If he is not understanding his own menu information in the restaurant, what can he explains about the food to customers with that very very rude behaviour.. he don’t know manners also. "This is a review of a restaurant that I had a disappointing experience at. Upon arriving, I ordered a hoagie that had an unexpected ingredient in it. When I questioned the staff member about it, he made inappropriate comments about wanting to explore my body. He then followed a minor into the restroom, and the child was not seen again after he left. This behavior is absolutely disgusting, especially for a restaurant with "king" in its name. Stay away from this establishment."

"I love traditional Asian curries and this place can never satisfy. I guess it's a family-run takeaway, the chef is very skillful and makes fresh curries with taste, like traditional home cooked bradford curries. I have starved when I think about it! had a lamb and huh spinat madras recently, and young, it was delicious! portion sizes are also big, I usually have something for the next day. donna meat is good and bark donna without gristle bits and not full of fat, as cheaper donna meat. wrap it in a bit chapati and curry, tastes brilliant! I can also recommend her lahoria chicken speciality, has a good mix of aromen. the staff are friendly and make them welcome."

"Used this place has a late night curry has my friend said it’s okay I had lamb madras and mild chicken curry with boiled rice and naan bread by the time I got home which was a 5 mile Trek across the other side of town the food was still piping or plus the owner gave us free Pompa Dom‘s and onion chutney which was a nice. Food tasted very nice. Location is easy to find has soon has you enter hersall lane its the 1st left just after the bathroom company and 200 yds on your right by the 1 junction food is good the takeaway building could do with a revamp otherwise I recommend this late night balti shop."

"Orders through just eat and the deliver time was an hour and ten minutes. After this time the app updated to say the food had been delivered but nothing had arrived. I rang direct and was told that the order had been lost in the kitchen and hadn't even been processed. Promised it would be delivered within half an hour. I rang again 45 minutes later and was told it was on the way. Order didn't arrive until a further 25 minutes later. Driver was apologetic and said a driver had broken down. Might have been believable if it hadn't been for the initial mistake with the order and the 2 hour delay. He offered half price next time but I assured him there wouldn't be a next time after such poor service. Sat down to cold food at 9pm after placing the order at 6.19pm. Just awful. Avoid at all costs."

"Me and my girlfriend came here and were pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere and decor were fine the starters were good but the meal really took off when we got to the mains. "We had dinner at this restaurant and I wasn't sure if the reviews I read would meet my expectations. The restaurant is not very fancy, but it's okay. The tarka dal was just right, the paneer makhani was nice and spicy, and the chicken tikka masala was decent. It's a bring your own drink establishment with no corkage charge, as the off-license is next door. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Overall, it lived up to expectations. If you're craving Indian food in Edinburgh, give it a try."

"Following the principle 'good ought to be sought ', we scanned through reviews here on TripAdvisor to look a good Nihari place and found 'Karachi Pakwan '. I called ahead to reserve a table and to get a 'feel ' for the service/people, it went well. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nofel as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated. We were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambience, warm plates, clean cutlery and spotless glasses. (You 'd be surprised how rare the last 3 are at Pakistani restaurants) Our host recommended masala fish whilst we 'd wait for our main which we thought tasted excellent. Our main, Nihari with Kulchas was served at our requested time. The kulchas were fresh and perhaps the nicest we had at any Pakistani restaurant. Nihari was good enough, albeit I did think it could have done with a bit of (fat) trimming. Regardless, the taste didn 't disappoint. We had no room to try their recommended falooda (or even a sweet paan) but we shall in our next visit. The restaurant is about 90 minutes drive from us BUT worth it. Our previous Nihari restaurant (in West Hendon) is half that distance but declining service had costed them our custom of 10 years. We shall be returning to Karachi Pakwan for more."

Although they do not have a liquor license yet, it was easy to run across the road to Scotmid for a bottle of red wine. "i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went through the same experience twice more although i always tipped him.i went to order again and was told we dont deliver to you anymore .use uber eats and the phone was dropped twice on me.this is so shocking im enraged and words fail me that this kind of attitude happens in the uk.if your driver doesent want to deliver get on that does want to.these points have already been covered in many other reviews,very negative experience and just generally very unpleasant.thank god there many other restaurants in the area ,so i dont have to give support to such unprofessional outfits"
