"The chicken Biriyani meals used to be of high quality but now too much salt has overpowered this particular meal which ruined the taste considering how much they are each one is now £12.95 and have gone up in price I would of expected better. spent over £30 and couldn't eat them because the salt taste made the meal impossible to eat. Poppadom's were 60p last year now have gone up to 95p in price I presume this is why there is a 20% off deliveries when you spend over £20. Very disappointed"

"As it was my birthday me and a friend thought it would be a nice treat to get a takeaway after work. We placed our order over the phone and requested to collect it so that we could receive the 10% off the bill which I saw advertised online. We also asked out of interest if they would offer anything complimentary as it was my birthday. The person on the phone asked what I liked to drink to which I replied Prosecco, he then began to laugh which made me think that that was too much to ask for and he would've expected me to just ask for a beer or glass of wine. It wasn't until we were about to leave the restaurant after paying and collecting our order that the man lifts up a bottle of champagne and gives it to us for free! This was a wonderful surprise that went beyond expectations and made us leave with smiles on our faces. The food was very tasty and filling also and overall it was a great end to my birthday. We will most definitely be back!"

"Scratching my head trying to work out why this place has so many great reviews? I guess the majority of people know absolutely nothing about fine curry and this must be the standard they are used to! The chicken was the chewiest that I had ever come across and looked like it was somebody's left overs... from three nights ago, the rice was clumpy and sticky and the naan bread was burned to a cinder. I have generously given 2 stars because the ceylon sauce definitely resembled a decent ceylon with plenty of coconut, which Is hard to come by these days, the staff were friendly and attentive and it's a bring your own booze affair! I know curry well, I was brought up on it, so do yourselves a favour and go to the Balti House further up the road! Mr Curry."

"After resolving the initial confusion regarding our OpenTable reservation, I am happy to say that everything is going smoothly at Chutney. Our goal of trying the exceptional and unique curries offered here is still ongoing. The standout dish of the evening was the lamb and spinach curry, which was delicious. The fact that these dishes taste lighter and fresher than traditional Indian cuisine is a major selling point. We will definitely be returning here on a monthly basis."

"The best place for South Indian tiffin in Birmingham, without a doubt. I have had a few visits and the food quality has been consistent. Interestingly, they serve the longest dosa in Europe, which is called the Chennai Dosa special. You should not miss it. Bit pricey but the food quality justifies it. Recommended!"

"We had a superb meal in the Bombay Bicycle Club. It was quieter than I’ve known it to be because of Covid but the staff attention to detail was excellent and the food was just delicious. We shared starters of fish pakora and mixed pakora that covered a beautiful range of flavours and textures. The pakora were prepared in a light batter that allowed the flavours of the fish, chicken and vegetables to come thru... the haggis pakora easily fended for itself on flavour. We had mains of lamb madras curry and tandoori prawns on a bed of sizzling onions. The prawns were among best we have ever tasted and the lamb madras (I asked for slightly less hot) was wonderfully spicy, succulent and still had that familiar warmth. Drinks wise, Edinburgh tap water tastes good anyway, but the restaurant serve it chilled which was great and we had a glass of house red, perfectly delicious and was a good medium to full bodied and a glass of refreshing white with the prawns. Last word for the ambiance and the staff. The feel of the restaurant was familiar and relaxed, it’s lovely and airy and the big glass front brings lots of light and a chance to people watch. The staff are superbly courteous and friendly and as mentioned their attention to service is impressive. We will return soon, I recommend you give it a try too."

"OMG! This place is a true gem One of the best Indian restaurants in London, offering truly amazing food with a wonderful ambiance and friendly staff. I ordered the Lamb Biryani, Kerala Parotta, and Lamb Ularthiyath. While everything was delicious, the Lamb Ularthiyath really stood out. Even though the prices were reasonable, the unexpectedly high convenience fee came as a surprise. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in London!"

"We stumbled on this restaurant after a long hike. There isn’t any parking at the restaurant but we were advised to park in the pets world retail park and it was a 5 mins walk to the restaurant. Decor is simple nothing fancy. Staff were very friendly, attentive and social which makes a huge difference to the experience. Food was surprisingly good. We ordered channa puri and mixed grill for starters. For mains we had chicken jalfrezi, tandoori prawn masala with rice and naan. Lastly for dessert we had cardamom tea and kulfi ice cream. Our favourite was the channa puri, jalfrezi and the naan which was freshly made. The kulfi ice cream was a nice finish to the meal. The other dishes were okay but nothing really to write home about and we may be a little tougher considering this is our home food. We have made allowances for the fact the restaurant needs to cater for its locals such as sweetening up some of the dishes with cream and coconut. They also made space for my husband to pray which was a bonus. Unfortunately they do not take American Express but took debit card payments. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would come again."

