"They also have great offers; it's impressive how they provide such high-quality food at such reasonable prices! We paid about £10 for what we had: poppadoms, a starter, a main course, and a side. We were so full after our meal that we didn't have room for dessert or coffee, but even if we did, I don't think we would have spent more than £15 per person! Better yet, in true Balti house tradition, they allow you to bring your own alcohol, so there's no need to overspend on drinks either! I definitely missed out by not trying this place sooner. I used to think my options were either a) go to a fancy restaurant for good food and pay top dollar for both food and drinks or b) go to a Balti house, where the quality is hit or miss, so I just never bothered, even though it would save me money. Now I've found the best of both worlds: a great restaurant, top-notch food, low prices, and the ability to bring my own alcohol! Is it any wonder that I've been back four times in the last two weeks? Keep up the great work!"

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"Last Saturday night, on June 25th, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I strongly advise against ordering from this establishment. My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. We are awaiting the results from doctors to confirm if it was indeed food poisoning. Order from this place at your own risk."

"I got takeout today and I have to say, I was blown away by the curry I ordered. The Chicken Tikka main dish was phenomenal, with tender chicken and a side of fried mushrooms that were absolutely delightful. And let's talk about the vindaloo sauce - most places tend to make it milder than it should be, but not this restaurant. Their vindaloo sauce was spicy and packed with flavor, just the way it should be. Overall, I was very impressed and satisfied with my meal. Well done!"

"I went to the restaurant and ordered a meal deal along with some additional items. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the items I wanted. This should have been a red flag for me as the problems continued throughout the meal. The starter was overcooked and dry, the chips were overcooked, and the naan bread was burnt. Both the Peshawari and garlic naan were tasteless and had a powdery, salty texture. My dining companions and I were very disappointed and found the whole experience disgusting. I would not recommend Flame Tandoori to anyone. It was a long time since I had such a bad dining experience."

I recently visited their location in York to demo the new speakers, the Donator D7.2, and the Rega Planar 8 turntable. After the demo, I decided to purchase both items as well as Atacama furniture. Once everything arrived, Matt offered to come to my house in Kendal in the Lake District to install the audio equipment. This was a fantastic service that I greatly appreciated. "2nd delivery ordered after a few weeks of trying Miah takeaway. The food that was delivered was tasty as the 1st time was. That said the service was somewhat questionable!! Firstly a food delivery arrived within the said time! Unfortunately it was a meal for 1 when we’d ordered for a family of 4, it wasn’t anything we’d ordered! Then after numerous calls by my wife (mainly just cut off) once answered we got the standard ‘we’ve got a new driver making mistakes’ ‘we are really busy and it will be there soon’. 2hrs after order the correct food arrives ‘we’d been asked to keep the food that originally arrived’ and we sent that back untouched as I’m not disposing of their error, we also had a number of ordered and paid for accompaniments not in the delivery!! So as a few words of advice for a company that provides good tasty food, if you get the service right you could clear up in terms of market share in this area, unfortunately you are falling short at this moment in terms of consistent high service delivery."

"I Ordered after work and it took over an hour to receive. That was fine as I can look past that as I understand Friday night can be busy. However then we opened the order and they forgot a whole Main dish. When I called up to tell the restaurant there was no sympathy and no apology at all, just a “we will get the other main out to you on the drivers next run” when I ask how long his reply was “15-20mins”....... 35-40minutes later we get the forgotten main dish... thanks a lot. To top it all off the lamb dish I ordered was dry and the sauce was like apple sauce out of a baby food jar. Dont order from this place they have obviously don’t value customers Bit of advice to the takeaway. If you would have just said sorry i would have understood and looked past it. Not just put couple of poppadoms in the bad and think that makes it alright. Ignorant"

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."
