"We were the only two customers in the restaurant, yet our food took a long time to arrive and was severely burnt. Our dessert, a simple cookie, took 35 minutes to be served, even though there were no other tables occupied. No one apologized or offered any explanation for the delays. Our table wasn't cleared at all during our visit. Additionally, the manager was quite rude and appeared to be unsure of how to handle the situation."

"However, after placing our orders, we faced a long wait for our food. The pizza arrived 15 minutes before the rest of the meal, and we were not informed that the garlic bread was included. Eventually, three burgers were served, but after another 10 minutes, we had to inquire about my daughter's chicken burger. It turned out the chef had completely overlooked it in our order. The pizza remained untouched, as it was quite bland. I then requested a refund for the missing items, as my daughter didn’t want to wait any longer for her meal. To say the evening was disappointing would be an understatement. The manager eventually came over to apologize and offered a full refund, acknowledging that his staff were doing their best; however, it seemed that the focus on delivery orders took precedence over the dining experience for those present. It may be beneficial to have a cook who can manage both delivery and dine-in orders, ensuring that seated customers are not forgotten."

"The evening in the Macau Kitchen was just perfect! The warm chat with the owners makes you feel as if you visit the home of your old friends. The food was so delicious and yummy that it is hard to describe it in a few words! The cod in a turmeric sauce was just a masterpiece! Very well balanced and rich in spices, but not too hot! Our child was super happy with his meal as well! Sweet potatoes with beef work well for kids, and his spring rolls were just the best in Edinburgh (sorry to the other restaurants, you are quite far from achieving it). For the dessert, we chose the Snow mountain. What should I say? Just standing ovations to the kitchen! Bravo! Very well done, guys! You are amazing! We love, love, love you and hope to see you again very soon!"

"Went to Ken's Kebab on Friday night on Albert Road. I do not usually write reviews but on this occasion I had to. Firstly, the service that was offered was very poor. No attentiveness, smiles or basic customer service skills. The lamb shish I ordered was burnt and dry. They caked it in chilli sauce. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. It was like eating a leather boot that had been trekking in the Sahara. The chicken wings were hard, overcooked on the outside, tasteless and still **** on the bone. A case of gastroenteritis if we continued to eat. When returning to pick up the missed burger, a simple sorry was offered. Again very poor customer service. All in all I would never go there again and would not recommend to others either. If your drunk on a late weekend bender, then this may be acceptable to that group of people. I don't drink and I do not have a dog either. I wish these kind of establishments would cater for the wider non drinking population, that try to enjoy takeaway treats and avoid running to the loo throughout the night."

"Firstly, I just want to point out that I've only ever tried the pizza here so can't comment on anything else from the menu. I've tried the pizza lots of times a few different ways ordering at the shop, ordering for delivery, ordering for takeaway... I've never been 100% sober when I've eaten something from there but I can comment that: 1) Delivery with Just Eat took well over an hour and the pizza was very odd... the cheese on top seemed to be burnt and I don't think they got the toppings quite right. 2) Ordering straight from the shop can take a while, but I'm pretty sure this is cheapest as they always have deals on. Last time I did this they gave me a pizza that wasn't on the menu. It was a weird mix of stuff and I analysed the remaining slice in the morning and checked the menu to see what I'd ordered... but nothing tallied. Not a clue what sort of pizza the chef was trying to create, but it was pretty nice. 3) Ordering for collection. Oh yes. Ordering for collection... I can't stress this enough. ORDER FOR COLLECTION. Best way by far. Never been let down when I've done this just great, fatty, greasy, cheesy pizza (but so, so much better than Domino's or Papa Johns). In summary: cheap, nice, cheesy pizza. But it you want something *genuinely* nice you're better off going to Pizza Face."

"Hands down the best chicken shop in the southwest! Not only are the staff polite, professional and highly skilled but the food is divine. All meats, breads and dairy are fresh everyday and all meals are served to restaurant quality(I can tell this as I eat at alot of establishments) . You can be in for a long wait if getting delivery but it 's always worth the wait in the end. Although it 's a 'chicken shop ' the gourmet beef burgers are my favourite thing on the menu. Can 't forget the buy one get one free on pizzas aswell (always useful when moneys tight)... Literally a domino 's pizza for way less! While I 'm at it.. "best dominos pizza! had pizza from a few none are as good as fleet, so if we have pizza now, it's just fleet to which we go. woking is pretty **** poor ive had sloppy pizza burned from there others. had never had a bad pizza from the fleet. even an order 20 minutes before closing bless, they were even open until we get there to collect it. the employees are nice, even had nice talks with the manager. also the suppliers, really good at their job, that is sure! pretty much always give a tip. fast efficient. "I used to love this place and decided to order a South of the border Pizza which was my all time favourite. Delivery came on time to my hotel but I was sorely disappointed with the pizza. Huge pieces of green and red peppers, and quite bland. The s.o.t.b. of old was spicy and had jalapenos to knock your socks off. Lovely food, generous portions, great value (even without the 50% off scheme)...this is as close to proper, home-cooked Lebanese food as you'll find anywhere in this area.Our waitress was friendly, very polite and efficient.
