"I've visited this restaurant a few times, and each experience has been wonderful. On this occasion, I went for an early midweek dinner around 5 PM, which meant the place was nearly empty and somewhat lacking in atmosphere. I ordered the Beef Chimichanga, and it was really delicious. My dining partner had the fajitas, which were also great. The staff member who served us was attentive and friendly. Like many places these days, the prices have increased, and we did flinch a bit when we saw them on the menu. Overall, it was a good experience, but it felt a bit pricey for a midweek dinner, especially since we both only ordered soft drinks."

"The table we were given was dirty with a grain of rice and bits visible. The salad with my burrito was limp and off colour. It didn’t look appetising. It was difficult to get the waitresses attention and she forgot my sauce. When I asked her for it again she just smiled and walked off. Maybe an apology would have been a minimum expectation?"

"I love the vegan pizza option at zizzi, but the choice is quite limited. I would rather visit their restaurant more often if they had only two or three more options to choose from. these options are good. they always have beautiful olives, especially the spicy, and the vegan cheese on the pizza is really good. the staff is always super friendly, and I love the venue itself, its always a great mood and the open kitchen area is a beautiful function."

"It was 2 degrees outside, and about 10 degrees inside. I asked why it was so cold and was told the heating was broken. This should have been explained when we entered. Most people inside we wearing coats. the service was also very slow. That didn 't bother me too much until the end when we were still sitting there with plates around us and no offer of a desert menu. I asked for the bill and at the same time explained my thoughts on our evening there and that I felt the poor service and faulty heating should be reflected in our bill. 10 mins later I was told that they won 't be reducing our bill. I said ok, please give me your managers name and I will take it up with your head office. He then came back with the bill with a deduction of £5 for which he said I will get this in the neck later for giving me a deduction. £5 off of a bill for £90 is bare minimum and then the unnecessary guilt trip. This restaurant has a major problem, evidenced by the recent reviews on here. The food has definitely gone down hill and the service is frustratingly bad because it 's such basic things they are getting wrong."

"The food was served generously and piping hot, and it arrived in a timely manner. Our waitress, Kai, was outstanding—she was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. She even managed to persuade my wife to try a side of spicy baby potatoes, which was quite amusing since she typically avoids anything spicy. I had a good laugh at that! Overall, the staff was quick and attentive, providing the kind of service every restaurant should aspire to. Other chains could certainly benefit from sending their staff to the same training as these folks. Thank you all for a lovely evening!"

"Waited to be seated while 2 waitresses chatted while a queue was forming behind us Sat down at a table where there had obviously been a child as there were fries on the floor that were not cleaned up The waitress took our order and came back 5 minutes later as she couldn’t remember 2 of our drinks Waited 10 minutes for the drinks and 20 minutes for food The pasta had very little flavour but the garlic bread was nice,no bruschetta so maybe tell people that when you sit them down as 3 of our party then had no starters The drinks are the Maoist expensive on the coliseum and they are the only cashless restaurant there and encourage you to use the QR code in the table to pay to save them time,they don’t worry about getting a tip as again the only restaurant on the coliseum to add a service charge Definitely not worth the charge as service cleanliness and food nothing special"

"We made a reservation for 7:45pm, but called ahead to let them know we would be arriving at 8pm. They assured us it would not be an issue. However, when we arrived promptly at 8pm, our table had been given away. We did not have time to wait for another table, as we had already warned them we would be arriving late. Sadly, we left without having dinner. It was truly disappointing."

"I can get here on a busy Saturday, but I had a reservation and I was very disappointed. first, the service was terrible, we had a table over a table and we had to wait for half an hour until our table is ready. when we finally sat, the terrible service continued. Once we set ourselves and got our menus, they asked us our order, some of us even had our hunting. I felt quite awkward. we ordered our food quickly and waited for 45 minutes until the dishes arrived. many of the courts were missing. one of the members of our party ordered a pornstar martini who came half empty and the shot of prosecco almost did not exist. we then complained to the manager who said: "No worries about it we will get them a new one and they can keep them as an excuse." but the new pornstar martini did not appear until we had almost finished our main thing. the nets were warm and they forgot so many parts of our dishes, for example forget the packs for the fajitas, the dives with our starters and much more. When the evening came to an end, I was glad to go. we asked about our bill and when I checked it, I found out that we were accused twice for the pornstar martini and all the other extras we never got. we asked to remove what the waitresses seemed hesitant, so had to wait to talk to the manager. the manager was attentive and removed this charger, but it was not a good experience. I will not come back soon."

