"one of my best friends and I chose to read iguanas for our first real pick-up post locking. the place was dizzy! we chose tapas that was beautiful (and there was so much our waitress, anna, was the best. She was attentive, friendly and easy to take from us. 10/10, highly recommended for a cheap, fun and interesting meal."

"This restaurant is a fantastic spot for cocktails, food, and service! They have great offers for cocktail lovers. It can get crowded in the evenings with many people coming in for drinks, but dining in is not a problem if you make a reservation. I was surprised to see a recent 1-star review complaining about management not accepting a photo of someone's ID on their phone. You wouldn't be able to enter a club with it, so why expect to use it for drinking? It's refreshing to see a responsible and well-managed food and drink establishment in Basingstoke!"

"I recently went to this restaurant for my hen do with more than 20 coworkers. We had pre-ordered our meals three days in advance, but had to cancel three people last minute due to illness or childcare issues. This left us with a total of 21 guests on the day of the event. We were informed that if any more guests cancelled, we would have to pay for their meals as extra staff had been called in to serve us. Our reservation was for 7 o'clock, but we arrived at 6:45 and had to wait until 8:50 for our food to be served. Despite asking twice about our meals, we were told they were "on the way." We had expected that pre-ordering our food would have saved us time, but we ended up waiting almost two hours. We only had one waitress who also had to serve other tables in between attending to our group. We did receive a discount on our bill, but we had anticipated leaving the restaurant by 9:30 at the latest. Unfortunately, the last of the food was being given out at that time, causing us to miss our post-dinner plans. Overall, my hen do experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I understand that catering for a large party can be challenging, but we had pre-ordered our food in advance specifically to avoid such delays."

"This was a business meeting and as it had a wide and varied menu including vegetarian options I selected this venue, only to find when one of my guests tried to order the Bird option it wasn't available, so he ordered the Ribs option, which was not available and then ordered the Brazilian BBQ and that wasn't available either, so it was very disappointing."
