"We sat in one of the pods, which were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, we had to wait an hour and a half for our starters and nearly an hour for our mains, which was quite excessive, especially given the high prices. Despite this, we will definitely be returning and have recommended it to everyone we've talked to, as the food was truly that good."

"First time ordering this tonight as a treat for getting a new job... and wow! My tastebuds have been expanded and I loved every bite. I ordered the langos burger and it was a mighty beautiful beast, only managed half of it, but it was amazing. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant when everything opens up. I would say that the food did arrive later than the expected time on the website, however it was worth the wait. I did try to ring the restaurant three times and they didn’t answer once... so perhaps that is something to work on? But great food and the delivery driver was a nice guy too."

"jaqks excellent service. the type that served us was super friendly as always. I'm thinking about the bestfried chicken in birmingham. no exaggeration. in any case worth the trip. adequate prices eating is always fresh and do not have to wait too long. the buffalo wings are good, the sosse on them is so more prone. a burger is fantastic doubleburger is the same, but bigger and even yummier. the chicken fingers are beautiful and crispy. had nothing on the menu, which was not good. fries were fresh and crispy"

"we went to my birthday lunch, my sisters, and I went all to order their amazing plate of tweeper rings, bbq wing, grilled mushrooms with cheese, garlic brot. ok it's a lot! then the steaks with beautiful kartoffels with garlic layers with cheese upstairs I had thought this mac and cheese) and a mushroom sauce! the drinks were ok would not say amazing except the skyberry soda was nice would not go for the earthy or mango. in serious had no room for dessert, that was disappointing as it all saw amazing! then the service was good/very clean and spacious. was my first time that it would be happy to go back with my girls."

"My friends and I dined at this restaurant last night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the food and service. The burgers and fries we ordered were all cold and extremely salty, making them inedible. The cheese and onion fries we ordered were soggy, salty, cold, and covered in bottled squeezy cheese, making it difficult to enjoy. The prices were also exorbitant, with £7.50 for the fries and £12.75 for a glass of wine. The servers simply dropped off our food without plates, and we had to ask for them. They never came back to check on us, only appearing again when it was time to present the bill with a £21 tip added. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this restaurant. "I had a delicious fish burger at this restaurant. The service from the staff was excellent, particularly considering we were a large group of students. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was between £20-£30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. "This lively and cheerful bistro is situated right on the Derry city wall. The menu clearly highlights gluten-free (GF) options, and the servers are knowledgeable and eager to help. While they don’t offer GF bread, the fries are gluten-free. Although there aren’t any GF beers or ciders available, their cocktail menu is extensive—highly recommend the Mulberry Tom Collins on a warm evening! "We’ve been to Queensway a number of times and although it seems an untidy pub and a little tired, the food has always been good. Unfortunately, tonight the food was not very good. We were a family party of 9. We were told we could order a Christmas dinner on arrival but it was not available. We were told there was no gammon so not a full mixed grill which was my husbands choice and the gammon meal off for the same reason. There was no coleslaw, no lettuce and no cucumber. This seems totally disorganised given the time of year and a full pub. The meals were not great! My 12oz steak was dry (my husband cooks much better steak at home) and very tough and a small portion of chips accompanied it even though the menu said a larger portion. My sister in law s steak looked very dry too. I’m afraid our next family get together won’t be at this pub. I booked the meal and feel responsible for the family’s disappointment!"

"Relaxed grazing family meal Booked for 530pm. No rush to order. Welcomed by owner who was keen to help and guide. 2 friendly dogs residents which our youngest loved. Felt like being welcomed to a friendly home host. Explained he had a host staff member down which was fine because we were in no rush. In fact it felt relaxed and allowed us to settle in and relax after a busy afternoon. Lots of interesting selections of grazing and main meal options. Well, we could not have anticipated the quality of the cooking. We asked for things to be sent out as they were ready (good option and we grazed away for our stay. Good quality food and wine and seriously reasonable prices. Our 20something to teenage boys left satisfied and full, as did we. Unassuming and delightful visit in this hidden gem. Go without a timescales and enjoy an unhurried but genuinely satisfying and tasty selection of home cooked delights from this skilled and talented chef who caters for tastes young and old. Pure joy for a group who are not always easy to please. Recommend the garlic prawns (simply phenomenal , garlic mushrooms (like I’ve never tasted! , Mac and cheese (pleased a 13 Yr old, hard to please USA foody addict and sirloin steak which was tasty beyond measure. Bottle of Sauvignon was cheap by restaurant standards but good quality too. Recommended by a tricky group who are hard to please in their entirety, usually but all left wanting a return visit. Wish we lived closer as we would be regulars!"

