"I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. I usually choose the burrito, but decided to try something different this time and everything tasted delicious. "Review written by wife. The overall experience was good, the starters were great however there were a few things that let it down. 1) It took a while for our food to come out. 2) The drinks we ordered came out in dribs and drabs. At one point a drink for our table was given to another table. Also, we then got the same drink twice. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the waiters. 3) The food was nice, however, my husband ordered his steak and lamb to be medium well but when it came it was practically raw. He wasn’t even able to cut into it. The waitress was nice enough to take it back and have it cooked a bit more. 4) My parents food was way too salty we’re a family who like salt so for us to say it was too salty is really something. The waitress was nice enough to take it back and when it came out it was much better. 5) I had the prawn curry which was nice, it said it was a coconut lime curry however all you could taste was lime which I didn’t mind so much but after a while it was a bit sharp. 6) We called the waitress over again as my sister had ordered taco’s but she didn’t want them anymore, however when we called over the waitress she made it very clear that she was fed up/tired of having to come over to our table. She sighed before speaking and her body language clearly showed she didn’t want to be there. 7) The cocktails seemed as though they had been watered down. I got the bramble and when it came it just tasted of soda water which wasn’t great and so did my sisters cocktail. With adjustments to attitudes and service, it could be a really great place."

"Many children frequent this restaurant, including my own. I recently discovered from my son that he has had trouble receiving the correct change from a specific employee. It seems that many of the children either didn't notice or didn't bother to check their change before, but now they realize that he rounds up the prices. When my son confronted him, he dismissed it by saying they didn't need the extra change or questioning if it really mattered. This behavior is unacceptable, and if he is consistently shortchanging the children, it can add up. In addition to what I consider to be subpar food, they are taking advantage of vulnerable kids. Even small amounts like 1p to 51p may not seem significant, but it is still theft."

"After I had previously ordered some paintings in the course of the years, I had always had an ok opinion of sausages eating. Previously some problems in pastness were that it was oily, mince not big and afteros soggy etc. Now they have moved there, seems to be a new life. I ordered the sharer for 2 and everything was extraordinary. the concarn tasted super (especially the quality and taste of bark mint,) the chicken fresh, the cheese was like cheese (not the fake wine,) the nachos were actually mais and crispy and a total of 10/10 for the taste. I have also ordered for 7 and it is raised by 7! would recommend, but order them from the website not only eat! there are photos, but I ate everything"

"I will be making a formal complaint later today to head office. The manager was completely obtrusive towards me. I took my family on an 18th birthday meal and she wouldn’t serve ME cocktails as we didn’t bring ID. This caused upset and my husband had to get a taxi back to retrieve their passports. Utterly unprofessional and embarrassing. We luckily had a wonderful time at an Indian restaurant where it was civil and pleasant. Disgusting manager needs to be sacked."

"We went here as part of a hen party. The food was so good and the cocktails were great too. There were a couple of mix ups with the food that was ordered (not at all their fault! Last minute drop out from the party) and it was sorted so quickly. The staff were all so lovely and made sure we had an amazing time. Will definitely be back in the future."

"Out of this world food and super service. Recommended by a local after our lunch plans fell through and wow what a win! Super bartender let us check out the menu and seated us promptly. Restaurant and bar is colourful and full of life and atmosphere. Menu is very varied offering plenty options for most diets. Ordered the crispy smoked chicken wings Buffalo hot to start. Great sized wings, perfectly cooked, delicious heat just Mmmm! Followed by the Slow Cooked Smoked BBQ Ribs and The Alf Stewart Burger. BEST DAMNED BURGER EITHER OF US HAD EVER HAD! It's a mountain but when you've got meat of that quality and epic chefs in the back why would you not go big or go home. Each layer of the burger was smoked or cooked to perfection and the flavour was explosive screaming at you to take the next bite! Chatty friendly waitress that was attentive and made us feel super welcome. We'll be recommending like crazy. Keep up the awesome work Kilted Kangaroo!"

"Walked in on a Saturday night. Place was quite busy but we were let in (had to check in for track&trace) to the bar. Fortunately, we found a table and had our drinks there with nice music played by a DJ. Tables were placed relatively apart from each other which gave space to groups to enjoy themselves without constantly bumping into someone. There were different seating arrangements to accommodate smaller and larger groups as well. Bar staff was really friendly and professional. ONLY CARD PAYMENTS, contactless preferred. Tables were cleaned between customers, restroom was well-maintained."

"I came here for dinner one Friday night and the place was very busy recommend reserving a seat online or via phone . They serve meat but they have a separate menu for vegetarian and vegan options. Most of the items are vegetarian but can be made vegan. They also have a separate gluten and nut free menu it's all very clearly marked and the staff knew what was going on when I asked questions. Overall, all the staff I dealt with were friendly, professional and efficient being super busy wasn't a problem for the restaurant. I had guacamole and tortilla chips to start and mushroom fajita for main. I also had 2 cocktails as they have a 2 for 1 thing. The guacamole was good and comes with lime, coriander and tomato that you can add as much or as little as you want. The mushroom fajitas were delicious so much flavour in the mushies and excellent accompaniments. Definitely a great place to go with a group of omnis but there are enough options for a fully vegan or vegetarian party."
