"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. When I got through, I made a point to come back. overpriced restaurants could learn something or two from these youngs. service with a smile, also had the huh tikka, which is delicious. recommended and five stars all over the way. If I'm ever up the neck of the forest, this place is saved in my favorites."

"we went for the first time on Friday. I'm shocked it won't heaving! the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and did not linger or hasten you. there was so much choice on the menu and loved that they could see in the kitchen that proved they had nothing to hide! the ice cream is amazing when they can choose a taste, the naan looks amazing and they were so helpful with diet requirements. if they enjoy beer and do not drive, they try the king cobras, but warn them are quite strong! we took two parent groups, both of whom said it was the best indian they were, the facility that was the personal everything brilliant. 100% recommended!"

"I have ordered food from this restaurant several times now and have no complaints about the quality or price. However, the delivery service is very poor. The first time we ordered, we waited nearly 2 hours and I ended up walking to the restaurant to pick it up, only to receive a call from my wife saying the food had arrived while I was out. I tried calling to check on the order, but couldn't get through. Other reviews seem to agree with this experience. They also have a permanent advertisement for delivery drivers in the window, which might be part of the problem. It's a great curry house for collection since we are only 5 minutes away."

"I am a long standing customer of The Spice Merchant and unfortunately the consistency just isn’t there. It’s never bad, sometimes great, but mostly good. Recently prices seemed to have increased across the board, but also portion size has been reduced, so it no longer feels like value for money. The naan is almost half the size, but is almost twice as expensive. The meat in most dishes seems to have halve too, but are now about £3 more expensive. Popadoms used to be included, but are no £1 each?"

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! I only tried it because someone insisted that their biryani was the best they had ever had, and they were right. The exterior may be unassuming and the decor questionable, but the service and food more than make up for it. I tried the mixed grill and the lamb biryani, both of which were amazing. "Nouvelle Spice is a wonderful Indian restaurant located in New Cross. Their friendly service, large portions, and affordable prices make it a great dining spot. "Went for my sister’s bday. Had a great time. Only few things is that they don’t give tap water and charge a lot for a small bottle of water. They don’t accept card payment. It must be cash for now because they haven’t installed the card payment machine, there is an atm right outside the lounge. The food was too tasty and will be back again to have it again. The Mocktails are so good and generally it was a nice vibe and great ambience. The staff were really attentive and made my sisters day really lovely."

"This small, cozy, hidden gem is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. "Our experience on New Year's Eve was absolutely terrible. We ordered our family NYE curry at 6:15 pm and were told it would take 80 minutes. However, by 9:30 pm, we were still trying to get in touch with the restaurant. We were very hungry, especially our child. When we finally reached them, we were hung up on. The food didn't arrive until 10:20 pm, after we had already ordered a pizza out of frustration. We offered to accept the food if they removed the cost of the pizzas, but they refused and took the food back. It was clear that Tiffins prioritized quantity over quality and service, showing pure greed in our opinion. This ruined our New Year's meal and we will never be returning as customers. Well done on losing a customer for life."

"Six of us gathered for a birthday tea at lunchtime! Although it wasn't available at the traditional tea time, that didn’t matter to us; we dug in at noon. A stunning tiered stand was brought to our table, featuring savory delights on the bottom and sweet treats on top. We enjoyed samosas, caramelized spicy chicken wings, pieces of buttermilk chicken, a serving of paneer curry, and chicken tikka wraps, among other delicious items, all perfectly spiced. As for the top layer, there was an incredibly moist orange and chocolate cake, meringue topped with whipped cream and mango, a mango lassi, and a sugary syrup-drenched doughnut whose name escapes me, along with a couple of other sweet treats. We all had a fantastic time and would return in a heartbeat!"

"I order 2 pack of meal deals 1hun tikka masala, pilau reis and an extra simple naan I said it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes this was good, we waited for 2 hours and when it arrived the food. was cold and we had no soaking with our packings and there was a missing naan broth for the kids also no cries After we had read so many great reviews, we were looking forward to trying it, but tbh was it a let down that was bland and tasteless possibly the worst Indian food I have ever experienced and the service was just as bad. I just wish I had little indie with my ordinary Indian takeaway, which never fails. it cost me £35 for 2 packs 1 huhn tikka masala 2 bags of chips 1 pilau reis and popadoms. when I went to the menu and added the price of the food without the packs it on £16.40 meant that I paid almost £10 for the packs alone. I'm sorry, but that ruined mine at night, and I'm never gonna give it back to me."
