"I had an exhausting dinner that lasted three hours. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, it wasn't what we ordered. I had to go to the kitchen myself to speak with the chefs in order to get our order corrected. Additionally, I had to return to the parking meter to add more money, as I had suspected that two hours wouldn’t be enough for dinner."

"I am a regular, but will not return. I thought I would try her brunch menu there were 6 of us. service was shocking, not attentive, spent the majority of her time in the bar in the deep talk. ordered pancakes (2 of them) and they were like naanbrot. when we complained, they said they were doing them thick .. that we pointed out that it was difficult to cut them with a knife and fork. they took off the pancakes at the end. my friends ordered a sausage as extra, but they came to see not in the least appetit. there are much better places to brunch."

"My husband and I visit here fairly regularly with our 2 year old daughter and we always really enjoy it. On our latest visit we did have quite a wait for our mains as we were informed there was a new chef taking over in the kitchen. We didn't mind too.much as we were happy chatting and could see it was quite busy and our server (who I think may have been a manager) was apologetic and waived the cost of our daughters meal as a good will gesture which was very kind. When the food arrived it was perfect so no complaints there! We have been many times already and will be back again."

"It was our first family visit at the restaurant chain and we loved it. The atmosphere at this branch is lovely, with a very calm and well designed look. The team were all lovely and service was great! We just wanted to highlight Davari and Ash who were with us throughout our experience at the restaurant and helped us within the time we were there, assisting with little requests and all with a great smile. "When we arrived at the restaurant, I dropped off my friends and went to park my car. Upon my return, I learned that they had been informed that we couldn't be accommodated because the restaurant was shutting down permanently at the end of the night, and there were limited food options available. I was quite frustrated! We decided to leave and went to another nearby restaurant instead. The next day, since I couldn't use my vouchers, I applied for a refund. I only received back 50% of their value, and I have since appealed this decision, as I was unable to use them at the time I had booked due to circumstances beyond my control. While I know there are other Chiquito locations, none are close to us. I have dined at Chiquito in Croydon numerous times and have taken friends and family there, but I was very disappointed by how the closure was handled. Had I been given notice about their impending closure, I would have certainly made arrangements to visit one of their other locations."

"visited this beautiful restaurant after buying a groupon deal. the employees were pleasant and attentive and advise us on some of the menu items. we have decided to have starter and net. the nachos with huh and chorizo was perfect and southern peaceful chicken strip with BBQ sauce was just as delicious. a classic barkburger with fries and red cabbage coleslaw was next door and tasted great and the chicken chanting fajitas salat was also beautiful. Unfortunately, the desert was not an option, as we were too full and had no place in which she was fit, the menu sounded appetit and we will have to visit again to try it out."

"When we arrived, we couldn't find our booking. Luckily the restaurant was not busy and our party of 7 we were almost immediately sitting thanks to the manager. while pleasant our waitress was noticeable due to their absentness during the meal. additional drinks and additional foods were requested by other employees as they were over. Eat excellent, although we find that the portions shrink with each one we make. instead of expensive if they have a discount voucher or code (which we have). the entire ambiente is quite bad at this visit. Unfortunately, the latest news seems that this is still a different restaurant chain in difficult financial terms, which affects personal moral badly. this is a scandal, as we love eating and if the service it would tip not the staple prices."

"Absolutely appalling. Took 40 mins to get two coffees. There were people queuing up to complain that items were missing from their orders. The people serving just had no idea. It got so bad they had to look through every order to check what was inside and still forgot to give people things like drinks. Some people ordered ages after us and got their order before us. Non spicy for me as i have sensitive pallet and like bland stuff but family love all the hot stuff. Food was tasty and moist. Bottomless drinks and bottomless ice cream are a must... yummy. X Toilets clean and well kept and checked regularly . Loads of parking on a timed basis so dont spend hours gabbing or a meal here then cinema or you may get caught out . X"

We were impressed by how quickly our food arrived when we mentioned we were very hungry. However, the dessert we ordered, the Mexican mezcal, was described to have celestial nectar and earthberry yogurt, but these elements were missing from the dessert we received. It also should have been served in a cinnamon tortilla basket, but there was no cinnamon present. The waitress apologized for this and removed the dessert from our bill. It was strange that the kitchen left so much out of one dish, perhaps due to a new cook. However, the waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic for the price."

"Our experience at this Chiquitos location was terrible, despite having visited many others before. We booked a table as part of a birthday trip to Wembley, expecting a great meal as usual. However, we were left waiting nearly 10 minutes for drinks and a further 10 before our food order was taken. The cocktails were nice, but the food was disappointing. My husband's burger was burnt, and when we pointed it out, the waitress agreed and exchanged it for a plain beef burger with limited salad. My chicken dish was dry and burnt on the edges, and the fries were a mix of undercooked and dry. Despite alerting the staff, we only received a partial refund for my husband's order and no compensation for mine. We also witnessed concerning behavior from two male managers, with one physically grabbing a waitress and ordering her to do something. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming, with staff appearing uncomfortable and unenthusiastic. Service was slow, and even after finishing our meal, we waited 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared despite there being few other diners. To top it off, our bill was incorrect. Overall, a very disappointing experience and we would not recommend this particular Chiquitos branch."

"It was as if the owner googled Mexican stereotypes and decided to place it as a tex mex place. Sombreros everywhere, the mascots on the kids meals dressed in stereotypes. It’s pretty offensive. The kids meal says ‘learn Mexican’ as if Mexican is a language? That’s news to me. Also tex mex food shouldn’t be this dry. The soft shell taco was hard. A SOFT SHELL FLOUR TACO the Mexican rice was rice but not Tex Mex at all. Service was slow like super slow and I can’t begin to understand why. Also jambalaya isn’t Tex Mex. I can excuse bad food but not the blatant disregard for culture."

"My family and I visited this restaurant for lunch on Saturday. We had made a reservation 5 minutes before using my Taste card, but it turned out we probably didn't need to. Our server, Kayleigh, seated us at a good table and provided attentive service throughout our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, but I found the food to be a bit pricey without the discount from my Taste card. Luckily, the card came in handy! I enjoyed my fajita, while my brother and his partner found the burgers to be mediocre. My mom liked her jambalaya, and my 8-year-old nephew was happy with his kids' menu, especially the ice cream for dessert. Overall, a nice family outing with great service from Kayleigh. I would recommend giving this place a try with a discount. The music was good, and the vibe was relaxed. Thank you, Kayleigh, for taking care of us!"

"Had a trip here today and this is a specific post about the security and customer experience team following the loss of my phone. Long story short but the team, from the nice Irish cleaner/sweeper who I first panicked to, to Charlie in the security team, Paul the customer experience manager, and chatty Richie, the friendly PCSO, they were brilliant. The shops were notified, one person checked Facebook (thank you to the manager in I crack) and it was tracked down, located, collected returned to me!! Honestly team sweeping into action! It is only a phone but its scary to think how much many of us would lose if we did lose them! Thank you all involved and the lady who initially found posted my phone as lost faith in humanity restored!"