"We phoned on a wet Sunday and were lucky enough to get a table for the Sunday Carvery. I was slightly concerned at being asked to pay for the meal before I had even sat at the table, and I also found it odd that we were unable to add drinks to our bill (you have to go to the bar and pay for those separately). We decided to stick with it and I'm very glad we did because the meal itself was superb! A choice of three different meats, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and probably ten different varieties of vegetable gave plenty of choice. My wife had beef and turkey, while I had just beef and without a doubt it was one of the best roast lunches either of us have ever had. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic (the Cauliflower Cheese especially was superb). THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED and I would go out of my way to eat here again."

"The Caesar salad with halloumi was delicious. The water was infused with some sort of fresh herbs which was a surprise, as it was tap water, and was free, but it was very refreshing. The service was top notch. The staff was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere were calming and relaxing, I almost felt like I was doing mindful eating. I cannot find one fault with this restaurant. I will be coming back to try different things on the menu. I would for sure recommend this restaurant."

"I was hoping from the menu that a gluten free, vegan pizza might have been possible, but the gluten free pizza was not vegan, so with my allergies I couldn't have that. However, I ordered a mixed salad for a starter and the vegetarian pasta sauce on gluten free pasta and they were both absolutely gorgeous! I would have found it a little easier to order if there had been an indication of allergens within the pasta sauces themselves, so I could have seen straight away which ones would have been ok. I was delighted with my food though it tasted wonderful and looked beautiful. Plus, for people who need just gluten free, or just vegan, having those dedicated pages on the menu is great. Everyone's food looked delicious (I was in a large group) and we had a lovely evening. I would recommend this restaurant and I will be pleased to go again."

"I have booked for Sunday short for 25 people after a positive experience at the weekend. every dish I tried was amazing, the menu was easy to read, they had quality beer on the draught ie cobra and estrella and location scenery was very relaxing in the marina with plentiful parking. an Indian gloom I tried everything, but was pleasantly surprised by the secret twist to the aromes I had never experienced. great service of callum and beth. nothing was too much annoyed, each request was filled with a smile and one yes I can what is especially commendable when there was a big party to keep happy. each person went with an unforgettable culinary experience."

"We walked in at lunchtime and despite us being the only customers , the pub was cosy and warm and beautifully decorated for Christmas. A lovely greeting too. As there were no sandwich menu we didn’t want a full meal we had to opt for the soup. This is where the pub let itself down the Pea and Ham soup with bread it appeared to be a thick pile of grey looking mushy peas but we dug in to find it luke warm and not a hint of ham nor any other flavour at all. Clearly no thought or culinary know how had gone into this recipe oh, and butter with the bread ! We pushed it about and left. I suppose we should have said something but it was so dire it was embarrassing . I did hear the cook saying to the bar lady that there were only 2 portions of the soup left just as well ……… Shame no sandwiches or similar were offered on the lunch menu . Giving it a three star as the pub itself was beautiful and so cosy on such a cold day and bar lady very friendly"

"a table for a family dinner. restaurant was busy so the service was somewhat slower than usual, but our server alex was friendly, attentive and helpful. many unavailable foods, maybe they should reassess their order? eating was delicious and in portions. Right. only the complaining was the icy sun of the child had only a tiny creature ice in chocolate sauce drowned with fill of beats on the plate. the ice has not even filled the half of the conical bowl. Despite the fullness of chocolate can my son was disappointed by his lack of ice in an ice sunshade! Not sure if that was because they ran out of ice or just stingy!"
