"We have been here a couple of times before. On this occasion I went there about 2pm on a saturday afternoon for lunch as I was driving through Oxford. It was a good place to go as I was able to park my car at the very nearby Railway station parking which offers parking for a full day for about £4. Dosa Park is cafe style in its decor and ambience. Typically for a place like this, it attracts mostly students and asian tourists who are perhaps missing home cooked food. It was easy to get a table and the service is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu. The Idli sambhar I ordered was good except I found the sambhar too hot (taste wise) which is maybe a personal thing. The other two condiments or chutneys were flavoursome. The Idlis were steaming hot when they arrived but they seemed quite hard. They may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Still, they were ok. Reasonably priced. Great selection for vegetarians. May stop by here again if in the area. Enjoy!"

Very close to Oxford train station, we stumbled upon this by mistake The atmosphere is nothing special; extremely casual, limited seating.

Decent food, but the ambience leaves something to be desired. Really like the spot, but would like it a lot more if it didn't cost me £2.50 for rice.

Amazing food at a great price with many vegetarian options. South Indian Currys the usual dosa/idli/vada are amazing. A must to visit for real Indian food. View menu

Your menu seems to be very diverse, not only limited to food from the south of the subcontinent. I ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa. The portion size was ideal for my ravenous appetite. Masala could have been more sharp.

Dosa Park is the perfect spot for those craving Indian cuisine! I tried the Special Pongal thali and it was absolutely delicious, piping hot, satisfying, and made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend giving their dishes a try.

We ordered the lamb biryani with raita and salan, and it was very authentic and flavorful, in the typical South Indian style - spicy and delicious. Highly recommended. For dessert, we tried the rasmalai, which was decent but nothing exceptional. Overall, we had a great experience. The service was also very good and the prices were reasonable. View menu

Absolutely fantastic place! My all time Favourite! Love the quality of the food. I always come here whenever I feel a bit homesick. Although they are raising the prices of the dishes really high these days. Not all students can afford to spend so much on one time meal. If they could start offering something for students would be really great. But overall a must visit place for sure!

A place with really nice food. They helped me get my wheelchair up the lip at the door. Indian people eat here which is probably the best recommendation! The restaurant is unfancy. Food is really nice. Lots of options that you don't get in other places. Very expertly cooked. This is not an autistic friendly place. Due to the sheer popularity of this restaurant I started out okay but had to wear both ear plugs and ear defenders by 6:50pm. However, the lighting is more autistic friendly than most as they use lightbulbs with wicker basket shades. So it's not totally overwhelming. The Kulfi Milkshake is to die for.

"I've been going to Oxford for 3 years now and in that time to be frank struggled to find a decent go to restaurant. I can now say with delight i've found my destination. I present SPICED ROOTS a little caribbean culinary gem. The fresh perfectly cooked food is absolutely delicious and gives off that home cooked by mummy vibe and is beautifully presented. The chilli and garlic prawns had my eyes closed Mark Weins style (if you know you know) so juicy with an incredible depth of flavour, the Trini doubles not only were seasoned to perfection they left you wanting more and the Jerk chicken spring rolls were an absolute triumph. For mains we had the ackee and callaloo Jerk Tempah (vegetarian) and the Jerk chicken. Both came with rice peas, plaintain and salad. Not only were the portions huge the flavours of both dishes were just mind blowingly delicious. Then we embarked on dessert and had the beautiful spiced rum cake and a selection of 3 home made ice creams namely Coconut, Guinness and the old Caribbean favourite Rum and Raisin, all recommended by the owner. It's at this point I feel compelled to speak about the rum raisin ice cream. I've eaten this ice cream on numerous occasions at numerous locations in Jamaica over my many years and I tell you no word of a lie this was hands down the best rum and raisin ice cream I've ever tasted, it literally left us speechless. So to summarise, this place has great food, great music, great service and a wonderfully charming owner who's totally invested in serving great, incredibly tasty, authentic Caribbean food clearly prepared with love. What more could you ask for. Fair to say it was meant to be. Uncle Jay."