"I ordered a takeaway on the and I’ve never been more disappointed. Firstly our food was all cold, I specifically choose an restaurant that’s not too far from my home (Less then miles away) so I do not expect to have to warm...my food in the microwave! My partner ordered a Chicken Tikka CHILLI Massala which is described as “hot and punchy” but the curry was bland and equivalent to a Korma! Mushroom rice, the Chilli Massala and the Aloo Gobi were all swimming in water and oil (I have added some photos to show this) We ordered a Garlic Naan but again this was freezing cold and was also rock hard, I couldn’t even cut it with a pizza cutter! I do not like leaving bad reviews at all. I have already phoned Spice Garden and tried to talk to them about our order but when explaining to them about our food they did not seem to care, no apology given at all. Extremely disappointing food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!"

"The food at this restaurant is incredible, the best I have ever tasted. It's even better than my favorite restaurant! The pricing is great - we had a fantastic meal for two for just £24. The service is friendly and it's easy to order either in person or online. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again and again."

"We have been here a couple of times before. On this occasion I went there about 2pm on a saturday afternoon for lunch as I was driving through Oxford. It was a good place to go as I was able to park my car at the very nearby Railway station parking which offers parking for a full day for about £4. Dosa Park is cafe style in its decor and ambience. Typically for a place like this, it attracts mostly students and asian tourists who are perhaps missing home cooked food. It was easy to get a table and the service is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu. The Idli sambhar I ordered was good except I found the sambhar too hot (taste wise) which is maybe a personal thing. The other two condiments or chutneys were flavoursome. The Idlis were steaming hot when they arrived but they seemed quite hard. They may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Still, they were ok. Reasonably priced. Great selection for vegetarians. May stop by here again if in the area. Enjoy!"

"Arrived in London late and hungry. We still had to check in to our hotel and had noticed, on the Yelp App, that Salt was not far. We asked the front desk guy about it but apparently he wasn 't a fan. He referred to it as where night people went. Not sure what he meant by that at the time but, it was night and I was hungry so, I guess that made me one of them. Left our things in the room and walked to Salt. As we approached the restaurant we realized what he meant. We were in a middle eastern part of town and this place was packed even though it was already 10pm on a weekday. The people at the outside tables were smoking hookah, having delicious looking Nan bread with dipping sauces, and everyone seemed to be having a great, relaxing time. Seemed like a great place so far. Went in and liked it even more. Plenty of tables all around, beautiful and very organized full bar (with a long list of whiskeys), and we were seated immediately. Took me a while to decide on what to eat, they have a good variety of dishes on their menu, mostly Indian cuisine but there some dishes for people who prefer things like a burger or fish and chips. Finally decided on their Chicken wrap, and we also ordered a lamb wrap and potato cake. While we waited for the food we got our drinks... vodka soda and a Campari Spritzer. The food came out fairly fast and hot. Big portions and Big flavors. The Chicken wrap had a delicious curry taste, and you can ask for it to made with nan instead of a regular wrap bread . The Nan makes a huge difference, trust me. Made me want to ask for more on the side but I refrained as what we had on the table was more than enough already. It comes with a mint sauce on the side but, I enjoyed it more with the yogurt sauce from the potato pancake. Which were very tasty too! Our server came over from time to time to bring us new drinks, refill our waters and make sure food was to our liking. So glad we didn 't listen to the guy at the hotel. As mentioned it was my first night in London, and so far it started on a great note. Definitely a place I would recommend!"

"This restaurant offered an authentic experience of sub-continental cuisine. The venture is very enterprising located in NESCOT. Everything is new and very clean. There is a good choice of dishes although on our visit the two dishes my son asked for were not available. I had a sizzling tikka dish of chicken lamb chop and fish which was very good accompanied with an exceptional vegetable curry with nine different vegetables. My son enjoyed his chicken tikka masala . Naan bread and a chapati were of a high standard. The service was a bit slow but it is a training ground for youngsters making their way in the catering industry."
