. Whilst waiting on Sonia phoning me back, I received a call from Lee asking me to tell her what the problem was, I explained her colleague was dealing with it she then went on to explain how busy they are, which is understandable and I understand the challenges businesses have at the moment, owning my own. But there was no apology. In fact Lee (who at this point I did not know was the owner/family helper until Sonia told me) went on to tell me it was my fault I ordered from Just eat as they had their own orders to fill first?? Eh hello? It doesn't matter how I place my order, I chose your business to order my dinner from!. Anyway I explained to her that I didn't like her tone of voice and felt she was being really aggressive with me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my order,I said we have been waiting two hours, so we may as well wait, however she was very forceful and kept saying no I will cancel, I will cancel and then decided to put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe how I had been treated as a customer! Then Sonia kindly phoned back to apologise and I asked whoever that was, should not be in a customer role and I was shocked to be spoken to in that way. She then went on to inform me Lee is the owner/family helper! Shocking. Sonia asked for my details and explained she would let the other owner know what had happened. hours later, I've not heard a peep from the restaurant. So I've made the decision to leave a review after explaining to them, this is what I would do. After waiting over and a half hours and using them for the first time, the food was below average. The pakoras and rice was nice, however the chicken korma was inedible, it was stringy and chewy, the lamb bhuna sauce was nice, the lamb was fatty and chewy. So all that wait for pakora and rice and sauce. We won't be back! Horrendous way to speak and treat customers!"
