"We sat in one of the pods, which were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, we had to wait an hour and a half for our starters and nearly an hour for our mains, which was quite excessive, especially given the high prices. Despite this, we will definitely be returning and have recommended it to everyone we've talked to, as the food was truly that good."

"We just popped over the road from the office, totally on spec for a hot lunch. Received a very warm welcome and were sat very quickly and offered a drink while we browsed the menu. I had alcohol free beer that actually tasted like proper continental larger, pleasant surprise one. Ordered the goulash with dumplings, pleasant surprise two. The beef fell apart, the dumplings were light and the goulash sauce was delicious and the portions generous. Good value for money. The only downside is that there's no place to have a quiet after lunch snooze. Really recommend this place and in winter weather the food hits the spot. Don't be put off by the exterior of the building, venture in and you'll be well looked after and pleased with the food."

"jaqks excellent service. the type that served us was super friendly as always. I'm thinking about the bestfried chicken in birmingham. no exaggeration. in any case worth the trip. adequate prices eating is always fresh and do not have to wait too long. the buffalo wings are good, the sosse on them is so more prone. a burger is fantastic doubleburger is the same, but bigger and even yummier. the chicken fingers are beautiful and crispy. had nothing on the menu, which was not good. fries were fresh and crispy"

"The staff were very attentive, but you just need to allow more time for people to order their food and finish their food. On a few occasions, we felt as though we were being rushed to finish our food and leave. The food was good overall. However, the cheese on chips, needs to be improved and have more cheese that is melted properly. The drinks were on point, but the waffle needs to have more chocolate and/or white sauce on it. It felt like I was just having the waffle without any sauce. A couple of things were finished on the menu and we were notified after the order had been placed. This is understandable as at peak times, you may run out of certain options. It’ll be good to have this known at the time of placing the order. However, the staff were very attentive and had good customer service skills. The ambience of the place was excellent and it’s very different to your regular burger joints."

"My friends and I dined at this restaurant last night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the food and service. The burgers and fries we ordered were all cold and extremely salty, making them inedible. The cheese and onion fries we ordered were soggy, salty, cold, and covered in bottled squeezy cheese, making it difficult to enjoy. The prices were also exorbitant, with £7.50 for the fries and £12.75 for a glass of wine. The servers simply dropped off our food without plates, and we had to ask for them. They never came back to check on us, only appearing again when it was time to present the bill with a £21 tip added. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this restaurant. "I had a delicious fish burger at this restaurant. The service from the staff was excellent, particularly considering we were a large group of students. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was between £20-£30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. "This lively and cheerful bistro is situated right on the Derry city wall. The menu clearly highlights gluten-free (GF) options, and the servers are knowledgeable and eager to help. While they don’t offer GF bread, the fries are gluten-free. "Relaxed grazing family meal Booked for 530pm. No rush to order. Welcomed by owner who was keen to help and guide. 2 friendly dogs residents which our youngest loved. Felt like being welcomed to a friendly home host. Explained he had a host staff member down which was fine because we were in no rush. In fact it felt relaxed and allowed us to settle in and relax after a busy afternoon. Lots of interesting selections of grazing and main meal options. Well, we could not have anticipated the quality of the cooking. We asked for things to be sent out as they were ready (good option and we grazed away for our stay. Good quality food and wine and seriously reasonable prices. Our 20something to teenage boys left satisfied and full, as did we. Unassuming and delightful visit in this hidden gem. Go without a timescales and enjoy an unhurried but genuinely satisfying and tasty selection of home cooked delights from this skilled and talented chef who caters for tastes young and old. Pure joy for a group who are not always easy to please. Recommend the garlic prawns (simply phenomenal , garlic mushrooms (like I’ve never tasted! , Mac and cheese (pleased a 13 Yr old, hard to please USA foody addict and sirloin steak which was tasty beyond measure. Bottle of Sauvignon was cheap by restaurant standards but good quality too. Recommended by a tricky group who are hard to please in their entirety, usually but all left wanting a return visit. Wish we lived closer as we would be regulars!"

"We phoned on a wet Sunday and were lucky enough to get a table for the Sunday Carvery. I was slightly concerned at being asked to pay for the meal before I had even sat at the table, and I also found it odd that we were unable to add drinks to our bill (you have to go to the bar and pay for those separately). We decided to stick with it and I'm very glad we did because the meal itself was superb! A choice of three different meats, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and probably ten different varieties of vegetable gave plenty of choice. My wife had beef and turkey, while I had just beef and without a doubt it was one of the best roast lunches either of us have ever had. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic (the Cauliflower Cheese especially was superb). THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED and I would go out of my way to eat here again."

"The Caesar salad with halloumi was delicious. The water was infused with some sort of fresh herbs which was a surprise, as it was tap water, and was free, but it was very refreshing. The service was top notch. The staff was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere were calming and relaxing, I almost felt like I was doing mindful eating. I cannot find one fault with this restaurant. I will be coming back to try different things on the menu. I would for sure recommend this restaurant."

"Lovely pub, in an old building, lots of history on the walls! My friends, partner and I were on a road trip home. We were getting hungrier by the mile and then we all saw this place and shouted “PUB LUNCH” in the car. We were greeted by two very lovely ladies, and they did their best throughout our short visit. The pub was quiet, even with some people playing pool and others having a laugh with friends over a drink. All five of us ordered food and it came very quickly. My partner and myself, had burgers which were delicious and very filling!! A friend of ours had steak and LOVED it. Another had the gammon, which I tasted and we both found fantastic! Our other friend had a steak and ale pie and she demolished the LOT! If we were more local, we’d be back, and often. But, until our next road trip that way! Thanks Queensway! "Finding this place after a long day of cycling was a real jackpot! We weren't aware they had a separate vegan menu, so I simply asked to omit some ingredients on our pizza for sweetness. A very friendly staff member informed me that as a vegan, I could have it made exactly as I requested, plus add vegan cheese or even choose from their vegan menu! They prepared it just as I asked, and I wasn't charged anything extra. In fact, I ended up getting a discount and a key ring as well. We decided to take the pizzas to the beach because we didn't feel comfortable sitting inside after our day out. The place had a cozy vibe, and I really hope to return someday."

"I wanted to look at this place, and today we finally left. it wasn't disappointed. everything they served us was delicious. I don't even like mince sauce, but it was my favorite under the sauce in our starter. we ordered two foods, one from the street and one from the main menu and shared it. because of the part, they will not be too full and they will get to try more variety in food. "a table for a family dinner. restaurant was busy so the service was somewhat slower than usual, but our server alex was friendly, attentive and helpful. many unavailable foods, maybe they should reassess their order? eating was delicious and in portions. Right. only the complaining was the icy sun of the child had only a tiny creature ice in chocolate sauce drowned with fill of beats on the plate. the ice has not even filled the half of the conical bowl. Despite the fullness of chocolate can my son was disappointed by his lack of ice in an ice sunshade! Not sure if that was because they ran out of ice or just stingy!"
