"when I heard that this place has vegan options, I did not expect too much my experience with Latin American restaurants in my own country is not so great when it comes to vegan food. but I was wrong. not only that they have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu that eat is simply great and I regret only that I could not try all their vegan options. my favorites were the vegan version of their three mushroom fajita and the tembleque kokospudding. yes, and the personal was very friendly and helpful. las iguanas became my favorite restaurant during my stay in milton keynes."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, but it seems like the menu has shrunk since my last visit. The staff, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. However, it can be quite expensive, especially the drinks. Overall, it's a nice place to dine but be prepared to spend between £30-40 per person for dinner."

"Just visited on the off chance there would be a free table on a Thursday evening we were lucky. We arrived around 18.30 whilst it was busy it wasn't too busy there was no wait. We ordered drinks completely unaware they were two for one! Which was a nice surprise when a whole tray turned up! Dinner was two chilli's one meat, one veggie a steak meal. All were lovely and cooked to perfection. Just the right amount spice the chilli was great. Rice was cooked perfectly as were the blue corn tortillas. Would recommend for a relaxed meal with great service good food"

"The staff is very friendly at this restaurant and they are attentive to customers' needs. The food was well-prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. We were impressed by how quickly our food arrived when we mentioned we were very hungry. However, the dessert we ordered, the Mexican mezcal, was described to have celestial nectar and earthberry yogurt, but these elements were missing from the dessert we received. It also should have been served in a cinnamon tortilla basket, but there was no cinnamon present. The waitress apologized for this and removed the dessert from our bill. It was strange that the kitchen left so much out of one dish, perhaps due to a new cook. However, the waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic for the price."

"This place was fantastic. The staff were friendly and the food. They have recently added some Brazilian dishes to the menu, so opted for the Brazilian platter. HIGHLY recommended. The deep fried cauli was to die for Fancy some South American inspired foods ? Get on in here ! You wont be disappointed"

"There are plenty of vegetarians and vegan options, the staff is very kind and the food tastes amazing! I went there twice in three days, I tried avocado and quinoa salad (not a big portion but full of nutrients) and a dish with portobello mushrooms, I don't remember the name, anyway.. it was delicious! "Hi guys, this place isn't too bad, there must be something good, as it was busy when visiting, and my friend did all the ordering, I still do not know what the name of the dish that I had but I'll share a picture of it, but anyway, had the so-called Mexican samosas, nice and crunchy served with a medium sauce, the mains were a piece of chicken breast fried drowning in a gravy kinda sauce, the chicken was tender, not tried the rest of the menu, my dish was OK but not WOW or something entirely different."

"Our experience at this Chiquitos location was terrible, despite having visited many others before. We booked a table as part of a birthday trip to Wembley, expecting a great meal as usual. However, we were left waiting nearly 10 minutes for drinks and a further 10 before our food order was taken. The cocktails were nice, but the food was disappointing. My husband's burger was burnt, and when we pointed it out, the waitress agreed and exchanged it for a plain beef burger with limited salad. My chicken dish was dry and burnt on the edges, and the fries were a mix of undercooked and dry. Despite alerting the staff, we only received a partial refund for my husband's order and no compensation for mine. We also witnessed concerning behavior from two male managers, with one physically grabbing a waitress and ordering her to do something. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming, with staff appearing uncomfortable and unenthusiastic. Service was slow, and even after finishing our meal, we waited 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared despite there being few other diners. To top it off, our bill was incorrect. Overall, a very disappointing experience and we would not recommend this particular Chiquitos branch."

"Really good food, and two for one cocktails the day we went! No, that hasn't influenced my review!! Ha ha). It does a combo of Mexican and Brazilian food. We all had either the fajitas or enchiladas, and they were really, really good. The service was a bit slow, like, yes, we're ready to order, but just kept going past. The overall experience was good, the starters were great however there were a few things that let it down. 1) It took a while for our food to come out. 2) The drinks we ordered came out in dribs and drabs. At one point a drink for our table was given to another table. Also, we then got the same drink twice. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the waiters. 3) The food was nice, however, my husband ordered his steak and lamb to be medium well but when it came it was practically raw. He wasn’t even able to cut into it. The waitress was nice enough to take it back and have it cooked a bit more. 4) My parents food was way too salty we’re a family who like salt so for us to say it was too salty is really something. The waitress was nice enough to take it back and when it came out it was much better. 5) I had the prawn curry which was nice, it said it was a coconut lime curry however all you could taste was lime which I didn’t mind so much but after a while it was a bit sharp. 6) We called the waitress over again as my sister had ordered taco’s but she didn’t want them anymore, however when we called over the waitress she made it very clear that she was fed up/tired of having to come over to our table. She sighed before speaking and her body language clearly showed she didn’t want to be there. 7) The cocktails seemed as though they had been watered down. I got the bramble and when it came it just tasted of soda water which wasn’t great and so did my sisters cocktail. With adjustments to attitudes and service, it could be a really great place."

"Many children frequent this restaurant, including my own. I recently discovered from my son that he has had trouble receiving the correct change from a specific employee. It seems that many of the children either didn't notice or didn't bother to check their change before, but now they realize that he rounds up the prices. When my son confronted him, he dismissed it by saying they didn't need the extra change or questioning if it really mattered. This behavior is unacceptable, and if he is consistently shortchanging the children, it can add up. In addition to what I consider to be subpar food, they are taking advantage of vulnerable kids. Even small amounts like 1p to 51p may not seem significant, but it is still theft."
