"I ordered a big meal for my family and myself, as we had never tried this restaurant before. When the food arrived, it was not very hot and we had to warm up some dishes. I ordered a king prawn bhuna and found it to be extremely bland - it tasted like prawns in plain water. My husband ordered a king prawn curry and had a similar experience. The onion bhajis had a weird texture and taste, and overall we were quite disappointed. While the food was edible, the lack of flavor means we won't be ordering from this restaurant again."

what can I say I usually write no reviews, but I felt compelled to do this. Amazing eating and great staff. the king prawn biriyani is my ultimate favorit. the flavorful full of taste. honestly, this amount of local legend in basildon.

Amazing food served here, the best Indian we have tried. Very good website and staff are always helpful. Very good veggie and vegan range too. The food always arrives super quick. They really need to open a restaurant. It would be really busy!

The food is always amazing, I have never had a bad meal. Always get my food with 30 45 mins. We had a missing item so we called to let them know and within 10 (probably not even that) they had delivered our missing item plus some extras! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

taste of bombay is my place! amazing eating along the side extraordinary customer service. eating is excellent, personal favorites is the tikka chips. I can guarantee that no one makes Ktikka chips like them and that's just the beginning. I would like to go back to the taste of bombay and I would definitely recommend it to others. amazing prices for amazing food :

I’ve been using this Indian takeaway for a few years now, and always found their dishes to be excellent, the spicing of their dishes is spot on, the depth of flavour you get is excellent, the only peculiarity is they always give you a small pot of mint sauce to go with your curry, but no Papadom, for me it’s pointless having mint sauce if you haven’t got a Papadom to dip into it

I had a terrible experience with my first takeaway from this restaurant tonight. I ordered chicken tikka bhuna madras, but it was disappointing. The chicken pieces did not look or taste like tikka, and 4 out of the 6 pieces were undercooked and inedible. The sauce was supposed to be madras hot but was thin and lacked any flavor other than chili. A bhuna should be thick, rich, and flavorful, but this dish fell short. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