"I had never been to a Nando 's before so this is my first visit review. I was surprised how busy it was, so I guessed that it must be popular, I had to wait 15 minutes for a table to become available, that wasn 't too bad as we grabbed a drink and sat outside. It is a sizable restaurant and there are quite a lot of staff, we were called when our table for 5 adults became available. Then this is when it lost 1 star, no explanation as how to order, luckily we had one of my nieces with us and she had been to a different Nando 's many times before. So, everything is done on your mobile phone, scan a barcode on the table and create an account to be able to proceed, if my niece hadn 't been with us we wouldn 't have had a clue as to how you place and pay for your order, maybe I am just getting old and I am out of touch with the new protocol 's. After having a guided tour of what was entailed we placed our orders and the food and drinks started to arrive, this was staggered and we all started eating at different times, the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I don 't like the fact that you have to create an account and provide your email address just to order food, this I fear will lead to a barrage of emails from partner companies etc. What happened to the good old waitress/waiter service? they brought the food and drinks to the table, so why can 't they just come to the table and take the order? Some of you may read this and say this guy is out of touch maybe I am and I will take that comment on the chin, however, what about the older generation that still don 't have mobile phones? As I said, the food was delicious but I don 't care much for the faffing about the technical way of ordering food."

"We initially tried going to Wetherspoons, but it was too busy and crowded, so we ended up at Chitquito's instead. Since we were the only customers, we all received our drinks quickly and enjoyed friendly service. The decor at Chitquito's is themed around the theatre, and we had a satisfying meal with delicious Mexican food."

"We arrived at 2:30 PM and placed our order within ten minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. By 3 PM, I inquired about the long wait for our food, but the waitress couldn't explain the delay. I had already prepaid to ensure we wouldn't be late for a movie starting at 3:20. By that time, my two children and I were becoming frustrated. Once again, the waitress was unsure why our food was taking so long. At 3:25, I requested a refund, opting to grab a snack at the cinema instead. The manager approached us and promised that our food was on its way. Just a minute later, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the tacos were soggy, and the chicken in my salad was dry. We ended up feeling rushed to eat. I would advise avoiding this restaurant unless you're okay with waiting nearly an hour for subpar food."

"I recently celebrated my grandmother's birthday here with my family. The service was a bit slow, but we did visit on a Saturday. The food was fresh and served hot! I really enjoyed my appetizers, the jalapeño poppers, although the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste—I have diabetes, so I have to be mindful of my sugar levels. I ordered the Texan stack burger meal, which was good, but I expected the burger to be a bit larger. I also loved the skin-on chips. Overall, my family and I had a great time!"

"We stopped by for a meal before heading to the cinema and had made a reservation through an agency, but unfortunately, Chiquitos hadn't received the notification (a downside for Open Table). However, the hostess at Chiquitos was absolutely delightful and quickly arranged a table for us without any hassle. She made us feel very welcome, and the rest of the staff were also friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, and we experienced no delays, making it easy to enjoy our meal before the movie. I would definitely recommend it for a pre- or post-cinema outing. It had a lively atmosphere that seemed perfect for dining with friends. We'll definitely be back!"

"Upon arrival, we found ourselves waiting at the desk without acknowledgment of our open table booking, making the reservation pointless. The staff seemed disinterested in our confirmation and instead directed us to sit and wait in the bar before rushing outside. This strange first impression continued as the restaurant appeared half full yet we were left waiting at the bar. The barman neglected to take our drink orders, which would have improved our experience. After 10 minutes, one staff member informed us that a table was being cleared for us at the front, only for another staff member to seat us at a different table in the back. This made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Despite representing over £100 in revenue as a group of four, we felt like a low priority. However, once seated, the typical service experience at a Chiquito chain restaurant was good, with drinks, orders, and food served promptly. We had no complaints about the food and were pleased to be able to use a student discount, saving 25%. In the future, I believe more attention should be paid to first impressions, as my companion was initially tempted to leave but I convinced them to stay."
